Who's the hero – who's the threat? When MIA Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody returns home to a hero's welcome after eight years in enemy confinement, brilliant but volatile CIA agent Carrie Mathison isn't buying his story. She believes that Brody has been turned and is now working for Al Qaeda. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse with nothing short of American national security at stake. Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin star in the provocative, suspenseful new Showtime Original Series HOMELAND, from Executive Producers of 24. |

I'll be watching too. It looks very good but it doesn't look like the type of show that has wheels to take it past season 1 (a lot of Showtime shows are like this - The Big C, Episodes etc.). |

Question: I’m wondering if there’s anything you can tell us about the new Showtime series Homeland. I just watched the pilot and I think its the best new show I’ve seen in a while. –Charley Ausiello: You have very good taste, Charley. I’m three episodes in and it’s by far my favorite new drama of the fall. It mixes the thrilling conspiracy-fueled intrigue of 24 with the methodically paced suspense of The Killing. And the performances are stunning. Claire Danes is sensational as a mentally unstable CIA agent — a character I’m pretty sure will turn out to be the love child of Jack Bauer and Nurse Jackie. The real revelation, however, is V‘s Morena Baccarin as the deeply conflicted wife of a suspected terrorist (played by the also fantastic Damian Lewis). It’s hard to believe this is the same actress who last season devoured a 14-inch white rat. |

That was a great red herring with Sal and the polygraph. I'm thinking Brody and the blond chick are on some secret mission, maybe with the FBI and that's why the CIA doesn't know anything? I really want the son to want Mike as his father and start to push them together. That might be too soap opera, but I don;t care. Sarah and Brody don't gel for me at all. |

I'm convinced Brody isn't the mole. I think it's Saul. |

I'm watching this show, its really gripping. I think the plot is fairly linear and don't expect any shocks or twists. For me, the attraction is the complexity of the characters who are fuzzy around the edges - How far has Brody been turned and what lengths will he go to to hide it until he doesn't have to? Just how unhinged is Carrie and what exactly won't she do to prove her case? etc.
If Saul was the mole, surely he would be more supportive in Carrie's endeavours to prove it? It would be much easier for Saul to deflect attention to Brody if Saul was in fact the mole. But he only begrudgingly supports Carrie after she nags him to infinity and even then he often shoots her down. Or is that too obvious? I do think there is more to Saul than has been revealed. He could be a mole/traitor as well, but I think Brody is most definitely. |

Meh, so the entire first half season was a red herring. shark. jump. Whatever, I still think Brody was turned. But there goes my theory about this show having few twists lol. I'll still watch but I am bitterly disapointed. |

I just couldn't believe the show got to this point so soon..I was definitely not expecting this reveal last night...But I must say i was on the edge of my seat..Really looking forward to the remainder of the season. Love this show. |

Love this show. I can not miss a week. If I miss on Sunday I make sure I watch during the week. I bought Showtime just for this show because I saw the first show early and thought it was going to be a great show. Has not disappointed. |
