I feel there is more stuff to the story than Cara is saying.

Wow the Jake/Cara scenes today were amazing! Especially towards the end when Cara was telling Jake the "truth" about why she left him...RPG and LH did a fantastic job. I am loving how AMC's writing this...it's so interesting watching things unfold. So far, I think this story is a hit and I'm looking forward to more.

When Griffin asked Cara what she told Jake about why she left him, she told him she said she wanted out of the marriage, I think Griffin's reaction to that insinuated that what Cara told Jake wasn't true. She left Jake for another reason.

The obvious and most common thing would be that she was pregnant with his child or something but I really hope AMC chooses something else. I was watching the show with someone else today and she said what if Cara left Jake because she really wasn't attracted to him, she's really attracted to women and didn't want him to know? That got me to thinking. She accepted his proposal because she didn't want to hurt his feelings and then things got to be to much and she just called Griffin and told him to pick her up. I'm thinking about when LH said she told Julie Carruthers that she'd be willing to play a lesbian character. Could be totally off base here but I think that could really be interesting, and different.

The editing on AMC has been really terrible lately. One minute Frankie was at ConFusion with Madison and Randi, then two scenes later he was at the hospital in David's room talking to Greenlee. WTF? And Greenlee got the call to go to the hospital like 2 commercial breaks before....it was just weird. Also one minute Tad was at ConFusion surfing on his lap top, then the next he showed up at the hospital and told Jake about Cara/Griffin being siblings.

^That would be an interesting twist, but I'd be surprised if AMC went that way. The way they seem to be portraying this is that Cara still loves Jake and wants to be with him, even if she isn't saying it outloud (I mean, she still has her wedding ring on a chain around her neck). I'm guessing she had cancer and didn't want to be a burden to Jake. Or perhaps there was big, embarassing family troubles that she had to leave to help clean up.

After all... tomorrow is another day!

Who is writing AMC these days? I hope they don't get fired any time soon.

It's so weird that I find myself tuning back in this week and I really don't have many complaints with it for the first time in forever. This is the first time I'm tuning back in since David Canary retired that I could watch the show and even in his final days I hated everything about AMC EXCEPT for DC and MCE.

-I hated Zach so I'm so glad he's gone and Kendall is free to be a fierce but vulnerable bitch I find rootable.

-I can't stand Ryan or Greenlee and I am loving Kendall bitching out Greenlee at every opportunity and find it absolutely delicious that infertile Greenlee is gonna have to cope with Madison carrying Ryan's spawn. And somehow this show has made me like Madison even though it makes NO sense to me that the Hubbards are actually nice to her and care about her and I couldn't stand her when she was originally introduced and I discover she apparently had sex with Ryan (ewwww) but I still like her? That definitely is some tour de force writing/acting right there.

-I love the way they are writing Cara and I love what Lindsay Hartley has added to the show and her chemistry with RPG at the same time I don't dislike Jake and Amanda either so I feel like I can't lose either way they go here. It's amazing what a better job AMC has done to realize LH's potential than DAYS ever did with her in the Arianna role. Not sure how I feel about this Griffin guy yet but he doesn't annoy me at all and that's a very positive first step.

-I like JR and Annie together but am intrigued by the possibility of her losing her shit again.

IMissAremid, I agree with you all the way up until the J.R. and Annie line. I took a big old break from AMC during Pratt's reign of terror, but I did check in to see Crazy Annie, and I loved MCE in that role. But, I only became a daily watcher of AMC again b/c of Jannie. I don't see how Jannie can last if they make Annie go completely batshit crazy again (as in having delusions and trying to murder people)

Wednesday's episode and the writing for Annie was just a complete switch of the way they had been writing Annie even a week ago. She's held her shit together for most of 2010 but all of a sudden she turns on the crazy switch b/c J.R.'s penis is exclusively hers now? That shit is weak.

I want Annie to have her edge and I want her to be destructive and bitchy and an all out hellcat BUT the character needs to be in control. I want Annie to be pretty much the way she was after she and J.R. first hooked up. She was a sociopath -- calculating, shrewd, and in control when she needed to be. She lashed out and broke shit and tried to play with J.R.'s mind. That's Crazy Sexy Annie. Give me that, or even a little darker than that, and I'm fine.

Crazy Annie, however, is a psychopath who suffers from delusions and needs serious medication and a psychiatric evaluation. That is where I think Annie may be heading after Wednesday's episode. But, what happens to Annie after that? She's not a viable romantic lead after that. Maybe they think they can make her into another Janet from Another Planet, but that bitch killed Trevor and left him in a freezer! No Annie Banannie! That kind of crazy is not sexy. That kind of crazy should not be in a relationship.

I love how Kendall's trying so hard to prove to people that she isn't totally consumed with Zach's death and can still work and function as a person without having a meltdown or something. I'm glad the show didn't take a total rock bottom approach with her. She had a few days of being a total mess about this but then she realized she had to stay strong for the boys and not let it totally take over her.

Why was that Fusion meeting held at the bar and not at the actual Fusion offices? That was weird to me. But I do like that the company seems to be making a comeback. I like Fusion. I'm glad Greenlee acknowledged how distracted she's been for the last few months due to David's trial, now she says she's back and I hope she really is.

I loved the Greenlee/Kendall scenes. I understood both of their sides in the argument. More Greenlee's side though because it did kind of make sense to me why she wouldn't tell Kendall about the meeting. She thought Kendall had to much going on but really, she doesn't and I think she would have been able to handle it. Yes she's still distraught over Zach's death, but engaging in something like work to distract herself from it could have been great for her. Greenlee thinks Kendall is weaker about this than she really is. And that's understandable since Kendall keeps pushing her away.

This Cara stuff is great. Loved her scenes with everyone. Griffin, Tad, Opal, Angie, Jake, Amanda. So many different character interactions today. I love how heavily Angie's being involved with them to.

Awesome that Liza is David's advocate now! Very interesting, I cannot wait until he finally wakes up. I hope to see him & Liza get closer..

Glad to see some positive praise for the writing. Seems to me people either really HATE Kreizman and Swajeski's style of writing AMC, or enjoy it. I really enjoy their AMC and overall like how they're handling the show. I agree with most of your comments, especially where Ryan/Greenlee/Kendall are concerned. I can't stand RyLee together, I think they are much better when put with other people. Ryan and Madison were fantastic together, as were David & Greenlee. But AMC just can't stop putting Ryan and Greenlee back together and making them out to be the love of each others lives forever and ever. UGH. Kendall is my favorite character EVER and I agree with you, I love how bitchy she's being with Greenlee! I cannot understand their friendship, so I love when they're like this. They should only be frenemies and that's it. After all they've been through with each other, I can never buy them as being best friends.

I fell in love with Annie as a character when she went crazy in 2008. But in 2010 she has really improved as a person and has still maintained being one of the most fun, entertaining characters on the show (IMO). Part of me is intrigued also that her crazy could be coming back, but I also hate it because it's totally draining out all the progress she's made as a person....I wish Annie would stop being so jeoulous of JR/Marissa, and just trust JR when he says he won't get to attached, him & Annie will be together in the end. Doesn't look like it will go that way though...

ITA with you guys about not wanting Annie's crazy to go too far. I hope they keep her somewhat sympathetic in having to deal with this pretending especially when fucking Tad is giving her so much grief for breaking up JR and Marizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzza. Tad is definitely getting on my last nerves right now. Marizzzzzzzzzzza seeking custody of Little A (I refuse to call him AJ) bugs too.

alright, so I've now been officially watching AMC for 7 episodes, and I must say, I think I'm more interested in it than I am in DOOL.

My impressions, love Cara and Griffin, they are definitely my favorite characters right now. Greenlee still looks b*tchy to me, but I'm not sure why...., I really like that Dr. Hubbard; Amanda and Jake are a little boring by themselves; I don't like Tad; (I'll get pummelled for this but) I don't like Erica so far, she feels like a drama queen; I like Kendall, she seems real and not like some others who feel like actors; I feel sorry for Madison, and w/o knowing any backstory, I kindof like her. And I don't know who the guy in the coma is, but for some reason I'm excited for when he comes out of his coma.

And I need to know what Cara's real reason for leaving Jake was! Obviously by Griffin's reaction to her story, she is NOT telling the truth about that.

12/21's writing for Jannie was so bad.

J.R.'s interaction with Marissa was so effing awful. This boring, bland heifer plots with Grandpa Caleb to seriously damages Chandler Enterprises and J.R. doesn't kick that chick out on her her bony ass? He instead sucks up to her and thanks her for "supporting" him? And, this isn't even considering that Marissa kept him away from his son and J.R. has to jump through hoops to make this ridiculous custody suit go away? This storyline and the character's motivations don't make any sense. I really thought that the writers were going to make J.R. come into his own as a Chandler. J.R. Chandler should be out for blood and he should be more than willing to hurt Marissa in the process; instead, he might continue to keep the hotness that is Annie under wraps while he's waxing nostalgic for Marissa? So damn weak and completely unbelievable.

I'm hoping that Marissa is trying to con J.R. and is helping Scott to bring down Chandler and that J.R. is actually angry at Marissa and is scheming ways to bring her down. That's going to be one of the few ways that the writers can redeem the direction this storyline has taken in the last week.

It wouldn't be AMC if they didn't completely destroy a piping hot couple, however, so I won't be surprised if J.R. was actually sincere about his reactions and we get a Jarissa 2.0 pairing while Annie goes batshit insane.

i don't know why they are continuallu killing off David and bringing him back? For what, to sit in jail? Not only that but how will he get out of this one? Who's life can only be saved by his release and back into the ER? If I were V.I. I owuld be so discouraged about my roel at AMC!

I hope on all things holy that Greenlee starts going off her rocker. The woman had multiple hallucinations today; bitch is capable of crazy. The promo after today's show looks promising. Greenlee is about to meddle in Ryan's baby mama drama and it's going to be delicious. I can deal with Rylee if Greenlee is fucking things up on the side.

Jannie continues to be horribly written after 8 months of greatness. Le sigh..... :(

Loved the Hubbards but wanted more time for them.

I liked the scenes with the Kane women. I wasn't a Zendall fan, but I've enjoyed the Kendall grieving storyline, and I'm actually interested in finding out WTF is going to happen with NuBinx and Reese.

Cara and Griffing have inappropriate chemistry. I keep expecting JV and LH to start humping at any moment. I think AMC really messed up by making them relatives but we can't rule out a Gara pairing since Kreizman does really love incest storylines.

Today's episode was great! I love how it focused on the several familys of the show. So glad Asher and Caleb were nowhere in sight.

Pretty strange to me how the Hubbard's celebrated at the police station. WTH? What if a criminal was brought in or something? But I enjoyed them all so much, regardless of that. The Brot/Natalia scene where Angie made them admit to being with each other just made me smile! I loved it! And Brot & Natalia look so beautiful next to each other. I really like them a lot...

Damon wanting to go to college and practice pre-law is nice. lol at Tad thinking it was a joke! And Colby's reaction wasn't nice. She's clearly mad because he's following in her mom's footsteps...I wish she would have just been supportive of him 100%. Man she is a brat! Can't even support Damon when he's finally got his life together and has a clear goal.

I love the latin atmosphere that Cara & Griffin brought to the Martin Christmas party. I think it was a nice touch and I'm glad we are still learning more about them with each episode.

I think Sarah Glendening has much more presence and adds a lot more to the character of Marissa. Definitely an improvement over BA, imo. I liked her debut, but what I don't like is how Marissa & JR are getting closer. The looks JR was giving Marissa and the kiss he gave her on the cheek just irked me. I hate where this is going.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Scott tomorrow, I thought the little scene between Scott & Marissa at the end was cute. Not really a Cosgrove fan, but I think he will do great as Scott. I surprisingly enjoyed him at the end today.

Lol at Annie showing up at Ryan's! I was surprised at how nice Greenlee was being to her. Annie had this look on her face as she was reacting to how Greenlee was treating her, it made me LOL because I was as surprised as she was! I hope AMC isn't done with Greenlee & Annie's rivalry! Oh and lol at Greenlee hallucinating and thinking Annie was Madison standing with Ryan and Emma. The shot of Madison holding a baby and showing it to Ryan was funny to.

AMC needs to stop with the Reese mentions. Bianca and Miranda talking about Reeses Christmas tradition where when you put the angel on the tree, you get to make a wish :eyeroll: Erica asking Bianca if she called Reese, then asking why she wasn't here for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Bianca saying the same thing she always says which is, "Reese had a problem with her project" or something like that. So annoying!! Either bring her back or end this marriage already so Bianca can move on please! This has been going on for half a year.

Kendall's going to break my heart tomorrow with Father Clarence. Zach leaving her a journal documenting his feelings for her is so sweet.
