No matter what you think, I DO love you.

I think David is a loser. I get the whole Snow/Charming are destined soulmates and I like their story in Fairytale land but in Storybrook they suck. Like really what douche tells his wife he's going to try to make it work and then 45 mins later, he's macking on the girl the can't stop thinking about? Just let Kathrine go if you're not about her anymore...you owe your marriage nothing and it'll be better for her if you just bounce. Them bumping into each other at the coffee house later in the day would have worked better had she not run after him...then it would have been like, no matter how hard they try something keeps pulling them together. But they had to ruin it by him telling Mary Margaret that Kathrine wasn't pregnant then quickly ramming his tongue down her throat...ga-ross.

I did like the Snow/Charming segments though. Snow having to tell Charming she didn't love him and watching the sadness in his eyes...good stuff, then her breaking down quietly as she walked away, more good stuff...and the end with the potion, even better stuff.

It's like you read my mind. I couldn't agree with you more! I just cannot get on board with David/Mary. I don't like Mary when she's around him. She acts like a desperate teenager! I don't find David and Mary cute or romantic at all. David is pretty much stringing both women along. Does Mary know that he promised Kathryn he would try his best to be a good husband or whatever? I mean, seriously. Tonight's episode was even more lame with Mary sneaking off to make out with David. What are they, 15?

I'm not really a fan of the show's episode transitions. They didn't even mention anything about Regina witnessing David and Mary kiss. Yeah, they're probably saving that for later... but I'm probably not going to remember it a couple of weeks from now, lol. They should have immediately continued with where they left off, IMO.
One thing I do like is their transitioning from fairy tale world to Storybrooke. I like how it really does a great job of emphasizing how the two worlds and the characters and their alter egos are connected.

Also, I agree with bstreis re: Snow/Prince from last week. It was sweet and the romantic in me loved it, and it wasn't disgustingly corny. I normally loathe watching actors' pathetic attempts to cry (it just never looks natural enough for me), but they pulled it off. LOVED that there were actual tears coming out of Prince's eyes.

Tonight's episode was okay.

The snakes freaked me out too, Alin. Almost spat out my tea when I saw them. Ick!

Snow White's father annoyed me. He's still in love with his dead wife and admits that he can never truly love the Queen, but the Queen can't have feelings for another man? Um... okay then. Does he want her to kiss his ass and delude herself into thinking he loves her completely? I love that the Queen was fooling everyone, although I do wish we could've seen a less evil side of her for once.

Don't feel sorry for Emma at all. To me, she comes across as smug and self-righteous.

Yay for more Rumpelstiltskin next week. Robert Carlyle is great!

LOL, and I feel the exact opposite. I LOOOOVED them in the last episode, as evidenced by my avatar.   And I think I've watched that ending moment at least 100 times over this past week. :tounge: They're definitely the heart of the show for me, both in the "real" world and in fairytale land. I love watching both of their stories simultaneously play out. And I loved their sweet little moment in tonight's episode. It was hard though going from such a heavy "Snowing" episode to just one scene with them today. I needed more, lol.

But I did really like tonight's episode. I love how each week we get background on a different character and get to watch it play out in Storybrooke and in fairy tale land. Regina/The Queen...what a bitch! I can't stand her! I felt so bad for the Genie having given the Queen his heart only for her to stomp all over it, and then in contrast, in Storybrooke, the exact opposite where it was revealed that Sidney and Regina are working together to set Emma up...I totally didn't see that coming! Terrific episode! I'll never complain about this show because it's by far my favorite on television. I've seen every episode at least twice now, lol, and am looking forward to the next one. Too bad we have to wait for two weeks though. :(

^LOL, you sound just like me when the show first started. :D Like, I was gushing about it all the time and trying to convince everyone I know to watch it. Haha!

But then after like the 6th episode, things started to go downhill for me. I mean, I still enjoy the show, but IDK... my initial excitement just wore off, I guess. Plus Emma and Henry started to get on my nerves more. It's not that I have to like or even invest in a majority of the characters to get into a show. Like look at Revenge for example. I am indifferent to 90% of the characters on that show, but I still love it because of the crazy plots and twists. With OUAT, I'm not really invested in the characters, plus the plot and twists just aren't crazy and entertaining enough for me so it's not one of those shows where I HAVE to watch it live. (I usually watch it OnDemand a week after the episode first airs.) But that's just me. :)

Whoops, I didn't know about next week not having a new episode. Thanks for filling me in.

Also, just wanted to say I love your banner. The colors are gorgeous!

^^^Yep, I totally get where you're coming from. The same thing has happened to me before too, where I loved the first few episodes or the first season of a show and then kind of began to lose interest. I completely understand how that happens. :)

Yeah, no new episode next week because of the Super Bowl I assume. I don't think any of my Sunday night shows are new, so it's going to be one boring night next week for sure.

And thanks for the sweet comments on my banner! :) I absolutely love it, too!

I def didn't understand the random picnic meeting in last night's episode. And I didn't like the pacing at all. Everything seemed all over the place and they had too many characters mixed in at one time. It was hard to just get into the story. I'm so used to them focusing on one story, while somewhat weaving things together but last night you had TheQueen/Mirror/King story (with Emma/Sydney in Storybrook), then they had MaryMargaret/David, MrGold, and the mysterious writer guy just randomly popping in.

I agree with you complete here. I understand they want to focus on the 2 different stories, which works great when they're going back and forth from Fairytale to Storybrook but their consistency in Storybrook with each coming episode is just lacking. The only thing that carries on with each episode is Emma's irritation of Regina and Emma/Henry's super awesome bond :eyeroll: That kid bugs me to no end.

His super kindness in the beginning was already annoying. Not knowing what he could wish for because he already had everything and then wishing that everyone in his kingdom to be happy...I was like, are you for real? Haha. I guess he wasn't because then he became a dick...like why even get a new wife if you're still stuck on your dead one? It's just rude. Which reminded me of David. Then to go on and on about how wonderful his dead wife is while his new wife is sitting at a table away from the king and his daughter...if I were The Evil Queen I'd be pissed too. What a jackass.

Hate her. And last night's only saving grace was having her look like a fool. Come on Emma I saw that from a mile away. We're suppose to believe she's super awesome and yet she falls for that because her hatred clouded her judgement...loser. I know Henry's her son and she only gave him up because she thought she was doing what was best for him but their bonding and carrying on irritates me. I know there is no happy ending for me in this because at the end of the day the good will prevail but I'll keep enjoying the episodes where Regina comes out on top.

^^^I am with you 100% right there. That day can't come soon enough for me, but I'm preparing myself for things to get worse before they get better. But a little victory from the good guys every now and then to piss off Regina will be enough for me...for now. ;)

I think Regina loses a good amount of time. Emma got to be Sheriff and the way Henry is constantly fawning over Emma is a slap in the face to her every episode. I wouldn't mind seeing a softer side of the Evil Queen though. Would love for Regina to have a real ally in Storybrook though, Sidney isn't really an ally. Bring on Maleficent's Storybrook alter-ego to be Regina's frienemy.

Btw Layla, Love your OUAT banner.

^^ Because Regina treats Henry like crap. She sent him to therapy cuz of his book and she knows nothing is wrong with him,she knows everything in the book is true.

I don't want everything to go Emma's way all the time, that would get boring,Regina gets away with ALOT half the time, like murder and cuz if anyone ever stands up to her something happens to them.I love Emma cuz she isn't scared to stand up to the dark, evil bitch.

Gotta admit both actress's bring in terrific performances every week.

I don't see her treating Henry like crap. I mean if my kid started spouting the shit Henry did, I would think there were deeper issues involved and I wouldn't be opposed to having him/her talk to a therapist about it. So she knows what he's saying is true, it would be foolish for her to let him carry on about it and risk exposing her secret.

I get that she's the Evil Queen and it's only because of the curse that she's "happy" in Storybrook while everyone else is "miserable" but I do think she cares about that little snot and isn't just pretending. So for him to turn on her this way because of the book of stories (although true) is hurtful...he's the only mother Henry's known. And honestly Emma going along with Henry regarding his "delusions" is not what's best for him...yeah, his delusions are actually true but Emma still doesn't believe it so why she's going around with a vendetta against Regina based on this little boys stories is beyond me.

^^^I know, right? I totally love them as a couple but talk about awkward!!! I felt so bad for BOTH of them!

Tonight's episode was so kick ass! I LOVED the Belle/Rumple scenes, The Queen/Rumple scenes and the Mr. Gold/Regina scenes. Those jailhouse scenes rocked! And I LOVED the twist at the end with Regina holding Belle hostage in the basement of the hospital. How could I have not seen that coming? It's totally something I should have known given this is The Queen we're talking about. LOL, what an awesome moment it will be when Rumple finds out that The Queen has hidden Belle away all this time...it's gonna be GAME ON! The Queen is vile and I never feel sympathy for her, but I totally felt for Rumple in this episode. Ahhhh, I freakin' love this show...love all the twists and turns in the episodes. For me, it's the fastest hour on television.

Also checked out Twitter tonight, and loved reading writer Jane Espenson's comments as she live tweeted the show. Some interesting tidbits you learn...love that!

SOOOO EXCITED about next week's episode! :cheer: :yahoo: Another Snow/Charming episode. Glad that Kathryn will find out about David/Mary Margaret, but totally think my heart's gonna be broken next week. The fairy tale side of the episode looks terrific, too!!

Good episode last night. I didn't feel sorry for Rumple at all. I know he has trust issues or what not and I still don't know what happened to his kid but he straight up told Belle that he loved his powers more than he loved her - so that's his bad right there and he deserved losing her. If he can't appreciate what he has, he doesn't deserve to have it.

I continue to think David is a douche bag. I mean seriously, first off he just gets them a card...so awesome, and then he mixes them up? What an idiot. One was in a red envelope, the other in a yellow. Red for love, yellow for friendship - I have no idea how he managed to mess that one up. Looking forward to the Charming/Snow scenes for next week and I hope Ariel ends up killing David :P

I like the Rumple/Queen - Regina/Mr Gold dynamic. Two evil characters battling out to be the top dog. Right now, only Rumple seems to have a weakness which is his love for Belle. This rivalry is far more interesting than the Emma/Regina one. I like that they're having past characters in Storybrook interacting with one another, I think it'll help with the fluidity of the show.
