Will & Sonny are the only worthwhile scenes (great dialogue here...but they are pretty blatant that Will is clearly gay, you would have to an idiot not to know after this episode that Will was clearly gay)...there is also a scene at the end with Abby and Jack that was pretty wonderful...made me smile.

Also MR was better in this episode, I sorta got the impression that she is highly annoyed with Jennifer's behavior overall...I don't know why, but I felt her frustrations.

Cafe & Bradison scenes =

Jennifer lecturing Abby about her brain power had me rolling. And I LOVE that Abby told her she was done with her drama. As far as Jennifer's incredulousness at Jack being the voice of reason...bite me...he usually is, she just never listens.

Well to be fair, she did sorta say "I am actually listening for once" and MR's delivery of that line made me feel like she is VERY aware at how incredibly pigheaded Jennifer has been...and how un-Jennifer she has been.

So...are we officially in to February sweeps yet?

Because...

Head writer Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas Jr. have planned a huge February Sweeps for Salem. "We drop a bombshell everyday," teases Thomas. "You literally can't miss a day because something big will happen."

I'm getting none of that from this episode. :ermm:

Thanks for the write up, Skye!

Sweeps don't begin until Thursday:

FEBRUARY 2012 February 2 - February 29, 2012
MAY 2012 April 26 - May 23, 2012
JULY 2012 June 28, - July 25, 2012
NOVEMBER 2012 October 25 - November 21, 2012

conversation is very special. I can relate with many of the things Sonny said, I found it very touching because it brought back many personal memories from the period I struggled with myself.

Will is such a lucky guy to have Sonny near him.

Agreed, I was getting teary-eyed just reading the summary! Can't wait to watch it. Will definitely be fast forwarding thru the rest of the show to get to Sonny&Will!

Jen says wow, you are being the voice of reason
he says and you are listening
she says im listening always Jack

Now these are the most important lines between JnJ. Civil, likable, honest and refreshingly soft and straight from the heart. When Jennifer says, 'I'm listening'... there is a slight pause here from Jen before she adds 'always Jack' and this caught my attention. Since when has she always been listening, she done more Jack bitching in the last couple of months, she hasn't had time to listen. Over the years, she may have listened to Jack, but it doesn't mean that she follows what he says. Adding these niceties to her character is very old style Jennifer. The fact that Jack feels like he can hug her and she embraces hiim, when Jen gets emotional about losing gram, daniel and jack,... and now maybe abby... is also very surprising considering the last few months. This type of behavior between the 2 is what most fans were watiing for. Without Daniel in Jen's life, all JnJ needs is a nice little cave and they'd be back on track in a heartbeat. Jennifer was finally showing a little vulnerability......and Jack is going to take full advantage in his not so subtle ways. I can see these nicities staying around and then jen will turn back into unrecgonisable form, when Daniel returns. So what does that tell us??? Wait and see.....

LOL. I don't know why it's being said that this convo or that convo confirms that Will is gay. Wasn't that revelation given to us in the summer of last year? Conversations aside, I still wish that they had shown maybe a flashback to the "turning point" for Will when he started to feel that he was gay. It would help the storyline even more since we can't see Will secretly showing interest in men.

The Will/Sonny convo also seems to negate the theory that Will knows he's gay. He's too busy asking Sonny for all the signs. :eyeroll: Sonny really mentioned some things that I wish we could've seen with Will, such as noticing really cute and studly guys.

Yes, seriously! Even though what played out on screen after the revelation was questionable IMO. Oh I get it, people probably found it all to be questionable just like I did (and I still do believe it or not)! :mutley:

I don't find it to be questionable at all. I think I've made that clear from the beginning, but I was pretty sure you did find it questionable, lol.

I think the Jack/Jen/Abby stuff sounds excellent. Looking forward to it. Though yeah, husband of twenty years and grandmother who was like a mother being lost=significant. Dude with whom Jennifer had a little fling going on vacation=insignificant. But TPTB want it to be significant, so whatever.

I've never thought Will "knew" he was gay anyway, at least not in the sense of openly acknowledging it to himself. It's clear that he's still in denial about it -- not just to other people, but to himself. This story has never been about Will knowing he was gay and hiding it. This story is about realizing who he really is and coming to terms with it. His conversation with Sonny is the clearest sign that he's finally starting to not be able to deny it to himself anymore. Asking Sonny how he knew is perfectly consistent with the idea that Will is finally recognizing some things in himself.

Thank you for remembering! As I said, I still do, ironically perhaps even more after this conversation.

Maybe you didn't think Will knew he was gay but there have been myriads of people all around the net who felt certain he already knew.

I got teary-eyed too and it was just from reading the whole thing. I guess we'll need some Kleenex while watching them. Plenty of people have said that the whole scene is very very emotional.

Will and Sonny's conversation sounds like the best thing about tomorrow's show. Of course, Sonny is lucky enough to have Justin and Adrienne as parents; Samantha Gene being Will's DNA contributor is problematic in terms of emotional support. If it doesn't revolve around her ass being kissed and vagina being worshipped, she's not interested.

Sonny is seriously adorable. I wish he and Will were on more often. They have great chemistry.

And thank the soap gods they finally pulled Jennifer's hair out of that horrid bun. She looks like the real Jennifer again. At least for now. Though what is it going to take for them to put a tie on Jack?
