So who'll be hitting the floor this year? It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van. I've never been a Lakers fan so I doubt I'd vote for Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace, and I'm still not sure what to think of Arquette. Chaz is an interesting addition to the cast. My Current reaction watching DAYS! I will be voting for JR unless he is really bad or Ricki Lake. I want to support my soaps. She takes this very seriously and will vote for either Ricki or Chaz. We have both been inspiried by Chaz. I love me some Nancy Grace but she may have to break away to tell us that Casey Anthony was spotted at Target or something.

Ron Artest will dance with Petra Murgatroyd, who's making her "DWTS" debut. Chaz Bono will partner with Lacey Schwimmer, who finished second last fall with Kyle Massey. Elisabetta Canalis dances with newcomer Val Chmerkovskiy, Maksim's younger brother. Kristin Cavallari is paired up with Mark Ballas, who danced with Chelsea Kane last season. Nancy Grace partners with another new professional, Tristan MacManus. Rob Kardashian gets two-time champ Cheryl Burke as his partner. Carson Kressley is paired with Anna Trebunskaya. Ricki Lake will dance with Derek Hough, who won with Jennifer Grey last fall. J.R. Martinez will dance with Karina Smirnoff, who made the semifinals in the spring with Ralph Macchio. Just sayin' ... Chaz, JR, and Carson will probably be middle of the pack. Hope and Maks could easily win. Derek and Ricki will probably be good together. David and Kym will probably do well. What am I basing my predictions on? Past seasons and the pros. Newbie pros don't really go far, especially paired with someone unlikable or unknown. Reality stars and nobody models don't last too long, even if they're decent.

As usual, I am disappointed with the cast. I always go "blah" at the cast but end up liking a few as the season goes on. I have no idea who several of these people are though. Only people I definitely like are Ricki and Carson ... not sure how I'll feel once everyone dances. I know if I am scheduled to work on Monday nights, I won't be mad. Just kind of whatever about it.
