Trent Garrett (Asher-AMC) said: Whether or not it is something I should reveal before the powers that be do, I feel it is only right to be completely honest with #AMC fans. It is with great sadness that I have to confirm that I will not be among the final cast when the show concludes this September. The character of Asher will exit early and I will be filming my final scenes soon. It is with pride that I go out, knowing I met some incredible friends and worked with some of the best daytime has to offer. From my co-stars to the crew behind the scenes, each and every person has made a difference in my life and been stellar to work with and for. I loved my time at All My Children, and the fans are a giant part of that love. The future has endless possibilities and I look forward to seeing what will happen.

This is so sad. Thanks for posting it, Android. I hope all these talented people find jobs quickly once the soap goes off the air. Maybe on to bigger and better things? They sure have the expertise in memorizing their script in a much shorter time frame than those on Prime time shows.
