I watched that this morning. I knew that had to be coming because the character was killed off LONG before this point in the comic book.
Oh, that's right. I remember you saying that before. Still, I never thought the show would have the balls enough to kill him off. Not only him, but Dale!

Who killed Mike on DH?
The loanshark guy.

I thought they did a good job with Mike's funeral last night. I'll be honest i got a little misty-eyed when Vanessa Williams sang Amazing Grace I thought it was really beautiful and touching. Also, I'm glad Lynette came to her senses and decided to try to get Tom back too! Jane is such a bitch!

Mike's death was cool. I did not see it coming. I guess he spoiled it in an interview two weeks ago. I actually thought it was going to be Carlos when he went up on that roof! Or The neighbor with cancer.

I know it is time for DH to go, and I won't really miss it. I haven't watched the last four seasons. I watched them in preparation for this one, but I didn't watch week to week, but I mean...I did love this show once upon a time. And I'm glad it is having a good last season.

I thought it was a decent finale. I havent watched this show since the first year though.

But I think there are certain songs that just become so identified with a TV moment that for others to try and use them is always doomed to fail. Case in point:

I didn't know it was identified with anything other than Johnny Mathis. I never watched X-Files. Not sure I've ever even seen an episode.

Blah....it was okay.

I hate Bree and that boring ass attorney. She was best with Rex or that English Detective. If I was Bree, I would have thrown Renee's ass out of my party. Judas, LOL.

I hate Lynette and her husband. She's still a shrew and he's a baby.

Gabby and Carlos were my fave couple, but their ending was cheesy.

I did like Susan's ending. I'm glad they didn't pair her off. She came across as strong and more mature. I kind of wish her daughter (who I hate) ended up with Lynette's son.

The ending was kind of creepy.

Mrs. McClusky really helped the ending.

I don't think so. I got the impression that it was one of those "the stories go on" just not with the same characters we grew to love. I had mix feelings about DH in the later years, but it did change the face of television, especially at ABC when they needed it. I thought the finale was well done.

I liked it. I just thought it was a little weird that these women have lived on this street together, as stay at home housewives for 20+ years and never did much professionally. Then all of a sudden in their late 40's they get a famous talkshow and live in a mansion in hollywood, become CEO in NY with a fancy penthouse, and run for a big congress position of some sort. A bit far fetched IMO

BUT, i loved that Tom and Lynette got back together. They are my favorite couple!! Susan annoys the crap out of me, so I didnt care much what happened to her character, Bree's lawyer romance felt a bit rushed, but I like that she found someone new. Carlos and Gabby always make me smile. Ill miss the show!

The whole two hours was BLAH!

But the last like...90 seconds. LOL. SO GOOD! I loved it. It was so DH. I loved seeing all of the dead people, and I loved the new girl having a secret and locking it up. Some things never change!
