Exasperated sigh. I cannot believe this garbage. It's so stupid. The thing that amazes me the most is that there was so much potential for a really good, really angsty and emotional Jack and Jennifer story. I was sooo excited. I thought maybe. Maybe we'd get a good story for Jack and Jennifer after the debacle of their second run. But lo and behold---this is worse. Jack and his PTSD/dealing with Jennifer giving up on him interest me, but I almost never get to see that. In fact, we don't get to see him upset by Jennifer's behavior at all. Nope, he understands why Jennifer loves some guy she spent a handful of time with. I don't understand. But Jack does. So I barely see Jack, and they've got me hating to see Jennifer, as she is no longer the character I love, but rather a shallow, indecisive, mewling shadow of Jennifer. I swear, this must be MarDar trying to win a bet. Someone said, with the set up for this story, and all the possible dramatic beats you can play with it, there's no way you can't make something decent out of this. They had to prove otherwise. Honestly, that's the only way I can imagine a writer would take the potential this story had and bring it here. |

Exactly. MR keeps saying that they wuv each other so much so it sounds like they're going to pick up right where they left off when Daniel returns. At this point I don't believe that Jennifer wants to be with Jack. She is just too much of a coward to let him go. Luckily he's started to see the light. |

While Daniel is out trying to 'find himself', Jennifer needs to "get lost" and get the hell out of Salem. I'll even chip in and pick up the tab for her ticket out of Salem. And yeah, Missy, we get it: Jenn just lovvvvvvves Dannyboy. U don't have to shout it out in every friggin interview you're in. Sounds like to me that she's the only one tooting the Dannifer horn. SC ain't saying shit. Even he knows Dannifer is dead on arrrival. |

It's the mewling--good word choice, by the way--that gets to me. And the handwringing. The whole "If only Jack had done this or that, I wouldn't be in this situation and oh so torn." The way Jennifer continually avoids taking responsibility for her own actions and choices, and shifts all of it onto Jack, just makes me want to slap her. Repeatedly. I don't enjoy seeing her, with her bleached hair and equally bleached personality, whimpering over how conflicted she is. Or her sour expression when she's with Jack or her moony expression when she's with Daniel. I would pay money to see someone--other than Nicole, though that smackdown was classic--tell her just how ridiculous she's being and to get over herself. There are so many ways this story could have gone, that would have made sense and not have trashed everyone into the bargain. And every time I thought I knew how things would play out, in accordance with what we knew about the characters and their history, the story veered off in a direction that defied all logic and believability. The only comfort I'm taking from this is that the writers did have Jack walk away--I wasn't sure they'd have the nerve to let Jennifer get double-dumped--and someone did get to tell Jennifer off. And despite all the crap the show and MR are spewing, Daniel will be offscreen for a month. |

OK I think we are being a bit unfair here. I mean if she didn't tell us in every interview that Jennifer was in LOVE with Daniel how would we know? |

I feel the same as you. If you would have told me in September that I would be begging for Jack to walk away from Jennifer never to return I would have called you crazy. In what world do the writers take a character like Jennifer and make despised almost across the board? Someone over there has really mucked up! |

Am i the only one that missed Daniel & Jennifer's wedding? LOL. I must be watching a different soap then, because Jennifer on the show i watch is divorced, torn between two men, and apart of a heated campaign.... |

I find it really interesting that she goes out of her way to say "Jen and Daniel aren't separating!" Like if it were back in the golden JnJ angst days..there's no way that she would give away that they will eventually be reunited, they would want the audience to keep guessing. She's going out of her way to push Daniel/Jenn down our throats possibly for the element of surprise or to throw everyone off. I don't know why she keeps making these comments knowing full well what a negative reaction she gets from her dwindling fanbase. I mean...even if that's the story written for you and you have to play it out....she can do like SC and shut the f*** up and not be the frontrow cheerleader for such an unpopular storyline. |

:D U'd think after hearing it for the 999,999,999,999th time that she'd quit 'selling' the lamed-up Dannifer pairing. Maybe she's thinking if she does it often enough we'll give in and sail away on the 'Dannifer wave of love'. :shame: Nope, keep dreaming Missy. |

Totally. My thoughts exactly. Almost jumped off my chair when I heard that Matt was finally coming back. Couldn't wait to see the magic he and Missy would make on screen when they reunited. At first I was really hopeful..their first few scenes were quite promising..the way she was reaching over and touching his hand, the way they looked at each other...It really felt at first that it WAS a JnJ story and Daniel was inevitably gonna get the shaft. then all of a sudden can't remember when...she turned cold and boring. They lost their spark together... Really dissapointing..poor writing and poor acting on MR part. |

So...does this mean Jennifer will become homicidal or suicidal? Don't all the women who lose Daniel either end up trying to kill themselves or somebody else? |

Now I'm really glad Jack walked away. Because otherwise, I might start worrying that Jen-Jen would poison his coffee, so she could be with Daniel without actually having to choose . . . |

I would hope that they created symmetry/parallels, for a purpose....but I doubt it. Wait, what??? The "stable, reliable" guy is checkin out? The thing that I've always loved about Jennifer is, the combination of feisty and SMART. Old-school Jennifer Rose would see Daniel for who he really is. The guy's single for a reason: he bails EVERY time!!! |

The J&J fan in me is DESTROYED officially...its gone...I have nothing left...my care for their reunion is absolutely and totally gone...I never want Jack to touch Jennifer ever again...I want him to turn on her and NEVER look back....Jennifer no longer can be redeemed in my eyes and now joins the "Characters I hate and want killed painfully" group that includes Taniel/Melacunt and Borat. I also officially CANNOT STAND that bitch Melissa Reeves and I only hope for her swift removal from this show so I don't have to look at her "evangelical" mug for even one more god damned moment! Oh, Mitch, you took JnJ off your banner. Sob. I'm not letting the crap now destroy the beautiful story/characters of the past that I still love. I keep foolishly hoping they'll save Jennifer and bring this around, but if they don't, I'll just disregard all of this out of character garbage. I'll always love the real Jack and Jennifer. Don't they still get to be "once great"? |

Mitch, I feel your pain and anger. If MARDAR, thought that fans were going to wait 6+ months for Jen-Jen to show JnJ, one iota of concern, they were wrong. If MR is not happy with her SL or pairing partner, perhaps it is time for Jen-Jen to be killed off. With TPTB & MR's hacking of a long time character's portrayal, to something that is not remotely recognizable, there will be little chance for redemption in the fans eyes. Jack can be saved, but I just can't stomach MARDAR's insistence of Jennifer's plight. Can you please make them stop this bullshit. Thanks. |
