I also really enjoyed today's show. The scenes with Carrie/Austin and Sami/Rafe were well written and realistic. Interesting that Carrie and Austin worked out their differences while Rafe left the apartment on a very bad note and Sami was in tears (although if I was stuck with that hairstyle, I'm be crying, too). I'm getting a feeling that Sami and Madison's scheme is not going to work out well; same with Abe and Jennifer. Let's face it, folks, Jennifer Horton Devereaux is NOT going to be able to out-manipulate EJ Dimera!

Will and EJ are making an awesome team. As someone said in an earlier post, he looks much happier when he's hanging out with the Dimeras than when he is at home.

Doug and Julie, how I love you! It makes me happy just to see them on my TV screen. Hopefully, the trip to Africa is a quick one and we'll see them again soon.
I don't think that Carrie and Austin really worked out their differences. Carrie seemed less than thrilled about a date with her husband, and he still seems very frustrated over the situation. Interesting that Carrie was dressed very seductively and was fixing her hair, but didn't have time to have sex with her husband. In the time they argued, they could have had sex.

Gotta agree with you guys. I loved today's episode, I watched every second and cared about stories and characters I didn't care for two weeks ago. It took a longass time but finally I see all the dominos in place and ready to fall hard! Love it.
Abe keeping a big secret from Lexie who is totally going out of her way to support him. Jennifer thinking she's found an upper hand. Yea right

Will. Nicole. EJ = Epic Greatness!!!!
Everything was good today. Well written and nicely directed. Kudos! Looking forward to more.

Also I did crack up at how Jenn couldn't call Abe cuz she was scared to use the phone, thinking it could be tapped. But she can call her friend and tell him she's ready to be shady. Lol

Today was a decent Tuesday episode. Nothing crazy happened, plot/story-wise, but it had the right characters to keep my interest throughout the hour.

I did have that same thought, that in the time Carrie and Austin had their fight they could have had their date night. And although neither looked totally happy, they did find a compromise. I'm sure they are heading for a breakup, although their approach to it is different from Safe's

I thought today was dull.

Everyone looked AWFUL. Obviously, AS looked the most ridiculous. This dress was alright, but it wasn't appropriate and it didn't fit. The whole look was distracting, though. I couldn't take anything she did seriously. AZ's make-up was TERRIBLE. She looked old and tired. Jennifer looked like a stereotypical librarian. I sang Marian the Librarian all through her scenes. KA looked okay, but that neckline really isn't her bff. SSH was glamour as always, but I didn't like her hair either. Lexie was okay. Bad day for women on this show.

I'm really sick of these same ol' same ol' Lexie/EJ scenes. I wish James would play these scenes with at least a hint of irony. I kind of think that's intended, but that's not what he's doing. I think he might be a little lost. This isn't the worst I've seen him (by far) and I'm not even saying he was bad, but I think he'd be a lot better if he had a clue what this character's motivations are supposed to be. There's no consistency in the writing for the character from one day to the next, but if he were playing it with a sense of irony I think it would flow better. I think. LOL...honestly, their scenes are the only ones I could really pay attention to, and I didn't even like them, but I wasn't distracted by anyone's ridiculous look.

I loved loved loved the EJ, Nicole, and Will scenes. They have great chemistry together. Will needs to stay with the Dimeras. He's even better than he was before.

I think this is the week AZ was feeling sick and eventually lost her voice. She tweeted she was unable to sleep hence the tired look. I've seen her in purple makeup before and she usually looks stunning! Something about the scenes seemed truncated from Nicole's perspective. She used a lot of facial expressions to convey what she was thinking maybe she wasn't able to verbalize.

She looked like she wasn't wearing eye makeup.

Peg Bundy is probably upset people are comparing Sami to her, but it is an accurate comparison. Not just in hair, but in general tackiness and horrible parenting, though at least Peg was funny. Run, Rafe, run! Towards Carrie!

PM did look good with his shirt off, though again I am not one who thinks he looks bad in the first place. His goofy voice is the only thing that pains me.

Liked EJ/Nicole/Will--Will does seem happy with the DiMeras--but EJ and Lexie is so boring and repetitive and who the fuck cares? I guess I'm supposed to assume that he was essentially conceding Nicole was right when she told him the other day she thought Lexie cutting him off was serious when he was acting like he didn't give a shit (the attitude I actually preferred), but at this point, I just don't care about Lexie at all. If she had some purpose other than to act as cheerleader for women I hate and get pissed at EJ every time he acts like she expects him to, I might not find her so pointless but she doesn't and I do.

I don't think this is when Ari tweeted about being sick.....that was at the end of Nov-first of Dec., so probably won't show up til around end of Feb. unless they're taping out of order.

I didn't care for the lipstick, it was unflattering for her coloring. She looks best when they play up her eyes, her best feature, and with a lighter, glossier shade of lipstick. I also think the bangs hide her eyes and she looks better without them.

Whoa, chill there, buddy.... Peg Bundy had more class in her money-holding bosom than Scami Bwady could dream of.

I don't believe for a moment that Jennifer has a "reporter friend." She means herself. All the reporters probably turned against her. It would be too risky to be so cozy and give a tip to a partial source like Jennifer. It also would go against reporter ethics, wouldn't it?! Jennifer's a liar. There's no "friend." If there is, I'd like to see that unethical twirp be called out by the DiMera campaign and raked over the coals -- and lose his or her JOB.

IDK if Jennifer's lying, but I've seen nothing on screen to back that up. I'm not sure why reporter ethics would be a big deal here, lol. Bad ethics is kind of the point of the story. The DiMeras could try to call out the reporter, but they made the first unethical move.

Watching Will's corruption is fun! I wish a rich couple would corrupt the hell out of me with all that money! Excellent escapism, MarDar! The lone thing right with this show.

Not the DiMeras call him or her out. But some other, ethical organization or entity. Maybe Abby herself! (Oh wait -- that would be a character driven story...)

Right. But what would the point be? Unless someone is going to out all three of them, it'd be kind of dumb to just out a random reporter they didn't even bother to cast. The bigger transgressors are the people running for mayor.
