DAYS deserve every last place ratings they get! You give the viewers crap to watch and the viewers will reward you with crappy ratings!

It will be interesting to see the ratings once OLTL is gone. I wonder if any of those fans will check out Days or GH?

Apparently Days is impossible to write for because it continues to sink in the vat of suck.

Based on my foggy memory, history show's there won't be a mass migration (i.e., influx of OLTL fans). IIRC once ATWT, AMC, and GL were cancelled none of the soaps that shared there respective time slot saw a significant increase in viewers.

Days totally deserves to be in last place. There's really nothing to look forward to besides Will's story. It's time to fire
MarDar, they seem to be incapable of writing real stories ! Aside from Will's we get a whole lot of crap...

IMO, it looks like GH got a bump from OLTL. Though hopefully it will improve with RC/FV.

I highly doubt it...history has show those viewers do not go to another soap, they just vanish...look at the GL/ATWT/AMC viewers...where did they all go? None of the remaining soaps got bumps from these shows viewers.

WOW! Days lost a half million viewers from last year at this time and everyone thought Higley's stories were bad. Even tho two other soaps lost viewers, it was no where near what Days lost over the previous year.

Days deserves every last place rating they get. The stories are non existent, and people are tired of watching the same monotonous dialogue day after day. Where is the action? Characters sitting around talking and sipping drinks at the Brady Pub doesn't constitute a story.

Instead of KC bringing in more and more characters, he had better fire Mardar and spend some of those bucks to bring in someone who can write for a soap because they aren't it.

MarDar were handed a silver platter when they came aboard Days. Their show should be outperforming the numbers from before they were here. They should be presenting a show that fans are clamoring for week after week. Instead they consistently lose viewers with their lack of skill. They don't seem to have a grasp on weaving layered stories that move forward with suspense, action and drama. They also have a big problem with not being true to the characters and instead push them along in plot focused scenes.

Keep the characters recognizable and focus on stories that ring true to them.
