Can't believe we have to wait until Friday the 17th before Stefano opens that envelope! Naturally we won't get to know what's in it until Monday....(if then) But..it makes for a good cliffhanger for the show.
You're more optimistic than I am in thinking that the audience will get to hear what's in the letter by that Monday. I'm thinking Days will spend at least a week with Stefano wallowing in whatever it says but us not knowing. I hope I'm wrong.

Friday is gonna be GOOD! :cheer: Looking forward to the problems ahead for John and Hope, and I'm dying to know what's in Stefano's envelope. This story's just getting started and I can't wait to see what happens!

Rafe needs to be back at the SPD or reinstated at the FBI. His character desperately needs to be mixing it up with more characters. Having him trapped in this awful storyline with Carrie is destroying anything that was ever appealing about him. The new writers really should have delved into his history instead and given us more insight into the man. I do think his character has potential to bring more to the show if they would utilize him in a more interesting manner.

I actually thought he was fun when he had some underhanded dealings with Victor against the DiMeras. It'd be cool if they explored that partnership.

Abe and Lexie are sooo screwed. Abe will lose both the election and Lexie. I wonder if she is the one who overhears the scheming talk? Even if she keeps her mouth shut their marriage is toast. either way EJ wins. :cheer:

You know, a lot of us (including myself) can't help but complain about how terrible the show is these days..but I however am just thankful we're finally getting stories, they may not be perfect and there's plenty of shit that doesn't make sense but im done trying to put everything together, I am just gonna try my best to enjoy this because, lets face it..its definitely better then what we were getting last year, and we're lucky that we now have writers that listen to our feedback and actually wanna satisfy the fans

You know wouldn't it be something else if Stefano is a bastard child, and he's not Santos dimera's child, but John is.

I am in favor of Abe and Lexi divorcing for a while, to be honest. Their relationship seems so fake it is cringeworthy. Not to mention that they ruined Theo because he has to be autistic but the child can't reasonably act like an autistic child. Maybe in a couple of years, but not right now.

I think they should go their separate ways for a while. Maybe Lexi could look to a new guy.

If Lexi leaves Abe for this, she sucks butt air. Abe has forgiven her time and time again. A couple of times he just took her right back. So for her to pull the "how could you" act would be very eyeroll worthy. And I love lexie.

I agree. But wouldn't it be so delicious if she did leave him for it? It adds more drama than if she just forgave him.
Imagine: "We'll call it even because I slept with Tek." Ha... not bloody likely. I want fireworks~!

I suspect a separation is in the Carvers' future, at the very least. Although I kind of agree that Abe has forgiven Lexie for things that were just as bad, if not worse, so for her to take a completely unforgiving stance herself would be hypocritical. Still, his dishonesty will rankle, not least because she's been running all over town defending him to her family. Finding out that he was as willing to play dirty as they were is going to be a major disillusionment.

Talking of which, I want to know what repercussions there will be for Jennifer. She's every bit as guilty as Abe, maybe even more so since it sounds like she's the one who makes sure of the final result. When the truth comes out, will she get busted and possibly face charges of election fraud? What kind of hit will her reputation take? What effect will it have on her personal relationships? I'm not just talking about her two erstwhile suitors, either, though I wonder how receptive Dr. Moral High Ground will be to having a girlfriend who fixes elections. And I can't see Jack being that happy with his ex-wife's choices either, mainly because he thought she was too decent a person to be tainted by dirty politics. But what about Jennifer's relationships with Abigail, Bo, Hope, and the rest of the Horton clan? The Horton name apparently means so much in Salem--how will the town react to the news that Alice's granddaughter has become a dirty pol?

Well I'm sure we will eventually learn that Alice predicted all the debate questions ahead of time and put them into Jennifer's Christmas ornament so Jennifer didn't technically steal anything... :)
