It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van.

Wow! Good for him. :)
Again, good for him. He has mentioned in the past wanting to move to New Zealand. Whatever makes him happy.
I can't wait for this.
I had wondered for a long time where little Sam Manning was stashed. Now I just don't care. I don't think this show needs anymore kids.
Yay! I love Jeff. He's such a great actor. |

Jeff is a good actor, but like Stephen Nichols, Eden Reigel, Maura West, et al I would never have known if it I was only watching Y&R. Trust MAB and Sheffer to make the story of Nina's lost child into a huge bore. |

That Nicole fantasy sounds hilarious. I think JS's contract is up in May 2011. It seems like he may be thinking of leaving and I wonder if the show thinks that as well the way they are writing him. I would hate him to leave now given they are finally writing him as he should be but it may open up some new and fresh doors for the canvas too. |

I wonder if this is just a contract renegotiation ploy by James Scott. At the Days event in Boston he mentioned that he put off his wedding because all of the costs associated with renovating his new house. I'm not so sure he can afford to just move to another country unless he can rent out the house or sell it but that will be tough with the real estate market today. |

interesting....I'm not sure what I think at the moment about the JS revelations. Happy? Indifferent? idk, I am a little worried abt ratings if he were to leave b/c he seems to have so many fans. But, I can't say that I would particulary miss the man. |

Come on Ron, We are counting on YOU !!

^^I think he knows there is a chance they won't resign him or he sees the writing on the wall now based on the writing for his character and has probably decided to put this out now and state that he would likely move away and drop acting in the future anyway. Seems to me that he wouldn't affect the ratings either, clearly he's been leading the story for a long, long time and this year in particular with the lead in epi counts and the ratings dropping drastically and only got way better when he is being portrayed as the evil ass villain again, then I would say that Days would likely take it's chances and let him go because at least now they don't need a renewal or a crucial ratings period to worry about, they are safe until at least late 2012. If they were EVER going to let him go, now would be the time, IMHO. I am anxious to see that NIcole fantasy. |

^That is true. They're safe for nearly 3years, so if DOOL is worried about the effect his leaving might have on the ratings, now would be the time. Gives them a lot of time to dig themselves out of the ratings whole, if indeed his absence created one. (Plus they've got EJ jr. in training; no doubt Chad will start acting like a Dimera, sooner rather than later). |

I think it would make for a great whodunit on killing of EJ. He loses custody of the kids, then his birthright to Chad, so decides to do a death fake story so that he can frame someone. Who? Depends on how the story goes. Sami would be an obvious choice, but there are others as well. That would be a great swan song. However, his holding off marrying his woman over money is telling. I mean, a wedding does not have to cost a flipping fortune. So it could be a contract ploy. |
