National Enquirer Spoilers
-Rafe won't give up on his marriage.
-Victor appoints a new CEO to Titan.
-Alleged ballot stuffing surrounds the results of the election.
-Abigail tells Carrie about the older man she slept with.
-Brady learns of Madison's connection to Ian.
-EJ has reason to fear that Nicole will learn his secret.
Ballott stuffing? That's a copy of what happened when Doug Williams & Alex Marshall were running for mayor in the 80s!

Well, we now know for sure (quelle surprise) that Ian is Madison's husband and that Brady's dreams of floating down the aisle in a princess dress are not going to come immediately true. Finally, an obstacle, though I'm at the edge of Too Late for Me to Care.

So, how long before Carrie seeks solace from Rafe's nether regions when she figures out the man Abby's lying about screwing (though not kissing) is Austin? Oh, what a tangled web we weave, etc.

Alleged ballot stuffing: who's alleging it? Usually the loser would, but this could be the way EJ and Nicole are setting up Abe looking untrustworthy even if he wins. Maybe they stuff the ballot boxes (Will's going to be BUSY) knowing that even if Abe wins, they can "prove" the election results are invalid.

I wonder if the thing that makes EJ fear the outing of his nasty secret is seeing Will kiss a boy--isn't that supposed to be soon? If Will's already told Sami what he knows AND he's not afraid of his sexuality being outed (presumably), then EJ might feel he has no hold over him.

It is supposed to be on late February according to the TV Guide spoiler.

Well, then maybe not, though "late February" could be relative. Maybe Sami screeches and huffs and puffs over to the DiMansion and says that the only way to win back her son's respect (fat chance) is to come clean about everything and start over with Rafe. By that time she'll have seen Rafe is repentant about kissing Carrie and Will hates her for being such a hypocrite, so any normal non-sociopathic person could well have that reaction. Sami, on the other hand, who knows what that bitch will think; if it doesn't involve feeling sorry for herself and excusing her own actions while accusing others, she doesn't get into it.

Late Feb is not exactly an accurate date. It does look like Will is getting ready to come out. He was going to that party with Sonny's friends. Maybe other people start connecting the pieces like Nicole and mention it to EJ. He also may learn about Safe and Will may tell him that his mother knows about beastsex. Too many people are finding out- that EJ can't control. I would be nervous, especially since some of these people hate him and Nicole.

But won't EJ hold Will shooting him over his head?

Will's already pissed that EJ told Nicole about it so that part of the blackmail relationship is already fractured. Maybe he decides to gamble that EJ doesn't really intend to do anything about it at least as far as the police are concerned. EJ won't say what his evidence is or even how he knows and I do find it odd that so far Will has kept this entirely to himself--no one-sided phone calls to his father, for example. I don't mind them revisiting the shooting and doing what a lot of people thought was the story to begin with, but I wish it had been more compelling. To me it's just lazy to not even know how EJ knows or if he has any compelling evidence or if it's something Will could just laugh at and tell him he's bluffing. I can't take it that seriously, I mean, even Nicole didn't care much and the SPD has shown a notable lack of interest in tracking down anyone who does bodily harm to EJ. Only Nighttime Hope served any time and that was as part of a collection of assaults. If I were Will I'd say go on and tell Uncle Roman and Uncle Bo your silly theories.

Okay, Abby going batshit for Austin is a bit OTT. I think she feels deeply connected to Austin, as her hero, than man who saved her life, not just once, but 2x. (bone marrow donor and the kidnapping). I think it is this type of enamored type love she has for him. The sick and twisted part, is that he is married and she still wants a peice of him. If she outrightly brags to Carrie about sleeping with a man (knowing it is her husband), I don't know... but that too me takes some f'n nerve. I really didn't want to see it played out this way. Abby has never come across this desperate. I put her in the same category at pod-jen, now we have pod-abby. This is totally out of character. Does she really want attention and love from a man twice her age? She never talks about marriage or family. I am not sure why she is doing this? It is demented in a Jan Spears kind of way. Jen and Abby are both going to the nut house. Whoever is planting those Alice clues at the HORTON house is, screwing around with the air and water. Something is just not right.
I think pod characters are MarDar's specialty. We're just suppose to go along with all their stories and not pay any attention to whether the characters are acting true to who they are.

From the spoilers we have to far for the weeks of Feb 6 and Feb 13, it looks like Will's coming out story is taking a small hiatus in order to deal with other stories.

I don't think Will's kiss will happen until the weeks of Feb 20 or 27 which is close to Lucas' return to Salem. Sonny is supposed to witness Will's kiss.

I guess we'll see soon enough.

Maybe. You or I might think that way, but to an emotionally screwed up Will, he might be too scared to tell, period. He may fear what everyone will think about him for doing it, justified or not. He'll be the kid who shot someone (and got away with it).

Will doesn't have to actually tell anyone, he just has to do something to make EJ afraid that he won't care if the shooting secret it out.

In the end, though, I think it's more likely that either Sami is having an attack of conscience and wants to come clean or that Lexie (or someone else) overhears EJ and Will or EJ and Sami or even Will and Sami discussing it. Nothing in Salem would ever get done without eavesdropping.

So Victor names someone to be CEO of Titan. Since Daniel isn't due back until the end of February, it doesn't sound like he'll be the one. And Justin isn't likely to be on our screens for another month or two. So who could it be? Victor hasn't been interacting with anyone except Maggie, the Jonas duo, and Henderson. Unless he names Maggie or Melanie or his butler, the only other person I can think of on canvas with a connection to Victor is Sonny.

Perhaps Victor is the one who brings Ian to town? Maybe it will be revealed that they have a long-standing connection and Victor is the one who brings Ian in to be the new CEO of Titan? Maybe that's already been spoiled and I missed it.

I hope the new CEO of Titan is neither Maggie, nor Melanie :puke: I hope it's Justin.

Wow that's really low. :shame: I'd be loving this if it was Melanie, but I just can't reconcile it with what we know of Abby.
It feels like when they had good Stephanie lose her marbles. The actions just don't fit the character.

I think it's been spoiled that Ian has past connections to Stephano and Victor. I think Victor is in fact the person who brings Ian to town, to be the new CEO of Titan.

I think Paxton mentioned something about challenging the election and the scenario where EJole frame Abe/Jen.

I also think EJole will make it seem like Abe/Jen cheated and they cant deny it because Jen looks determined to win and probably did cheat. EJole are pros at scheming and they will make Jen/Abe look like amateurs. Funny but the conclusion of this election has been the most interesting part of this lackluster SL.

Can't believe we have to wait until Friday the 17th before Stefano opens that envelope! Naturally we won't get to know what's in it until Monday....(if then) But..it makes for a good cliffhanger for the show.

As powerful as Victor is supposed to be, why wouldn't he know about Ian being Madison's husband? If that's so, why is he letting Brady date her? Did I miss something? :huh1:

I think that stupid Jenn does cheat and Ejole catch her and ask for a recount!!!
The sad part is that it probably means that this stupid election story will continue on for another 2 weeks. We all know that EJ will somehow just scrape by and win, raise hell for a few months until he gets caught for the whole John framing thing, and resign in disgrace. Let's get it over with already! :censored:
