We're just over a month away till our 3rd annual awards ceremony. Nearly 40 shows have nominations and most will be represented at the show in NYC on Feb. 21. Daytime soap fans gravitate toward the web series that have former daytime stars but I highly recommend checking out some of the other shows as well nominated for best drama or comedy or those featuring nominated stars. It's a great mix from sci-fi to traditional soap to comedy to mockumentary and they're all serialized!
Will have more on this later but the crowd will be a mix of up and coming indie producers, daytime soap alumni, theater actors, primetime stars and more.

We Love Soaps in Association with The SFN presented The 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Tuesday, February 21 in a ceremony held in New York City. The Indie Soap Awards, or ISAs, strive to honor the very best in scripted, serialized programming for the web. This year, the nominees in several categories were divided into comedy and drama.
Bubbles filled the entire theater as Colleen Zenk closed the show. She opened the evening with an original song, "ONLINE!"
RAGGED ISLE, named Best Web Series (Drama) and PRETTY, named Best Web Series (Comedy), each took home three awards.
Full list of winners here:
The telecast will air on The SFN on March 18. It was really a thrilling event with stars from indie soaps, daytime soaps, Broadway and primetime TV.
