I like Carrie and Rafe, but I'm not buying that moment is what makes them exchange slobber.
Yeah, that was awkward.
LMAO. We are so the same right now. We finally got on the same page. :D
I was honestly expecting something better. But that moment was just all kinds of wrong. No lead up at all. It would have made more sense if it had been when Carrie was upset about her marriage to Austin and Rafe was comforting her.

Sigh. I do feel bad for Sami. I'm not on her side in any of her stories, but I do feel badly for her. I still hope Kate destroys her at CW, though.

It was good...not great, but good show!
CAFE: I really think they missed making them a rootable pairing here. I dont get how they got to the places of lament? Carrie's saying that she feels lonely and disconnected from Austin because of the John thing, but that was settled over a month ago. I get that they're busy but from them to jump from A to some other alphabet is just so stupid. Rafe? HUH? wow...that kiss was just too much for a moment that suppose to call for celebration not "I want to jump your pants." It didnt build up properly.
Will/Sami: CM and his dialog were excellent. I love the point made that he always wanted a complete family and felt that he was the adult in their relationship all along. I loved how he really tried to keep it a secret...to protect his mother from feeling what she made Marlena feel. He had a front row seat all all the times that she would berate her mother yet, he rather him keep the secret then put her in that position. When he relents and tells him the secret....I really wished she would have started to think that he saw beastsex. It would have been so good....she would keep saying..no..no....no...please....no...and Will will counter with just his tears and maybe a nod. Then he'll tell her SAY IT...SAY IT.....and she resists...then he says it and she's crushed. CM wiped the floor with AS. I'm glad she lessen the OTTness, but her reactions have been more outlandish....it was just ok.
EJole/Debate: I love the moment between EJole where she makes him look into her eyes and he lies to her. She was so good, then he sighs and breaks the hold because he cant look into her face with tears....she lets him off the hook by bringing him back and kissing him. OH...that scene was so short but so good....she broke my heart....she knows...
The debate was blah. I can't stand that Jennifer doesnt have a ounce of the Horton guilt. She's busy being all smug and making faces at Nicole. EJ is a charmer but I guess they needed to exaggerate at how out of touch he was towards those questions. The stupid cheating accusation was weak, he should of come up with something better. He's a lawyer and should be prepared for curveballs. I did love Nicole's "you're a contender/Rocky" speech to get him to focus on the debate instead of finding out how he got the wrong questions. Oh Abe and Jen...IT IS ON....EJole are going to play even dirtier...I see EJ buying votes ala Papa Kennedy.
The writers have totally missed making Cafe a rootable couple. They should have had them wait until the reveal was out for them to grow close and kiss like they did. As it is, they were shoved together without really any foundation or build up to make their relationship viable. A month ago Rafe was renewing his vows with Sami, and now he's shoving his tongue down her sister's throat? Stupid. And loved Rafe's line to Carrie that he used to be able to look into Sami's eyes and tell what she was thinking, but not anymore. Truth is if he had spent half the time looking into Sami's eyes as he has Carrie's lately, he WOULD know what Sami was thinking. And if Carrie had spent the same amount of time with her husband as she has playing cards and following Rafe around on stake outs, they wouldn't be having problems. Poor, lazy writing with no basis just to further another of Mardar's plot points.

Oh Jen, that was so, so blatantly insincere. Lexie should know what happened just from how you said that.
Okay that one gay guy is really, really cute.
Aww, Will took the first step.
Whoops, there it is is. Too bad that kiss was so totally contrived as to ruin the moment.

What the heck is going on with EJ's hair? :shame:
I'd post more of my thoughts on this episode, which had it's moments (both good and bad), but I'm tired and the only thing that truly screams out at me is EJ's hair. :shame: He's a couple weeks away from a mullet. It's not quite as bad as the long oily hair, but it could go it's own way.

Wayne broke my heart when he went back to the house alone. He smashed a picture of him and Marlena. Ahhh. He broke my heart!
And when he found out Belle wasn't his daughter...... Ohhhh. That was painful.

Well, I think she's completely at fault, but I do feel bad for her that it all came at her at once. I don't want to feel bad for her, though. Not because I don't like her. I don't want to feel bad for her, because I want to be in disbelief at the ridiculous ways she tries to get out of all of this..but she's not DOING ANYTHING.

I definitely do not feel sorry for Sami. She has absolutely no true empathy, compassion for anyone but herself. In her mind what she did with EJ was just the "grief need" of the moment, not her fault. Her biggest concern with Will's pain is that he not tell anyone, while she gets him to accept her faux pas. Her mother whom she has called a whore on many occasions IS in Sami's mind totally at fault for ruining Sami's childhood, family, and life. Rafe is totally unforgivable for cheating on her, forget what she's done. Sami won't even consider an exit strategy from Madison to get out of CW. Instead, Sami totally goes over to Kate the enemy to take down Madison. Sami is a total nutcase. I can't see what would ever totally devastate her. She's in her own little reality world.

Is Carrie serious? She feels lonely? Every time Austin tries to spend time with her she tells him she's swamped at work then proceeds to go to work and play cards with Rafe. Sorry but I feel no sympathy for Carrie.
The Will and Sami stuff sounds great. And unlike Sami, when Will says his mother was never there for him, it is actually true. Sorry, but I was eating pineapple slices and drinkin gsomething and I nearly died choking when I read your post! You're right! I never thought of it that way. Carrie, more than once, has said she's busy with work. And then we see what REALLY goes on behind closed doors. What a shameless BITCH!!!

Jennifer the perpetual scowler wants Abe to always smile. Jennifer also keeps a headshot of herself on her mantle. That's weird.
You know...I'm with Jennifer on this. I don't see why Abe should be guilty. What he did wasn't that bad at all, IMO. It would have been bad if they were both being legitimately given the questions beforehand, but since the questions Abe switched were stolen anyway, I don't see the big deal. I do think Abe is guilty of cheating. I can see where they could have taken the questions from EJ and given him some fake ones..and then left it at that. They would both be on equal ground, the way it was supposed to be in the first place. But Abe looked at the questions himself and I think that is going to bite him in the butt later on. I'm sure EJ/Nicole would like to find some kind of proof that it happened and then Abe is screwed. Whether EJ meant to do the same thing or not doesn't really matter at this point. Well, it does. But Abe is still the one that carried it out. He cheated. Period. If the public finds that out, he is screwed. Seems like Abe could have turned it around and proved that EJ had the questions before hand, and screwed him over that way.

It just doesn't seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If it gets out, he only has to point out that he got them from the first person who stole them. I agree that it would have made more sense if Abe had just proven EJ cheated in the first place. EJ also carried it out, so I definitely don't think what Abe did was any worse than EJ. More than anything I don't think EJ and Nicole should be mad. Irritated that they got outplayed, sure. IDK. I'm just disappointed. If Abe was going to do something underhanded, I wish it had been something truly underhanded.

I find it hilarious that Jen and Abe decided to go all "darkside" and this is what they came up with? They couldn't come up with anything better? Anything more underhanded? It's like I'm supposed to think a kid who shoplifts a 5 cent piece of candy is a juvenile deliquent. Cracks me up.

Abe could have told EJ and Nicole that he got the questions the same way the EJ got the Plans from his computer. <g> OR, he could have "overly innocently" said..."must be something going around in the air... my plans for the city seemed to be strangely corrupted last week" (or whenever long ago that was)
