I'll have to catch up on this season. Haven't really tuned in at all.

I still think they made a mistake killing Rex so soon. They could have played up Rex and Bree for so many more seasons.

I'm catching up now. Am floored that Orson is back in the picture! Didn't see this coming! Excellent twist.

I can't believe there are only seven more episodes until the series finale! :'( I'm gonna miss this show so much. I've always loved the crazy plots...so much fun!

Anyway, about this episode. I agree, LPS...I loved it, too! :D Crazy Orson is back. And I totally guessed that he knew all about Bree's life and what she and the girls had done when he kept trying to keep them away from each other, and as soon as he mentioned that he could drive again, I knew that he was behind the notes and that he was responsible for killing the detective. Crazy ass! What in the world does he have planned for her?

And LOL about the twist of Porter fathering Julie's baby. I totally didn't see that one coming, but I loved it. Lynette had the BEST dialogue in these scenes. All Porter knows how to eat are frozen waffles and only being interested if Julie gave birth to a video game. OMG! LMAO!! So hilarious! That was definitely the funniest stuff in this episode.

Heartbreaking stuff with Karen and Roy. :( I heard that a major character is supposed to die before this show goes off the air, and now I bet it's Karen with the news that her cancer has spread to her brain. So sad! It's going to be awful if she is the one who dies.
Orson is HARDCORE! But when you lie like that, isn't it too easy for Bree to find out?
I like Crazy Orson as much as the next viewer, but couldn't he have divided the girls with the touch of a master, without lies but, just the same, distancing Bree from the girls and isolating her to himself?

Karen and Roy better not split up. There's just something about soulmate love that gets to me. Especially when it's the "second time around" like Karen and Roy are, in their old age. I HATE Gabi for effectively splitting them up. (Who would have guessed that Gabi, of all people, would be responsible for THEIR split?) This is ridiculous. This is probably the story that tugs at my heartstrings more than any other on the show right now. But DH is definitely BACK. You can tell they're going to go out with a bang!

Question, though: Do we think Orson will kill Bree? Is that his plan?
Also, is there ANY way possible that Rex could have not died? I'd hate to think that Bree will be without a mate when the series ends.

I figured it was Orson leaving the notes a while ago. Who else from Wisteria Lane would leave fancy notes in a mailbox besides Bree? It's a shame, I wanted Orson and Bree together in the end.

I figure he plans on sending her to prison, the way she sent him to prison. He probably views Bree as a major hypocrite and thinks he deserves revenge.

It is a shame. I'm a Bree/Orson shipper too. They're PERFECT for each other.
It's wrong to ruin his character this way.
I'll only accept it if Bree forgives him and realizes she did crazy things too. (The whole slutfest at the bar.) She can kind of find common ground with him that way, and their love will still stand a chance. Either that, or Rex is really alive. I have to believe one or the other will work.

Jake & Marley ~ Jarley <333

GOOD episode tonight, but at the same time, I hated it. HATE that Mike was killed off. :'( :'( :'( I knew it was coming since it was revealed during the trial a few days ago, but it didn't make it any less shocking to see it actually happen. I really loved Susan and Mike and hate that they won't get a happy ending now. Looks like Susan's going to get a depressing ending on this show instead. :-/ It just sucks. I guess I understand why the show wanted a big plot development like this with the show wrapping in a few weeks, but I still wish they hadn't gone in this direction. It's going to be awful not seeing Mike in these last few episodes. Ugh!

So are all the Desperate Housewives going to end up in jail in the last episode, a la Seinfeld??? LOL!

I'm starting to wonder. With Mike's shocking death and Tom telling Lynnette last night he was happy without her, and it looks like Gabby and Carlos are wanting different things I'm thinking they might make them all single in the end.

I cried so hard last night, and I was never a huge Mike Delfino fan. It was the flashbacks that did me in.

I agree, the flashbacks were AMAZING! The show did an excellent job editing that together. It just made those last moments even more incredibly sad. :tears:

I did read James Denton is in next week's episode for the funeral scenes where he's lying in a casket :tears: and said he shot some new flashback scenes as well, so it looks like we're going to get more flashbacks next week, too. SAD!!! :'(

I'm glad Bree and Orson are done. I thought they sucked! Talk about BORING!

I'm kind of pissed about them killing Mike. They expanded long ass Mike-Susan torn apart love storyline, and they kill him off before the finale?

One of the best episodes in a long time. They did a good job with Mike's final scenes. As much as I hate Susan and Mike, I was actually kind of sad.

As I said on another board, the REALLY perfect ending would have been Mike using Susan as a shield.

The last two minutes of the show REALLY got me. I had a sinking feeling that it was going to be Mike (I hadn't read ANY spoilers), but I loved how throughout the episode they teased who was going to die by putting various characters in life-and-death situations (even though I knew no one would bite it until the end of the episode). For a hot minute when they had the camera do that slow motion zoom in as if it were following the track of the bullet, I almost thought they were going to have it miss Mike and hit Susan (which would have DEFINITELY been a shocker). The flashback sequence (Mike's life flashing before his eyes, essentially) didn't make things clear, either, because it could've applied to either character. Even so, when Mike went down, I lost it. Seriously ugly cries. That whole sequence was just REALLY well done. IMO, DH has been EXTREMELY good this season.

What a stupid, idiotic move to kill off the best male character on the show!! DH should've killed off Tom, Carlos or Jane.

I was hoping it would be Susan, but they went obvious instead. Not unexpected. Karen and Roy remain the best part of this show.

I was really hoping that Lynette was going to let Jane die. What an annoying character. I'm going to sort of defend Susan. IMO, she's actually been tolerable this season. I wouldn't really want her dead (for now).

Damn! They killed off Mike?

What's with all these shows killing off major characters lately?

I don't know if you still watch The Walking Dead or not, but...

Yes, I watched that this morning. I knew that had to be coming because the character was killed off LONG before this point in the comic book. Also, I saw a pic of the character in zombie makeup weeks ago, so I had a suspicion. I didn't think it would go down like it did, so that was shocking. LAST week's was a shocker for me, though.

Oh, that's right. I remember you saying that before. Still, I never thought the show would have the balls enough to kill him off. Not only him, but Dale!

Who killed Mike on DH?
