I've heard the name Charlotte Sometimes somehow and watching her...she comes off incredibly affected to me. But I was rooting hard for the other girl so I was probably being unfair. This is probably going to come off not the way I intend it to sound but on a show that opens with blind auditions it would've been nice for the bigger girl to go through. The ones that went through tonight, for the most part, look pretty typical for the industry. At least in their genre. JMHO of course.

I read that Charlotte Sometimes had a song that was promoted on VH1, maybe that's how you heard of her.

I really hated seeing Juliet and Sarah go against each other. They were two of my faves :(

Charlotte Sometimes annoys me. Her last name bugs me too.
I liked Juliet and Sarah pretty equally as well, but the song was a clear advantage to Juliet. In fact, many of the pairings and songs were.

I've actually been really enjoying the battle rounds, but I was REALLY bummed/pissed to see Lex go. She was not a comfortable as she could be but she came a long way from her audition piece. ITA about Charlotte. When I first heard her 'name' I was excited because it's the name of a Cure song, so I figured I'd like her, but I can't stand her for some reason. She irks the shit out of me.

I like Nirvana, Lindsey and Lee but I just wasn't feeling that performance. I think they both kind of got jipped, but I'm happy to see Lindsey still in it.

Only other person I was bummed to see go was Monique.

I am really not agreeing with the judges this season either.

I have only agreed with one or two of the choices. :-/

Maybe when the show gets older they can add a twist to allow viewers to vote one person back in, or go a bit more intense and have each judge steal another judge's castoff.

I probably heard her name connected to some VH-1 show then, thanks for the info. I'm not a Cure fan so that wouldn't be it.

Still not very impressed with the talent this season. Last season was SOOOO much better. I'm afraid the show is already falling victim to the "one season success" curse.

Didn't agree with many of the judge's choices, except Sera and Juliet.

Sometimes, I think judges pick certain songs to favor certain artists, which sucks!

REEEEALLY upset that Charlotte went through. Lex was SOOOOOOO much better. Charlotte sounds horrid.

I'm bummed Jamie went home, too. :(

^Really? I think the talent is on par with last season if not a bit better. I haven't agree with all of the judge's picks, but I think we're going to have a good crop for the live shows.

Can't get over how badly Mathai SUCKS.

Wasn't impressed by any of tonight's battles.. and in every single one, I thought the other person should've gone through (except for James v. Wade; I was glad he picked James).

I don't blame Hailey from The Line for being pissed after Christina picked Moses over them. That song choice was HORRIBLE, and they were robbed! So was Orlando, which was probably the most "WTF" choice of the season for me.

Judging from the final 24 that was announced, I only like about 2 people on each team. Juliet & James from Team Cee-Lo; Pip & Tony Lucca from Team Adam; Sera & Chris from Team Christina; and Jermaine & Jordis from Team Blake.

Out of those 12, though, I only favor 2 of them to win... Sera or Pip (<top pick).

The judges and I are on two different plains this year. I disagree with them on everything.

The final night of the battle left me feeling the least impressed. I just didn't like the songs the judges picked and I thought the contestants sounded off as a whole.

Man, I can't help but relate and root for Erin Willett. I hated to hear that her father lost his battle. Pancreatic cancer is SUCH a devastating disease. Aside from my bias I thought she was great last week. Just hope we get to see more of her personality come out.

Team Blake I like: Erin, Naia and Jordis
Team Adam: Kim and Mathai, I like Pip but I was bummed to see Nathan go.
Team Christina: Lindsey and Sera
Team CeeLo: Tony, Juliet and Jamar (HATE that Erin got put through. I wanted to give her a chance but she was a total turn off last week)

I have't agreed with a handful of the judges picks but I think the top 12 is still pretty solid.

LOL. I like Mathai but I thought she was horrible in the battle rounds. I can't stand the song Adam picked and it didn't either Mathai's or Nicolle's voice justice.

The song choices have been horrible this season.

I am in my wtf moment, Erin got put through in CeeLo team, but yet Justin won't go through. Don't get me wrong, I love Tony Vincent, both Justin and Tony sang their hearts out with the Journey song, but Erin is horrible, truly horrible.

I understand why Orlando didn't go through, even though he is one of my faves.

Adam team: Tony Lucca, Kim, and Pip.
Blake: Jordis and Jermaine
Christina: Sera, Jesse Campbell, and that opera singer, but the other girl should have gone through. She was better that day
CeeLo- Tony Vincents, Jamar, and Juliett Simms

Orlando not making it at least was understandable it was a toss up, some of the others not so much.

I appreciated that Adam said that his two gals battling sucked!

Had to post because that little country girl Raelynn- holy shit she was awful. Just...awful. Is that the new generation of country music? I feel bad for y'all if that's true. Wound up with lipstick all over her chin, too.

Also, Christina Aguilera looks natural and pretty. It's weird.

IMO Jordis was the best of the night. I adore her!

I can't stand Raelynn.

I'm on the fence with Lindsay's version of "Somebody I used to Know" I liked it, but it was too safe.

What was up with Lindsay after the song? I didn't get that.

The show has too many of her type, it seems like anyway. I'm not sure which ones will survive.

I absolutely agree. Sounded like she sang it too low. She was awful and she's young so her attitude was very childish. The other girl that was 17 acted a lot more mature.

I think what saves RaeLynn is her recording voice. She sounds pretty good on the recordings, I think she could sell. She just sucks ass live right now.

I'm surprised that I liked Erin's performance. She did awesome.

WTF, America.... RaeLynn?? Uugghh! Seriously, America?!?! You all need your ears checked!!!

SUPER pissed that Sera went home, although her song choice wasn't that great.. (but from what I understand, the coaches still pick the songs in the live shows). Lyndsey did NOT deserve to go through. (Hell, she didn't even deserve to make it past battles.)

Not a big fan of Jesse. You can tell he thinks he's the shit. Yeah, he sounds awesome. But we already have enough knowitall-bighead's in the business.

So glad Jordis was saved. Her "Wild Horses" performance was awesome.

Agree with you with the exception of Lindsey. I didn't like Christina's choice of Nirvana for the battle rounds, but I loved her performance this past week.

Admittedly I'm biased, but I'm sooo happy Erin went through. I'd like to hear her sing some more current stuff though. She's got a great voice.
