How come Days went down and got a 2.0 two days in a row?
I never seen days get that for a long time that is good i know it went down for the rest of the week but i though there would still be a gain.
Is this really that bad?
I know they went down in women 18 to 49 alot but they held in the other demo and they can easly make up the women 18 to 49 with one good week once more what i am saying the wrirers are making progress they are producing 2.0's now that never happened under DH and look how bad the rest of the soaps have done Days didn't tank that bad.

DAYS did not go down in HH, they got a 1.9, which is the same thing they got last week. The reason they did not go up is because they final rating, is the average of ALL 5 days and you can see DAYS dropped big time from a 2.0 to 1.7 throughout the week.
2.0 + 2.0 + 1.8 + 1.8 + 1.7 = 9.30 / 5 days = 1.86, which was rounded up to the 1.9 they got.

There is no way to look at these ratings and see any positives for DAYS at the end of the day.

Here is what happened on DAYS this week based on highest to lowest viewers:
Tuesday - 2,722,000 - Sami/EJ vow to keep their affair a secret, Will gets advice from Marlena, Patti gives Nicole relationship advice *highest rated*
Monday - 2,618,000 - Jack tells Abby he submitted her paper for a award, Marlena gets accolades in Jacks new story, Brady visits John in jail *highest rated*

Thursday - 2,344,000 - Nicole and Jennifer butt heads on the campaign trail, Will lashes out at Sami, Nicole finds Sami/EJ together
Friday - 2,173,000 - Will destroys Maggie's kitchen after being dumped, Carrie/Austin decide to stay in Salem, Kate comes up with an idea to destroy Madison Whats your opinion about this?
The week started off so well both Monday and Tuesday 2.0's then it dropped i don't remember any action last week so it must of been storyline.
The show is picking up i know it went down in women 18 to 49 but you know they could back what they lost with one good week so i don't think we need to worry about that.

^ They need good writers with good fresh ideas first and foremost before they will ever be hitting 2.0 4 out of 5 days!
This show in its current state is a 1.7/1.8 show...nothing more. DAYS' ratings are clearly reflecting the lack of quality in the overall storytelling.

Hmmm. Well, these aren't as bad as what I was expecting. The biggest issue is the lack of consistency. It's kind of nice to see those 2.0s, though.

I expect the ratings to skyrocket for this week. We got our Abe & Sami scene when Abe/Lexie went to the loft. The Sabe fans will save the show.

I totally agree. TPTB can bring back all the vets they want and build all the new sets they can, but the show will never be top-rated with those over 2.0 ratings on a consistent basis until we get some good writing. We need fresh stories with fun, romance, and adventure. All we are getting, for the most part, is the same sad, dark crappola we got with Dena with a few bright spots thrown in here and there. I don't want to see anymore kidnappings, missing children, shootings, or rapes. I want to see some of the things we were promised--- heroic love, traditional midwestern values, family, and romance. So far, I haven't really seen any of those things happening.

I still want to know how Days can afford this cast! Does anyone know with Soap Net going off the air in the near future, will Days lose money from this? I know they make money from that so with these funds gone, how will this hurt the show? Will it?

They did at with DH and it tanked big time you all that Safe hero love and throwing EJ under the bus all the time we want drama and action as the writers said things that shocked people and the past two or three weeks they did shock us with the Ejami sex and guess the ratings went up not saying they were the main why they did but it helped because those were shocking scenes.

I truly hope we aren't going to get into that whole "this couple was on, so it must have brought up the ratings" garbage again. We have been over and over that so many times before.
The writers didn't promise us shocking drama, they promised us romance, family, traditional midwestern values, and heroic love. That's what I, as a Days viewer was promised, and that's what I want to see. Some drama is fine, but without the other components, it won't make the show better, and that's what this reset was supposed to be all about.

Well that depends on who should be the romantic couples if its the same couples of the lew few years them its going to tank big time its time to change it around because its not working.
