Disappointed that Shameless got no Emmy love! Sigh. I did hear the amazing Joan Cusack was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama series, though. :) |

I'll be rooting for Game of Thrones, Peter Dinklage, Diane Lane, Cinema Verite, JOHNNY GALECKI (finally!), Michelle Forbes (Guiding Light alum!), Mireille Enos and Josh Charles. Thomas Dekker was ROBBED of a nomination. |

I would have loved to see Sean Bean snare a nomination for Game of Thrones. Love seeing the show and Peter Dinklage on the list. Gotta love all the Modern Family kudos, too. :D |

I wasn't even remotely expecting them to get any nominations, but it still pisses me off how Parenthood remains unrecognized. Most underrated drama series on TV! Mae Whitman, Craig T. Nelson and Lauren Graham should all be up there. |

GO 30 ROCK!! Also...Kristen Wiig (SNL) or Jane Krakowski (30 Rock) better take home the gold in SA in a Comedy..the other 4 (well minus Jane Lynch, she is awesome) are just pretenders (especially the Modern Family ladies...blech). EDIT - Ahhh forgot about Betty White...she is awesome...my above rant is thus totally directed just at Modern Family women..haha Edited by Mitchapalooza, Jul 15 2011, 01:06 PM.

Modern Family...awesome. The Emmys need to consider a Best Cast category so that the kids can get kudos, too. People from the killing...awesome-er. Forbes was amazing in the role, and the other woman was so varied in her performances. Cat Deeley!...awesome-est. It's a longshot, but I really hope she takes it. She's the best reality show host around. |

I agree about a best cast category. There are many shows that the entire cast just works so well together that is why the show is as successful as it is. Shows like Modern Family, Glee, Community have multiple members that deserve the kudos instead of always just a few select actors from a show. Years ago Friends would have fit in her perfectly as well. |
