I found this site because, heart broken, I was searching for mp3's of One Life to Live theme song. I truly have a heavy heart because this show is over. I still hold out hope that the other 2 'replacement' shows will tank and that oltl will be given a reprieve, perhaps on another station. I was glad to see TSJ today at the end. I had a gut feeling something like that would happen, as he was an integral part of that show. How they're gonna mesh the oltl people with gh people will be interesting. Everyone still says the writing is on the wall for gh come september when Katie C gets her show. Here's hoping not. I've been watching OLTL since 1971 and today it just felt like a death. Many of my facebook friends think I'm crazy.....

That was a great ending to the show. The last couple of weeks have a been a love letter to the fans of OLTL as well as soap fans in general. RC gave closure as well as left things open that could always start again or carry to GH. Loved the whole Victor is alive at the end. Great twist. Glad they were able to keep it under wraps pretty much to the end.

Teared up when Jessica said "Daddy" when seeing the DNA results was sweet. As a Jessica/Brody fan it was nice to see them have closure yet it still left things up in the open. It might have been random, but it was a nice moment because I never bought either one of them was in love with Natalie/Ford.

Not expecting Cole to be Starr's "bodyguard" but it was a nice touch for their fans as well as fans for that younger group. I will be curious to see Cole not being in PC when Starr shows up there.

LOL at Alison reading the script of OLTL. I too thought it was going to be a twist like St. Elsewhere where it was all a story she made up.

It is bittersweet ending because it is all over. Although I didn't watch for a long time, it was my escape the last couple of years. Thanks OLTL.

Just watched the final episode...it got me all teary-eyed. I am going to miss OLTL dearly, even though I had not watched it in awhile.

Hopefully the Mannings on GH will make mention of the Victor cliffhanger to tie up loose ends.

Loved Todd's line about Blair's bedroom curtains. I never understood their appeal either!

I so wanted to hear Blair sing one last time. Each scene, I was waiting for her to start belting out the OLTL tune.

It was great seeing Langston and Markko again. I'm glad Langston mentioned Ford's death and it's effects.

"I love you, Red!"

Disappointed we didn't see Renee.

It was also great seeing Brody. I thought Mark Lawson finished taping before the others, so that was a nice surprise.

Even though Viki and Clint getting married again makes everything come full circle, I still can't get behind this pairing with Jerry verDorn in the role. There is just no chemisty there. At least we won't have to actually watch them play out their romance. It will be nice to just know Viki and Clint wound up together in the end.

Color me shocked at Allison's mystery friend being Victor! I never expected to see him since Trevor St. John said he wasn't going to be involved in the finale. He got me! I thought the person was going to be Agnes Nixon, who would then "steal" Allison's idea and make it her own or whatever. Great ending/cliffhanger, Carlivati!

I just have to say that with all the spoilers these days always being leaked on the internet I can't believe that OLTL pulled off the TSJ scene without anyone knowing about it. Kudos to them and Trevor for not saying a thing about it. I do wonder if it was a scene he filmed back when he left or if he did it recently.

Apparently, it was filmed 11/10. It had gotten out online that Barbara Garrick, who plays Alison, was filming with a mystery person on that day. All the leaks about it never mentioned who the "mystery person" was so they clearly disguised it in the script and since it was only a scene featuring Garrick and Trevor St. John it was easier to keep it a secret.

I always thought it was weird that TSJ even talked to the press about the rumors because he never seemed to talk much to the press and he usually doesn't comment on speculation like that. I think he was told to do it and to say he hadn't flimed anything because he's always been known to be a straight shooter and they knew people would buy it. Therefore, it would throw people off and protect the cliffhanger.

It also helped that they shot multiple endings for many of the characters including the actual end of the episode so it was hard to keep track of what would be slotted where within the episode and what would be happening.

OLTL did a very good job. This was truly one of the best soap finales, especially when you consider it wasn't just a one episode finale. It was easily a two week finale that tied things up and left things open for the future as well. Brilliant television. Brilliant drama. This is why OLTL was the best soap on TV for the past 5 years and is the only soap that I felt truly got what needed to be done in this day and age to survive and also reach new viewers and also bring viewers back. It always felt current. It embraced it's past without trying to recreate it. It took risks and just tried to write the best stories and best drama. What they did under FV and RC is the formula for success in regards to soaps now. Days had that in 2009 and threw it all away but OLTL had it the past few years, right up until the end, and that is why it went out on top...with so much life left in it, which is a shame. This one hit me pretty hard, pretty much the worst since AW. I really wish I could tune in Monday to see what happens from here :'( .

Anyone seeing the end yesterday will remember that when John went to arrest Todd we saw that Victor Lord Junior was very much alive but being held prisoner by that crazy woman who shot Vicki and almost killed Clint with his delicate heart condition. I just knew Todd didn't commit murder Tea should be ashamed of herself for thinking that he did.

When they did the scene with Alison Perkins voiceover at the top of the show, when they showed the photos on the mantle and I saw Meredith's (Lynn Benesch) picture that was all it took. LB left OLTL in 1973 and I never stopped missing her character. I was hoping that there would at least be "honorable mention" of Dr. Larry (Michael Storm), Carla Hall (Ellen Holly) and even Eileen Seigel (sp?) (Alice Hirson). All in all, a fitting end to a great show. I have serious doubts, however, about the introduction of OLTL characters onto General Hospital. When Another World alums were carted over to As the World Turns, I did not "follow" them. I will not watch "The Sonny Corinthos Show".

Didn't cry, but thought the Allison Perkins "One Life to Live" transcript twist was brilliant!
Though they didn't intend for this to be the finale, having a Mary Alice/desperate Housewives-like voiceover made this episode "special," and helped with their unintended finale problem. I think it worked.

I really didn't care for all the Alison Perkins stuff in the final two weeks at all. Really irritating. Took a lot away from the last week for me. Wanted it to go out on a high note but fell flat.
So sad it's over. Wish someone would pick it up. NBC??? I know, pipe dream.

I found out why it was filmed the way it was straight from the "horse's mouth" so to speak !! When OLTL was finishing up in NOVEMBER everyone needs to remember ..... people from both AMC and OLTL were going to go to the online soap Prospect Park AND that is where they were going to explain the storylines of what happened to ... who and what happened with the cliffhangers that where filmed IN NOVEMBER and SEPTEMBER !!! on both the soaps. However now since in late December and early January the funding and now with the announcement of NO Prospect Park being made we will not find out the cliffhangers of the shows. This was written in the Sunday newspaper 1-15-12 San Antonio, TX.
