You guys were pretty dead on about how sucky today's episode was. Jen's final goodbye actually made my stomach turn. Who is this woman?! And can Brady & Quinn get a room already?
Highlight was Will spitting on the mirror. I love that kid. He and MA are the only actors on Days that give us more then what's on the page.

I like seeing Bo and Hope mix it up with Stefano, but I'm losing interest in Alice's secret. Something, even if it's not the true reveal, needs to happen to keep this interesting. I don't mind it taking time to get to the climax and conclusion of stories, but there needs to be more added to this to keep things interesting.

Abigail interning at Mad World intrigues me. It will bring more interaction for Madison with other characters.

Speaking of Madison, finally something interesting develops in this storyline. Madison's recall of personal problems with Kate makes me think she's going to turn out to be the woman Madison's father ran off with when Madison was younger. And it's been Madison's dream ever since to destroy Kate for ruining her family.

I liked Brady being all protective over Sami once he learned she was a mole. Sami and Brady work much better butting heads, but they are family and it's nice to see them defending one another when they need to despite their differences.

I'm glad Brady and Quinn finally discussed Chloe. That was a huge cloud hanging over them and all it took was a few scenes to settle any differences. I appreciate the writers doing that. If Chloe's forgiven Quinn, then Brady should as well and I'm glad he did.

Quinn and Abigail intrigued me as well.

The scenes at the pub were very well-written. It's so easy to go over the top when writing a story about a character coming out, and DAYS is doing a very good job at avoiding that problem. I hope they go somewhere with Sonny and Dustin. I know this is Will's story, but we should also get to see how confidant Sonny is said to be. We need to see him dating guys and showing Will that it's okay. I liked seeing him talking to Will about it and I hope more develops.

Also, still not seeing much in the lines of chemistry between Will and Sonny. It could be due to the actors not having much chemistry to begin with and since the writing isn't pushing the two together, it's not coming out. I don't know. But any hopes for a pairing with these two aren't in my favor.

Yeah, I have to agree about Brady and Quinn. I forgot to mention that earlier but I'm glad they mentioned the Chloe stuff. It should've been done awhile back but at least they brought it up and wrote a reason in as to why it was brought up now.

I want to know what Madison has planned for Quinn and Quinn and Abigail really interested me too. I like how they are finally utilizing the young cast and also tying them in with the other stories.

Will and Sonny (and Sonny slowly and cautiously letting Will know that his coming out will be OK) are the best things on the screen right now.

The Daniel scenes were nauseating. Daniel looked like he didn't want to be bothered with the weepy morons who acted like a trip out of town meant they'd never hear from him again. Geez, folks. Email, skype, text messaging - it's not like he's going to be off getting tortured in a cave in Afghanistan or something. Of course, good thing for him. I'd hate for that to be the case - Jennifer might yell at him when he returned.

Somewhere in there, I started feeling sorry for SC wondering whether or not he knew exactly what a shitpile he was dealing with.

I not big on the teen scene outside of Will and Sonny, but Gabi and Chad have about a bazillion times more chemistry than Chad and Abby or Chad and Melanie can ever dream of having.

And OMG, can someone just smack Hope for being so effing stupid? How much longer do I have to be put through this craptastic storyline about Alice's secret? And only to have Hope screw us all over by not looking in the box?

:offs:

i, too, was disgusted with the daniel good bye scenes......what a waste. and daniel looked as if he could care less about the whole scene. when daniel returns, he and jennifer better get married, cause i can't see j&j together in any capacity unless jack saves jennifer's life again. Loved the will/sonny brady pub scenes.very realistic.....is madison the new pink power ranger? (her outfit reminded me of the power rangers)...loved brady having sami's back in madison's personal vendetta.

yes some storylines are crappy and some days are snoozeworthy, but i am enjoying days right now.(just a bit)

I think Madison has the worst taste in clothes. What is that shiny silver foil on her dress? She has to be the tackiest dresser on this show.
IIRC, Sarah Brown was a bit heavier back when she was on GH. Weight loss sometimes triggers taste loss for some people. :boobs:

I think that Kate is the stripper that Madison's dad took off with. I'm glad Brady yelled at Madison for using Sami as a mole. Liked the references to history to, although Brady could have mentioned his misdoings in the whole family war.

I so agree. I was just coming to post something like this to this thread. The hatred Madison has for Kate goes way beyond business. It's definitely personal. If Ian Buchanan is coming on to play Madison's dad and if he has a past with Kate, this has got to be it.

BTW, I loved Brady's reaction to Madison clueing him in about Sami/Kate. He's acting more like his father every day.

Actually, this episode isn't nearly as bad as it's being made out to be and I actually enjoyed a great deal of it. Although I have to wonder whether anyone actually thought to LOOK at poor Missy Reeves before they sent her in front of a camera in a SEE THROUGH angora sweater over a sports bra. I thought the script was solid. Today was directed by producer Albert Alarr and written by Richard Culliton (his 1st script in a little over a month).

I have to agree. Although I'm not disgusted enough to not watch an eipsode, I was convinced I'd hate this one and actually fall asleep. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it. I have to admit to disappointment, though, when the safe deposit box wasn't opened. Way to drag this out a bit more.

Wow I am shocked you enjoyed it...I could barely stomach sitting through it.

And I thought the script was HORRENDOUSLY bad...especially considering a Culliton wrote it.

The ONLY intriguing part of the show for me was that tiny scene where Victor is about to tell Daniel SOMETHING about his mother and then stops...only because it gives me hope that Maggie is NOT his mother...thus severing his family ties to ANYONE important!

Yes, the preview for Monday's show with the Victor/Daniel clip had me hoping there would be some big reveal as well. I guess we know one of the SLs for Daniel once he returns.

i feel like Chad and Gabi are being pushed together..and even though i HATE Melanie, i can see Chad with her more then i can see him with Gabi.

Brady pissed me off today. I understand his anger but COME ON..who is he to judge anyways? I would of liked to see Madison be a little more feisty and fire back at him with something cleaver

Daniel's goodbye scenes was just awful, infact i skipped through most of it.. i felt bad for Maggie, there she was bawling her eyes out in front of Daniel and he has this smirk on his face. I just can't take Daniel seriously and I hope he dies on his trip...UGHHH!

did anyone else see that it kinda seems like Kate notices Gabi's crush on Chad? Its almost like she kind of expected Gabi to push Chad to model with her

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no!@!!! MAGGIE is calling the help "cook"? I just don't believe this! Victor is corrupting her! She's just not an elitist uppity bitch like that. So out of character!

-So wrong, but I laughed while MB cried. She just can't do it naturally! Please, make her a soap bitch! The trouble is MB has a classic soap look (circa 1970s) but her heroine looks don't match her soap bitch acting strengths. They need to figure it out or find a happy medium so MB doesn't look ridiculous.

Just have to say how incredibly selfish Jennifer is. Dan says he is leaving and she tells him she knows its because of her ...... don't flatter yourself honey.
