If the show is going forward with Rafe cheating with Carrie (whether he knows of Sami cheating or not), I honestly have no idea whether he'll forgive Sami or not ... he does seem too 'white knight' for me to believe he would forgive her for sleeping with his worst enemy (or anyone for that matter), but never say never as the circumstances were extreme. I do however have trouble believing that Sami will forgive him if he cheats with Carrie. It won't matter to Sami one iota that she cheated with EJ; Sami and Carrie's relationship is just too volatile over such a long period and let's face it Sami is one of the most irrational characters in Days history so you know she'd go volcanic. It's more likely she'd end up forgiving him only after burning all her bridges with him, in typical Sami fashion. The only reason I think he'll at least try to get back with her and make the marriage work is because he would have cheated AFTER the vow renewal. When he figures out why Sami wanted to renew her vows so much, he'll feel like crap that he actually couldn't fight the temptation and after renewing his vows to Sami he actually went ahead and cheated. He'll still be pissed at Sami for what she did, but at least she felt she had to 'make it up' somehow in his eyes with the vow renewal. As opposed to Sami who cheated and THEN was convinced that by renewing her vows she'd try to make it all better. We are assuming that he'll cheat before, let's see what happens in the end, but I'm willing to bet that in order to make Sami look a bit better they will go ahead with him cheating before the reveal and then they try to work it out but can't get passed it in the end, when Rafe can't stop thinking about Carrie.

I know that I liked the lashing out at Sami by Will in the beginning, but it's starting to get old. Just fucking tell her what you know man, and get it over it...spill the beans about being gay too while your at it. I just think it's stupid at this point to continue to hold all these secrets while your world is crumbling around you. That goes for Sami and Will both.

I just think it's stupid at this point to continue to hold all these secrets while your world is crumbling around you. That goes for Sami and Will both. I'm tired too...get it over with already. The scenes where Will and Sami are talking are getting to be repetitive with the same dialog. They could bring up more stuff up from the past, but they dont. Its just all one sided. They just gloss over Sami's past by saying "I've done bad stuff." Really? A lot of the dialog is glossed over. That's why so many people liked Nicole's dialog yesterday- she specifically said what a lot of us have been bringing up re: Dr Tan and Jen.

I can't see Rafe with any other woman currently on Days. Someone mentioned Nicole has chemistry with everyone, true, but still I wouldn't wish Rafe on her. Time for Rafe to move on, Sami doesn't need him anymore. Okay, maybe Billie. Carrie will have her fun, but I don't see her sticking around town with him on her arm. Maybe they could leave town together? That works for me!
Neither can I which is exactly why I said if they wanted to pair him with someone in a serious long-term relationship, they would have brought someone in, but instead they put him with Sami's sister to cause trouble with Carrie and Sami. Billie-- I can see her with Jack or Daniel; she's too old for Rafe. Whenever a man is in a relationship with Sami they don't get very far when they are away from that relationship. I'm telling you there are YEARS, and YEARS of history that proves this. They don't get paired with anyone that makes sense, they always get paired with people who are with others. It happens ALL THE TIME. They either end up being the losers in love (Lucas, EJ) or they end up being the cheaters (Brandon, maybe Rafe). But viability in a relationship they never have after they are done with Sami. It's like a curse or something.

I hope they devote more than 5 minutes to Jack's scenes. The John/Brady/Abby scenes should be secondary.

Abe is so getting in over his head setting up EJ at a kid's b day party. I predict this will backfire terribly and him an Jenn will suffer the wrath of Nicole as well as The Dimera's.

http://blog.soapoperafan.com/2012/01/days-of-our-lives-spoilers-for-january-23-27/Getting underhanded. Since it didn’t work out the first time they broke up, Daniel and Jenn do it yet again to make sure it takes. Meanwhile, Jack is off with Marlena. She takes him through a special therapy session to deal with his post-traumatic stress disorder. From the spoiler I hope it means that Dr. Dan tries to push Jennifer back to Jack, with a lot of blah, blah, blah. There really is no one else on canvas that could really do this right now accept Dan or Marlena, and that would mean Jen would have to go to therapy first. In a strange twist, I want Dan to help Jennifer, have him explain to her that Jack is a great guy, trying hard to change, that Jack loves her, she loves Jack and to give him a chance, to work on their issues, see a therapist etc. Tell her that what they had was great, but maybe was only love on the rebound, (after thinking what Nicole said to him), they were there for each other when it counted, but now things are different and he is leaving to give her a chance to make things right, something she didn't get since Jack came back. TPTB will have to continue with the 'Divine Saviour of Salem" persona for Dr. D, b/c is fits well here, and when Dan comes back, hopefully he'll be a changed man. I am really hoping Jack's PTSD session with the vets is very enlightening. TPTB mentioned this spoiler a long time ago, but not a lot of hype has been made surrounding it. I am hoping, it is the feature of the epi and that there is a lot of time devoted to Jack introspection and realisation of what his last year has really been about and what it means to his future. This is the point where TPTB, will have a huge chance to swing the storyline around for JnJ. It will be very telling, especially, since it is leading up to Feb. sweeps. From the 2012 Preview Thread, where it mentions 'one of them is ready and the other doesn't think it is quite right', I am now thinking it is Jen ready and Jack is hesitant.

I am not saying Rafe is a known cheater or a womanizer.
But, I am saying it is possible for a man to develop lustful feelings for another woman, while loving another. It happens all the time in the real world and the soap world. So far we dont even know exactly how this will play out. All we know is Carrie and Rafe are starting to find each other attractive. Neither claim to love the other, no sex has happened, nothing. Just two people noticing each other. My bet would be Rafe will start to feel very very guilty about even thinking about Carrie.
And I do think the scenes with the porn music and the thermostat were very much contrived. I think there was a better way the writers could have gotten their point across with those cafe scenes
EDIT: The quoted post is missing(not sure what i clicked on wrong LOL), but this was in response to Magicsteacher, Hamilton, and Hopeless Romantic up above. I agree it is very possible,,considering that it does happen in real life as well. I did think that the music was a bit too much though, why do they always use that with couples? I thought their chemistry shined, without the music.

I think he eventually will forgive that, but it will take more time and by then, Sami and Lucas may be getting close and voila, we have the Safe/Lumi triangle.

At this point, the SL needs a twist and I do not think that Jennifer is going ot continue on the same path, Dan and Jack neither. I think this is where the "life throughs you a curve" things Jack say. Basically, when one door closes and another opens, instead Jacks uses the words 'dots'. I think Dannifer's convo will be very interesting. Even, if Dr. D returns and vies for another chance with Jennifer, the dreamer in me says, it will be too late. If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be. I am still rooting for JnJ. :cheer:

I love how Sami is getting a kick out of scheming again. That made my heart pitter patter just a smidge. I've actually been enjoying her lately so this is another step in the right direction of Scami Sami, IMO.

He told Jen and Jack that he was out of the race but before leaving he kissed Jennifer. I don't see Daniel handing his "prize" to Jack. He did tell her before that she loves Jack but that was before he knew Jack was walking away. The way he was looking at Jennifer yesterday and how he spied on her and Jack....he's not quitting. If anything he'll come back from his trip having decided to fight for Jennifer again....for the 75th time. :eyeroll:
Having Jennifer dutifully wait for Dr. D to return is going to be way too boring. :cheer: I don't want Jack and Jennifer reuniting that quickly. Let her chase him for a couple of months. We know from Missy's tweet that Jennifer and Daniel do share scenes when he returns. We also know that Jack is slowly but surely pulling away from Jennifer but she has her head too far up Dan's posterior to notice. I want to see Jack close off from her. To try and move on with his life, possibly with Nicole. Let Jennifer see what she's lost. I want Jennifer to go crawling to him this time, not the other way around.

To be honest, even a couple months is too quick of a reunion for me. I think we'll see more of Jack and new storylines for Jack, possibly a friendship with Nicole. I think the fact that Jennifer never even touched Jack with a word the other day during her confrontation with Jen foreshadows a possible near-future friendship..hopefully romance for Jacole.

Well Nicole brought both Jack and Daniel up and Jennifer was visibly upset by it. But I do hope for a possible friendship with Jack/Nicole in the future. And maybe after Nicole learns about EJ's affair with Sami, her and Jack could grow closer over the betrayal of their spouses.

I am totally for a JnJ long haul reunion. I fully expect a year of them piddling around one another, so at least nothing until November 2012 sweeps, anything less than this, would be way too soon. If Jen & Dan 'hook up' even longer. Jacole as friends yes, Jillie as friends yes, but nothing more. I want confident, sauve, sexy and sophistocated Jack back, but this maybe unrealistic, since his return and PTSD. Wondering if the vet epi is going to be the last of this SL or if will continue? TPTB have put the John embezzlement SL aside for now, so I can only assume the worse.
