It had been a wonderful evening and what I needed now, to give it the perfect ending, was a little of the Ludwig Van.

Whoa. Casey Abrams has some hair on him. :P Stefano sounds exactly the same as he did last year. Very karaoke. *mute* |

That Queen tribute band was pretty good. That TMZ segment is always funny. Glad they brought it back. I loved the Skylar/Colton stuff and Nigel's little appearance. Seems Elise is aware of how bad she's come off at times with her asking about how she can make sure she's not taken the wrong way since she always looks mad when she doesn't smile. At least she is trying to help herself. Glad we at least get some Jimmy this week. I sort of agree with him on Elise's first song although she did sing it well and I do agree the three heads behind Jessica was freaky but she sang the song ok too. I don't think it was a lock that Jessica was safe given her position in the performance order last night and the fact she sang Bohemian Rhapsody. I wouldn't have been shocked if she was bottom 3. Elise needs to stop with the whole "I can't win with these people" stuff. I like her and I'm glad she's being respectful mostly but it's getting old. She would be better keeping her mouth shut. I think Elise may be going home. I didn't see Ryan or Nigel tweet about a shock tonight. Casey looks awful with that damn hair. Stefano's song is catchy but you can the autotune was out in full force and he was clearly lip synching at times. I think it could do well though. That kind of stuff sells nowadays. |

Hollie is in the Bottom 3. Josh (I really enjoyed his performances last night.) is safe. |

Ugh. Joshua should've been bottom 3 and not Hollie. Whatever. I'm cool as long as Hollie does not go home off last night. Still think Elise will go. I think Skylar may be bottom 3 even though Philip should be and should be going home. |

Yup. I didn't want to say anything bad about his hair (because it is a religious thing for him) but I agree. It didn't look great. |

I didn't like Skylar's version of The Show Must Go On. It sounded very pitchy to me. What Freddie Mercury created with that song was amazing. It was layered and had texture. What Skylar did to it made my ears hurt. Phillip is Phillip. What can I say? I don't care about him at all. |

Skylar is in the bottom 3. Phillip is safe. Now Skylar is safe. So it's between Hollie and Elise. |

Wow...Skylar in bottom 3 over Philip? Yeah...completely unfair. Glad Skylar is safe though. Philip should be at least bottom 3 after that shit last night. |

Ah, ok. Didn't know that. Now I feel bad. Skylar was off last night. She had a hoarse voice. At least she is safe, I really hope Philip gets picked off soon. He can't make the finale. He just can't. |

As much as I enjoy Elise's vocals, I won't miss her too much if she leaves tonight. She's not suited for this show. She's IMO too good for AI. I would've loved to see her on The Voice instead. |

I hate Elise left but better here than Hollie. The judges have no right to stand, especially Randy. He was awful to her. They can't rush Elise off the show fast enough. Must be afraid she's going to rip into people. Glad she mentioned in her goodbye package that she will miss the other Idols. There was rumors that no one liked her or that she didn't like them. Liked them all wanting to stand with the bottom 2 before the elimination too. That was nice and shows how close they all are. |

Nice. Elise going out doing one of my favorite performances of hers. I have to admit, it still freaks me out when I her a girl sing the lyric "I'm gonna give you every inch of my love" LOL! |

I think it was hard for Elise due to the age/experience gap. Other than being on AI and liking to sing there may not have been much common ground. I knew most of the Queen songs though some of them I learned from when they did the same theme in season 5. The Show Must Go On is supposedly about Freddie Mercury dealing with his HIV/AIDS diagnosis, so Skylar singing it the way she did was slightly odd. I'm wondering what the theme is for next week... |

That's funny, because I did the exact opposite, LOL. I hadn't watched the show in weeks, and only tuned in last night because of Queen. Once the first round was over, I turned off the TV. Haha! -- I agree with Zoe re: Skylar's cover of 'Show Must Go On'. She sounded nasally. I don't remember if that's just her sound/style or it was just a bad performance. Both her and Jessica's Queen performances lacked the emotion and intensity that was in the original version. Jessica's performance came off as shallow and a bit... phony. AGT's Prince Poppycock's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' was better. The only person who I felt did Freddie Mercury justice was Elise. It was awesome that she covered one of my favorite Queen songs. I really dig her smoky voice; it's a shame she's been eliminated. Hollie's 'Save Me' performance was meh. It could've been a lot better. I still like her, and now that Elise is gone, I hope she makes it to the finale. On a slightly random note... I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but from a distance, Elise looks kind of like Christie Clark. :tounge: |

"Bohemian Rhapsody" was just a wrong choice, unless your Freddy himself IMO most people cannot sing that song,it has been known as one of the hardest songs in music to sing,it is pretty much 3 songs rolled into one. Casey,Wth did he do to himself? Edited by Snowing Fan, Apr 26 2012, 10:28 PM.
