Grimm made Midas into a fairytale too. King Midas and the GoldenTouch.

I don't fault James. He is under a spell. You think him running into the queen and her sending him in the wrong direction and he ends up with Rumple was an accident. The windmill turning was a hypnotic.

Poor James and Mary Margarite.

I agree that the people in Storybook didn't age but now that Emma is there, everything changes.

My last comment is regarding who it is that Snow took away from the Queen. I thought it was her dad. The queen wanted his love but he never really gave it to her because his daughter was already there, he only married her so Snow would have a mother. BUT after seeing the previews, I started to wonder if it is the Sherriff who we all think was the huntsman she sent to the woods with Snow and wanted him to cut out Snow's heart. I am leaning towards him being her lover in the other land and when he didn't kill Snow it was a symbol of her betrayal in her mind, he didn't love her enough.

What occurred to me last night was - are they not aging in the real world? Because it was my understanding that Emma as a baby was sent through the porthole, then not long after - moments? - the curse went into effect and everyone went to the real world ... now Emma has grown up, and everyone else is still the same age? That confuses me.
Time in Storybrook was stopped due to the curse. No aging. The clock tower in town stayed at the same time (the time the curse struck) until Emma came. Now that part of the curse has been broken and time is now running, the clock is now functioning.

Emma aged because she grew up outside of Storybrook.
Ooooh. I missed that! Thanks for explaining, I wondered what Henry smiling at the clock ticking was about ... I guess I missed the scene(s) where that was explained.

Did anyone notice the Midas flub when he introduced his daughter to the king and James? He had called her Kathryn, and I wondered why she was the only one (besides Emma) who had the same name in Storybrook and in the Fairytale. But then later the called her Abigail.
He introduced her as Abigail when I watched....

I still don't get what a Greek mythological character was doing in a show about fairy tale characters?...............

Hmmm, I thought it was odd, so maybe you're right and I just heard wrong. I was watching it online. Prob just me confusing the names.

Once Upon a Time: A Collection of Classic Fairy Tales by the Brothers Grim, as selected by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (Hyperion, $17.99): Last week I decided to give ABC’s new fantasy series, Once Upon a Time, a second look and became an enthusiastic after-the-fact fan. The advance copy of this book, due in stores Dec. 20, magically arrived at my desk the very next day.

Inspired by these selected Grimm classics and other time-honoured tales, the series’ creators, former Lost scribes Kitsis and Horowitz, have bridged the fairy-tale world with our own, doubling up on a stellar cast that includes Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love) and Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting).

This collection is not only a handy viewing reference but offers endless hours of (often literally grim) bedtime reading.

It was really good! I didn't like the sheriff/huntsman dying though. I just realized how hot he is in this episode! It keeps things interesting though.

No matter what you think, I DO love you.

Really enjoyed last night's episode. It's always so much more shocking and intriguing with someone dies! This episode got me sucked back in as I was starting to lose interest in the story.

When Graham started remembering his past, I knew he would be a goner. In the beginning of the episode I was kinda bummed cuz he's a good looking guy but when he started to get all weepy and compassionate I lost interest in him quickstyle, lol. Maybe he'll come back to life down the line, an if done right I'd be okay with it...I mean it is a show about fairytales after all.

Loved the catfight between Regina/Emma. And I thought the Evil Queen was deviously delicious in his episode...love her! I can't wait to find out what Snow did to the Evil Queen to want revenge so badly. Initially I thought it was losing the love of Snow's father but since she orchestrated his death, it must be something else. Oh what was this secret betrayal that turned the Queen into a psycho? Officially intrigued by the show again.

I've been kind of 'meh' on this show, but I think it's gotten a lot better in the last two episodes. Especially this week.

I loved this weeks episode, but I am bummed that Graham is dead :(

I know we're not supposed to root for the bad guys, but Lana Parrila makes me actually feel sorry for Regina/Evil Queen

Catfight was awesome.

Sheriff's death was heartbreaking, pun intended.

I guess it's official now: The mayor remembers everything!

Intrigued about the secret that turned the EQ against Snow. What kind of secret is worth SO much hatred and thirst for revenge?

Nice scene between Graham and little Henry. Thought it was nice how Henry pointed out that Emma owed the Huntsman her life because if he had killed Snow, she (and Henry) wouldn't be there.

I wish I had Ginnifer Goodwin's unbelievably smooth skin.

Also found it pretty funny that all it took was a kiss from Emma for Graham to start remembering. I guess all Emma needs to do is run around, kissing everyone and they'll all remember.

That huge vault of hearts makes me wonder who else's heart the EQ has...

Lastly, someone at TVLine brought up something I had forgotten. In an earlier episode, the mayor warned Emma that she (Emma) would send Graham down a path that would eventually lead to his destruction. And now we know... she meant it, literally.

Me too. I actually really enjoy all three female leads, but I'm loving Lana as Regina/Evil Queen.

Finally caught up on the last few episodes and really enjoyed the run. Even though it was kind of expected I was still sad to see Graham go. I wasn't expecting us to get a reveal that Regina remembers though.

I wasn't expecting Graham to die. I pretty much enjoy all the characters. Last week's eppy was really good.

I'm dying to know how Snow cost Regina her love.

I thought Regina had always known about the other world. She put the spell together so I thought she was always in the know. Though I just think she doesn't know who Emma actually is and how Emma is suppose to be the one to break the spell.

I never doubted that Regina knew who she was and who the others were. She couldn't know who Emma was because she never saw the baby or knew her name. Rumple hasn't divulged that little tidbit yet, although I suspect at some point he will.

I assumed that Regina probably knew, at least remembered something, but I wasn't expecting us to get the reveal at that moment.

I don't know if it's my growing apathy for all things TV-related or because of the show itself, but for whatever reason, I've been losing interest in this show. It's like a complete 180 for me since I was so enthusiastic about this show in the beginning. :-/

David is a DOUCHE. If he had any balls, I want to cut them off. And that dude's alter ego is supposed to be Prince Charming? Psshht. There has to be some kind of mix-up, LoL.
I think it was 'bstreis' who mentioned this, but it's hard to root for David/Mary when Kathryn is so nice. I get that it's because of their previous lives, but I don't think that's a good enough reason to root for them; I need more than that. I love Snow White/Prince Charming together, but hate Mary/David!

The kid that played the little Gepetto is so much more likable than Henry. If I ever praised Henry before, I take it all back now. That kid is such an irritating little motherfucker! Seriously, I think they should have him die next season. Or at least be in a coma or something. They could have Emma and Regina going all-out in a huge catfight and blaming one another. That would be dramatic, no? No more of the "being-civil-but-secretly-hating-your-guts" crap.

Speaking of catfights, the one they had at the cemetery turned out to be underwhelming. It was like what, one punch each? Lame!

This show needs to bring back Maleficient.

I wasn't sad to see Graham go at all. In fact, I was impatiently waiting for Regina to squeeze that heart!
