Susan Sarandon has booked a multi-episode arc as Joy, a cancer survivor who befriends Cathy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "She's another cancer survivor who has used her cancer experience in a unique way trying to inspire other people," creator Darlene Hunt tells THR. "She makes Cathy question whether she's doing enough with her own cancer experience." Sarandon played a woman suffering from cancer in the movie "Stepmom," so it won't be her first time channeling a victim of the disease. She join's Victor Garber as one of Season 3's big guest stars. "The Big C" Season 3 premieres Sunday, April 8 on Showtime. Eeek! So excited. The last season wrapped up in September I think. So this is an early surprise! Nothing is impossible. Posts: 8,071 Group: Veteran Member #6,776 Joined: May 8, 2010	I'm still upset they cancelled "United States of Tara". The last season, in my opinion, was the best of the three. It was dark, but I enjoyed it.
