I can't stand Lindsey Avelo voice or whatever her name is. The 2 that didn't have to sing live tonight should win their respective teams. |

The Voice's ratings were at an all-time low, deservedly so. This season was promising at first, but the last 2 weeks have really sucked. Don't like the battle rounds, nor so many people being axed at the same time. Lindsey sucks, Ashley wasn't much better. Those 2 should've went home. I think Blake is a good singer, but his judging is idiotic imho. Pissed that Blake got rid of Jordis, one of his best. Erin sucks, and he should've gotten rid of her. Glad Raelynn is gone, because she was very annoying. |

Christina missed her intro: priceless. Stupid that the judges all kept laughing over CeeLo's fart machine. And Carson seemed kind of annoyed that he wasn't in on the joke. Mathai sucks BALLS. Katrina's okay, but nothing to write home about. And I definitely think she should've been the one to go. Juliet was awesome again tonight, but were the wings and feathers really necessary? And the song choice sucked. And I'm also NOT a fan of the hair change. Pip's song choice was, once again, horrible. I don't think Adam really ever "got"/understood Pip the way that he should have. Cheesa isn't that great to me. Yes, she can hit the high notes, but she NEVER enunciates her words while singing, which (combined with the loud music and the high notes) makes it sound like she's singing another language. Tony Lucca KILLED it tonight... I'm absolutely a fan. (And yet again, Christina forgot who he was... "Tona".. haha!) I won't hold my breath for a MMC reunion, but that would be pretty awesome. Jamar was good, but (call me cold-hearted if you will) I'm getting a little tired of everyone's constant praise of him... "You're so good. You're what this show's all about. You have HIV. Etc. Etc." I'm still a fan of James, but I agreed with the coaches that tonight's performance wasn't anything spectacular. (I think his nerves might've played a factor, but oh well.) Pissed that Pip went home, but like I said, I don't think Adam ever understood Pip as an artist, and therefore, couldn't mentor him/give him good songs/etc like he could have. Anybody know what Christina was talking about in her comments to Mathai? That lost me, but apparently, there was backstage drama? And WTF was in CeeLo's mouth during the GoodieMob performance? |

I totally forgot this show was on. What did Christina say to Mathai? I watched some of the performances online and downloaded a couple singles (I like to hear them on record, it's a shame they use auto-tune though). What Tony Lucca did has been done, better. And I have to be honest, I'm getting pissed off about him because that song choice wasn't clever or cute, imho. It's milking his connection to MMC to offset his limited performance skills (he's not awful, but he's definitely niche, imho). And I've reached the conclusion he's a giant douche, so I really want him to lose and fade back into obscurity. This time when he fades he won't be able to act like he walked away from fame/money by not choosing a pop route. Fame will have rejected him. About Lindsay- she can turn hip hop songs into something semi-mournful. I think that's her one skill. She should get a real job and do shit on Youtube like everyone else with that skill. I like her, but she seems uncomfortable with this whole thing. Edited by px780, Apr 24 2012, 08:59 AM.

I agree with about half. I've liked Mathai but she completely lost me this week. I thought the song choice was horrible, as was her singing. Should have been her instead of Pip. Katrina was ok, still shaky in parts but I thought this was the most comfortable she's looked all season long. Love Juliet, but I agree with you. I haven't really cared for Pip since the battle rounds. Cute kid, but kind of out of his league, IMO. Wasn't sad to see James go. The song choice was horrible!! I never saw him winning. Tony was much better tonight. He looked good, sounded good and the song choice/arrangement was spot on. I missed Jamar's performance and what Christina said to Mathai. I said a couple of weeks ago that Christina was getting a bad rap, but last week and this week she's seemed more short than usual. At first I thought she was just cracking down on her judging, but she always seems bothered lately. |

Tony just shows what is wrong with music today. I have heard a lot of his independently released stuff and it is pretty good. But he just isn't one of those flashy in your face performers. Agree about Jamar. I didn't like it at all. I love "It's My Life" and it shouldn't be slowed down like he did. The words of the song basically say about taking control and not caring what others have to say. Jamar actually made it sort of depressing. I am a huge Bon Jovi fan so I know there is some bias in me to the original. But honestly I wasn't a huge fan of Jamar when he was on AI either. |

This is going to sound really mean...but I think she's just hungry. She seems to have dropped a lot of weight this season, or she's off whatever was causing her to bloat. She looks fantastic but I wonder if her methods are affecting her moods. |

LOL! She's looking good though. A lot less bloated than she did last season, or even during the blind auditions for this season. I guess it could be though. Something is up with her for sure though. |

I had this big long post, but the only thing that really matters is that Juliet Simms is a fucking star. I love her, I have never liked a singer like her before. When she's on...holy shitballs. Her vs. Jamar is SO unfair (and I'm not a huge fan of his). Um...yeah. Holy fucking awesome. That girl...yes. Also, Katrina- I'd like it if she gets through. She could sell well in the current market, imho. |

A big NO NO NO NO NO to Lindsey and Katrina. I can't stand Lindsey, period. Katrina's not bad, but nothing about her stands out. And a big "ehhhh" to Jamar. He's really good, but something about him just throws me off. All the rest were AWESOME tonight. Although, I don't guess I'll ever be a big fan of the group numbers they do. Looks like Christina's temporary wardrobe rehabilitation is over.... *eyeroll* |

Katrina is pretty karaoke. Juliet hit #5 on iTunes. Lindsay's at like #16 and Katrina's at #25. I hope sales count for more votes than repeat phone calls, because it'd be interesting to see them all in the finale, imho. More interesting than the guys, anyway. |

VERY happy with the Final 4. I'll be pleased with whoever wins!!! I was sad to see Erin leave, though. I had grown to like her a lot! (Ironic. Last year, I loved the talent. Hated the final 4. This year, I hated the talent. LOVE the final 4.) |

Team Juliette all the way! Super bummed about Erin. I think it was one of her best performances. I just don't get the love for Jermaine. He's so forgettable to me. I'm sure Erin will be fine though. |

Why does Christina seem to have it out for Tony? It seems like everytime she comments about him it's something snarky. |

Awesome show last night, all the right ones went thru to the finals. Chris Mann, Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca & the one I want to win JULIET SIMS. Thank God the Audience, Cee-Lo & Adam got it right! (Christina and Blake both were stupid tying their pics, Chris Mann is far, far more talented than the weird and horrible psychotic eyed Lindsey Pavao and Blake's Jermaine beats the living hell out of Erin, whom I feel he only picks because their fathers died around the same time). |

Yeah, Christina is bitchy to Tony. Maybe he turned her down years ago? I don't know, but she definitely has a problem with him. It's a really good final 4. I don't care for Chris Mann though. Juliet is my favorite. |

Wasn't there some stuff about Timberlake pimping Tony, and Christina took issue with that 'cause it's kind of an unfair advantage? I dunno, she gave him a huge boost, and Adam saved his ass this last round 'cause they're bros. I don't particularly like him (vocally limited, imho, and a bit of a douchebag) so I'm biased in Christina's favor, though I hate how their quarrel has impacted the show (him throwing a Britney song in her face, then his "How Ya Like Me Now" song choice; her constant comments). I doubt it's MMC related, though, because she didn't remember him. I'm disappointed in the final 4 although I couldn't argue passionately for anyone who was cut. I love Juliet, though, and hope she somehow takes this whole thing. If iTunes votes were weighted over phone/text/facebook votes she probably would. She outsold them last week (hell, Lindsay outsold Chris and Katrina outsold Tony- I think people who actually purchase the music should have more of a vote, it'd be a totally different finale), and I think she probably will again. |

She definitely is pissed about something when it comes to Tony. I am betting it is about Justin Timberlake tweeting to support Tony. Tony and Justin are still friends from the MMC days. I know my friend even showed me a commercial that Tony is in for some alcohol that Justin has ownership in (I forget the details). Just seems that she is pissed that Justin hasn't tweeted support of any of her singers. Agree with others that if iTunes songs are going to count, they should count for more than 1. At least for the fact that you only going to buy a song once where as you can phone in 10 votes. Need to somehow make it weighed so the iTunes and phone votes are weighed the same. At least I will say they do limit the amount of votes you can phone in unlike Idol. |

Tony Lucca is a giant douche. I'll set to the side that the song choice was clearly intended to be a dig at Christina, as his past two song choices have (imho, of course). But to sell yourself as a family man who chose to walk away from mega-celebrity (because you were just so damn talented you'd have succeeded if you only wanted it) and then bust out "99 Problems" is full-on bullshit, imho. And, I read elsewhere that the version he used was someone else's, but not widely-known. I HATE when reality show contestants do that because it creates a false impression of their creativity that helps them get votes. It seems unethical. I'm not saying Christina doesn't have some share of the blame- she gave him this storyline (maybe they're really friends and this was her gift to him, 'cause I think he's going to win the show). But he and Adam? Fucking foul, imho. It's way too early in the show's lifecycle for it to have this kind of bullshit obliterate the contestants and taint judges. It's all so...distasteful. I need something to fill the Idol void. He'd better thank her when he wins. |
