I LOVE both couples, BUT, I do not want to see another wedding between these two. It's been done to death! |

The Horton-Deveraux women are starting to spin out of control, both of them lying and scheming to get what they want, and telling themselves they're justified in doing so. This won't end well for either of them--looks like Jack's family is going to need him to step in and save the day, or at least minimize the damage. I don't get why John and Hope being still married is such a big thing, either. Neither appears to have been in their right minds when it occurred, so just annull it, remarry their current spouses, and get on with their lives. Even if this menage produced a secret child, that doesn't have to change the relationship dynamics all that much. It would be an adjustment, but John/Hope wouldn't be the first divorced couple to share a child. Bo and Marlena also have kids from previous marriages. Since one sweeps preview says there will be two marriage proposals in February, we can now add Bo/Hope and John/Marlena to the list of possibles, since they'll have to tie the knot again to be legit. The only one I feel remotely sorry for in the Abby/Austin/Carrie/Rafe/Sami mess is poor, dim, gullible Austin. The unfortunate schlub is guilty only of loving his wife, who's got a roving eye, and trusting the daughter of two friends, who's got her own agenda where he's concerned. Brady/Madison: Eh. Whatever. I didn't mind them at first--they were just two good-looking people who had the hots for each other and are now dating and having lots of sex. Nothing wrong with that, but let's not insist it's more than it is, please. They aren't even close to being a supercouple. None of the above is exactly must-see TV, in my opinion. But TFP. Really interested in finding out what is in these envelopes! Can't wait to see what Stefano learns, and really? ... John and Hope might be married??!!! :omg: How in the world did that happen? This is going to be ONE CRAZY WEEK! I mean, with all of the stuff with Abigail/Austin/Carrie, plus this stuff with John and Hope, the writers didn't seem to be kidding when they said in the Feb. sweeps spoilers that there would be a bombshell dropped everyday. LOL! Well, at least if anything, this show might grab my attention again. |

:whooohooo: We don't even TPTB to tell us should never be together romantically---OR any other way actually!! And that is a very GOOD thing! |

Seriously, the last thing this show needs is another vow renewal for either of these couples. It is just a joke now how many times they do it. |

So back when the Alex North story happened, John and Marlena were actually both married to other people they didn't remember? :eyeroll: This feels like JER's influence coming through. Wasn't there a rumor or an interview to the effect that he wanted Marlena/Roman, Bo/Billie, and John/Hope as endgame back in the late 90's? |

So it looks like Jack's PTSD storyline is getting backburned during a sweeps month yet again. MarDar are fucking idiots. :flipoff: |

I'm all for Jack saving Abby but he needs to let Jennifer fall flat on her ass. He's saved her too many times and what has it ever got him? |

Or that Nicole is his daughter after all this time. That would be an interesting moment at the dinner table. Hey, you have your theories, and I have mine. ;) Edited by JamaicanBeauty7, Jan 29 2012, 12:44 PM.

 ..surely not! Will anyone get to call her out on it afterwards though... considering how much she frowns upon dishonesty these days. |

I much prefer the prospect of Jack saving Abigail. When the shit hits the fan, I wonder if he'll bring up his own past a bit: tell her how he once tried to force someone to love him, with disastrous results, and then he had to face the consequences and make amends to those he'd hurt. Because if Abigail is to remain a viable character and not get shipped off in disgrace, she's going to have to do the same. Because Jack loves Jennifer--little as she deserves it, at this point--I expect him to try to save her ass. However, there may not be much he can do for her. It looks like he's out of the loop where her underhanded tactics are concerned, so he's going to be as shocked as the rest of Salem when her lies are exposed. He can't exactly protect her when he doesn't know the whole story. I'm starting to wonder now if TPTB really are going down the road of having Jennifer lose her marbles, or at least misplace them for a while. Just as many viewers predicted that Jack would have PTSD, based on his erratic behavior and mood swings, even before his first episode in the cabin, it seems increasingly likely that Jennifer's headed for a crack-up because her own behavior hasn't been stable either. She's irrationally angry at Jack, desperately clingy with Daniel, uncharacteristically aggressive towards Nicole, and now atypically authoritarian with Abigail (threatening eviction if she models cosmetics? WTF?). And she's developed this "win-at-all-costs" mentality with Abe--it was her idea to play dirty, not his. And didn't MA tweet a couple of months ago that there were "twists and turns for Jennifer"? Like the "man in the mirror" tweet about Jack, these scenes should be coming down the pike in the not too distant future. Disappointed that there aren't any more spoilers yet about Jack's PTSD storyline--yet another case of those three months ahead really hurting the pacing. On the other hand, maybe a positive response to the vets episode means we'll see Jack with the group again this spring. |

I actually had the same thought about Nicole being Stephano's daughter. Now wouldn't that be interesting! |

JB and Gail you gave me a great chuckle. But I doubt that is what hits Steffy so hard. I really do think somehow it concerns EJ. It has been discussed endlessly but I do wonder if MarDar are purposely trying to make us hate Jennifer. Since Jack returned I have had almost no good feelings towards her. This spoiler about her further devolving into lies and deception does not make her look good either. A good person sticks to his ethics and does not use feeble excuses to lie and cheat. LOL Sami throws out Rafe because he kissed Carrie? That is rich. Wait 'til he finds out about Sami doing the deed all over the DiMera living room with EJ. Hypocrite seems to tepid a word for this gall. I am hoping IB turns out to be Madison's husband and therefore throws a kink into the endless sexathon of Borison. Here's hoping EM got that skin color corrected. Friday he was painful to watch. Hmmm John and Hope married. I can see where this will make for lots of hand-wringing and looking back at the past. Thanks for the spoilers Angie! Edited by pspcindy, Jan 29 2012, 01:21 PM.
