Since when has Jennifer ever said no to Daniel? I'm all for Daniel and Jen-Jen getting engaged If it allows Jack to see Jennifer for who and what she really is then I'm all for it. Edited by LanaluvsBroe, Jan 26 2012, 09:51 PM.

Oh please, please Mardar, not another EJ failed joke of a wedding. The last two were extremely painful  |

Oh, if it's Daniel popping the question, I fully expect Jen-Jen to say yes. To rush into an engagement with a man she really doesn't know all that well and who doesn't know her all that well, either--they both have an idealized vision of each other that bears little resemblance to the actual person--and live to regret it. So let Jennifer get everything she thought she wanted, and then have to cope with the inevitable disillusionment that's coming her way. Because I suspect Doc Dreamy may turn out to be her worst nightmare. Jack will be deeply hurt, of course, but he'll have Marlena and (I hope) his support group to get him through this crisis. He needs to move on from Jennifer in earnest--make a good life and possibly open himself to new romantic possibilities. To become the man he's meant to be, rather than twist himself like a pretzel trying to be the man Jennifer thinks she wants. Because only then is Jennifer likely to realize just what she's lost in him. |

I think this one's going to be super romantic....Bree, Gouda and cave-aged Gruyere all in one! Oh the yummy goodness! May's probably when Nicole will find out. |

I don't even care enough anymore to campaign for new writers again. The show cashed its last cry-wolf ticket in Marlene and Darrell with me. |

I swear they've spent more time throwing hyperbolic good-bye hissyfits for him than he's actually going to BE away! |

I still think the problem is less what they write than who they're forced to write for and prop to the highest heavens. Get rid of Sami, Daniel and Melanie and the show would be perfectly watchable no matter what MarDar churned out. |

That would be an improvement, but it wouldn't fix the fundamental issue with their writing, which, for me, is that nothing happens. |

2 fucking wedding proposals? They are probably related to couples that we don't give a shit about. If I'm wrong and there are SERIOUS, EARTH-SHATTERING consequences stemming from the proposals, I'll gladly punch myself in the face. WHERE IS THE DRAMA?! Jesus Fuck. Fire MarDar -- I hope they're reading. Edited by DaysForever, Jan 26 2012, 11:01 PM.

Anyone missing the days that Corday use to spill it all? I like the vagueness of the spoilers but they could really give a little more you know. |

I'm actually 100% down with this as long as Jennifer says yes. This could actually be pretty good. Jennifer gets her dream (agreed it will be her nightmare), Jack gets to flip shit because it's one thing to say let's just see what happens and a whole other to see your wife whom you were dating a month ago become engaged to the other guy. Then you have Abby who is going to flip shit because of Melanie and because she wanted to punish her dad not see her parents apart for good. It actually reminds me of when Abby got excited when Dan came over to check on Parker and she and Jenn argued about because Jennifer said that Abby doesn't want her to move on but instead punish Jack. I know we won't get JJ back but this could also be more then a minor issue for him and maybe even use it as his refussal to come home. If they go with this they better do it all the way and start Jennifer's fall from grace. :soapbox: |

So the two stories that almost everyone has been in favor of -- and that almost everyone says they want to see more of -- are not even mentioned. No PTSD/Jack and no Will is Gay. Not only that, but there is nothing in these previews that is designed to get hundreds of thousands of viewers to tune in. Not one thing. I think somebody needs to explain to MarDar what "sweeps" means. That's the time when you really want to have big, epic moments that shake up the whole canvas. You know, like a blizzard or huge pile-up on the freeway or a murder mystery -- something that's intense and action-packed, something that grabs the viewers and keeps them tuning in not only during that sweeps month, but beyond. The "Johnny is Missing (and Hiding Under a Table)" story for November that led to the Ejami encounter was close, I guess. But that story got viewer ratings up for about a nanosecond only to see them plummet to all-time lows shortly thereafter. But KC said not to worry, it was all part of the plan and stories would really be kicking into high gear by February. I think somebody needs to explain to KC what "high gear" means. |

Makes me think that the writers didn't know how long SC would be out for. |

Sadly, I think the show has wasted so much money on BLOATING their cast to roughly 30 contractual people in hopes of gaining viewership that they simply have no money left to provide us with such action-packed stories that you've mentioned. |

SO. MUCH. THIS. At least at the end of DH's reign, I cared enough to campaign against her and express my outrage almost daily. Now I don't care about Days at all. The only reason I come to DR is because of the posters. If everybody here would just agree to start posting about a different show that I actually watch, I'd be in heaven. |
