Christina and Justin Timberlake are really good friends so I don't know why she would be annoyed with him supporting Tony, just competitive I guess. |

The Voice TORN APART!!! By Adam Levine & Christina Aguilera’s Explosive Brawl It should have been a happy day on set for the four coaches of The Voice as they geared up for the May 8 finale, but instead an explosive fight blew up between Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine during the May 7 rehearsal, leaving the set reeling, a source close to Christina exclusively tells RadarOnline.com. “Christina found out that Adam planned to have his finalist, Tony Luca, sing 99 Problems by Jay-Z, in which he'll sing "I've got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one” the source explains. “Adam and Tony wanted to call Christina out as a bitch but make it clear she's not a problem for Tony. It was completely aimed at her. It was Adam’s idea, but Tony absolutely loved it.” However, the 31-year-old mom flipped out. “Christina thought it was ridiculous. She was highly offended,” the source explained. “It ended up that NBC told Adam to change 'bitch' in the song's lyrics to 'chick.'” But Adam, 33, would not relent, arguing that changing the song completely ruined it and he wouldn’t do that to Tony, the source explained. “He said changing the song would be a death sentence,” the source continued. Adam – furious at Christina – blew up at her during the coaches’ rehearsal for Free Your Mind. “Adam went right up to Christina and said ‘you’re the biggest f***ing c***,” the source said. “Obviously Christina was appalled and hissed that Adam should be fired. She’s sick of being treated this way.” “Christina is so sick of Adam being looked at as the golden boy of the show. If America knew how disgusting he was, they would be appalled, she always says,” the source admitted. Adam’s outburst led to a halt in production rehearsals. “Adam wouldn’t do anything until this gets figured out,” the source revealed. “He was being incredibly immature.” Locking himself in his trailer, Adam put the whole set in a frenzy, the source said. The whole thing was a “huge fiasco,” the source admitted. “By midday it wasn’t even confirmed that Adam would be going through with the coaches performance. It was that bad." http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2012/05/adam-levine-christina-aguilera-fight-voice |

100% Agreed. Regardless of what Jay Z wrote the song about, considering the back and for tension between Christina and Tony this season, it was a clear and direct dig at her. Classless, IMO. Was a bit of a low blow when she called his son a girl, but aside from that I haven't seen her do or say anything that was that far below the belt. 99 problems was covered by Hugo(?) and it sounds rather similar to the one Adam and Tony put together..... As for the content of the song, Jay Z may have 'written' it about an issue with the cops/k9 unit but there is still room for interpretation there and part of the chorus still reads' "If you're havin' girl problems i feel bad for you son ... i got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one." Add to that, Jay Z took the title and the chorus of the song from an Ice-T song which is much more profane and that song definitely degrades women. It's not a slam against either Jay Z or Ice- T for that matter, but in this case it was clear what Adam and Tony were doing. All that aside, the performance sucked and it didn't seem like a song/performance worthy of being in the finals. He's done better and this was just pointless and a waste of time. In a way I'm shocked and then I'm not at the backlash against Christina. Yes she's been rather moody and curt this season but to defend Tony in one breath and go on about how the song is so much deeper than that, but to then turn around and call Christina a bitch or fat..... Ugh, I just can't. I'm rooting and voted for Juliet but I agree I have a bad feeling it's going to come down to Tony or Jermaine with Tony taking the win. |

Okay, WOW. I had no idea this feud had gotten so out of hand. Mateo, I thought that was a low blow, too, but then I started looking... and... I think that might actually be a girl. (???) Christina was being diva-ish whichever way you spin it. That cough at the beginning? Not saying it was fake, but kind of convenient. There she is, supposed to be talking about the competition and she starts saying how sick she is. *insert eyeroll* Then, when Chris performed, she kept pointing out how he's a "REAL man" who "respects women"...... uh, WHAT?! Aside from all of that, Jermaine NAILED that "I Believe" song, and his duet w/ Blake just made me smile. You could tell they were having a blast, and it didn't sound too bad, either. Christina's duet with Chris was beautiful. And (not sure if anyone noticed) I liked how they scrolled a letter he had written to Christina in the background as he sang "The Voice Within" for her... (Totally fitting song for him, BTW) Juliet's awesome, but you could tell something was off tonight. And as controversial as it may be, I liked Tony's 99 Problems, and his duet with Adam. His "Hard to Breathe" cover was good, aside from his obvious breathlessness and that one flub where he laughed when he forgot the lyric/couldn't get it out fast enough/whatever it was. Again, I'm not sure if any of this Tony/Christina/Adam feud business is factual, or just media exploitation, but whatever the case.... I'll be extremely happy for whoever wins tomorrow night. |

I'm really not all that surprised by the backlash against Christina even though, frankly, she's no different than Adam, imho. They're both narcissists, but he's a hot guy and she's a woman whose weight fluctuates. She doesn't stand a chance, especially on a reality television show. I mean, reality tv has spent over a decade making money off and reinforcing the idea that women are a bunch of stupid, catty, self-absorbed, materialistic whores (see: The Bachelor, Real Housewives of..., anything on VH-1). People are conditioned to buy into this season-long narrative of what a horrid bitch she is (OMG, y'all, she didn't hug the boy band!), and she doesn't help things with her behavior. But then, why should she have to behave a certain way? Why should she have to be less of an asshole than Adam gets to be? Wow, this really pisses me off for some reason. I voted for Juliet last night. I hope that she wins, or Chris/Jermaine do. They tried to win this competition by singing. Tony tried to win it through controversy, by milking the MMC and a feud with Aguilera. I'd rather a singer win a singing competition than a skilled famewhore who ripped off other musicians without giving proper credit. If he's so fucking fantastic, if he's half as great as he seems to think he is, Timberlake or someone else can give him a record deal (setting aside, of course, the fact that he doesn't have one, 'cause that's his choice or whatever, right?). |

I don't blame Adam Levine for being pissed off at Christina. She obviously showing herself for what she is the last few weeks----a total diva and bitch. She's definitely has a huge grudge on Lucca, don't know why she freaking hates him so much. Good thing "Moves Like Jagger" happened last year. Don't think will be seeing Maroon 5 singing that with Christina anymore lmfao. The Voice's Top 4 are all talented and beats the HELL out of IDOL's! Juliet was hurt last night by her illness. Her voice sounded much weaker on "Crazy"(Gnarls Barkley) and on her duet with Cee-Lo She was freaking AWESOME however on Lynyrd Skynyrd's "FreeBird" Chris Mann was his usual greatness. Loved him on all 3 performances, espically on "The Prayer" duet With Christina, and on Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up". He was also very good on Christina's "The Voice Within". Tony Lucca's "99 Problems" by Jay-Z, was sweetly awesome, made it his own, it's a shame diva Christina went to NBC about the "bitch" in the song. But glad they didn't switch it with "chick". Tony's "Harder To Breathe(Maroon 5 tribute) was good too as was his duet with Adam on the Beatles "Yesterday". Jermaine Paul is also an incredibly awesome vocalist. Loved his take on Blake's smash "God Gave Me You", he and Blake's "Soul Man" was the best and most entertaining duet of the night. Also loved his R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly", maybe even better than R. Kelly!! It's going to be a very, very, very close result imho. Jermaine winning would be like another Javier Colon win, although I think Jermaine is better. I've been rooting for Juliet the last several weeks, but her duet and tribute performances suffered from her illness, even though voters are just supposed to vote on the solo performance "FreeBird". Tony was pretty damn current in his singing, so that may be the edge. Christina's antics may sway the votes toward him or possibly away from him if women especially agree with her about the using the word "bitch". Plus Chris Mann may be hurt by Christina's antics as well due to him being "Team Christina", although he's arguably the best voice in the bunch.! Won't be pissed at anyone of them winning because all are good and have been some of my faves all season. |

Tony sings too, and just as good as any of the rest. Christina brought the crap on herself. |

Tony's singing is debatable, but he clearly didn't rely solely on talent (or even primarily on talent) to get attention/votes. It's a smart move, imho, since the last time he tried to show off his vocals he fell flat ("In Your Eyes"- since then it's been drama-related song choices). I really don't get how Christina brought anything on herself, because she's no different than Adam from what I can tell. They're both really full of themselves. He gets a pass. Cee-lo seems to be getting a pass for some nasty tweets he made last night. Blake has been checked out this entire season, he gets a pass for that. Yet Christina gets called out for everything she does, on or off screen, proof or no proof. I think that's bullshit. Seriously- what is she expected to do? Act all sweet? Then she'd be called out for being fake. If she were an attractive white guy it'd be a whole different story, imho. |

Christina started the whole thing though. She was a bitch to Tony for no reason. What is her problem with him?!? Even when she tries to say something nice to him, she follows it up with a dig at him. She doesn't do that to anyone else. I think Adam decided to have a little fun with it. I don't know, I think she kind of deserves it. She does come across as a total bitch and a diva. |

Eh...I think what set me off was reading comments about Christina's appearance on another board, and not really getting the vitriol towards her based on what she's done on the show.

Meh, I'm still team Christina. She's not perfect and hasn't been totally innocent in all of this, but I just don't care for Tony. Adam doesn't bother as much, but then again I've never really cared for Maroon 5. Still don't get Jermaine. I think he's so forgettable. Chris is good, but not really my cup of tea. Juliet was definitely off last night. Bummer. She's the best of the bunch IMO. I don't know what people were listening to w/Tony's 99 problems. It was horrible! |

I didn't watch last season but what I saw starting with the first episode was this rivalry between Adam and Christina. What has bothered me with the comments Christina has made weren't really constructive at what Tony could do but more digs at Adam. I remember with both the battle rounds and that first week of viewer voting, I didn't like the way that Adam was directing Tony. I am familiar with some of Tony's previous stuff and they way Adam was directing was where he wasn't strong. Then Christina made the "one-dimensional" comment and that shifted the way Adam was directing Tony. I actually think Chris Mann (on Christina's team) is one-dimensional. Amazing voice, but before he starts singing I already have an idea what it is going to sound like. Christina was clearly jealous. Her team didn't have Justin Timberlake asking people to vote, Tony didn't choose her and her singers were shown in the previews of an episode with all the hype Tony was on his first appearance. (He was the last one to perform and they had a bunch of commercials wondering if Christina would recognize a person from her past). She also realized that Adam was given a head start in the competition between the coaches by Tony choosing him. I do honestly believe if it was Tony Lucca "guy on the street" and not Tony Lucca "of the Mickey Mouse Club" she might have given him similar feedback, but not in the vindictive way she did. |

That Hall & Oates performance blew chunks. I like them but they should have chosen a different song IMHO. |

I don't think Christina was jealous. The Blake/Adam relationship, Carson as the host, reading the backstage stuff- that article and the ones where people called her a bitch for not hugging them- makes me think that set is a doucehbag orgy and she's not a part of that club. Adam's total dismissal of Katrina fits in with that too, imho, and then you had a bit of what Idol had where the girls weren't voted through by America. I think she's reacting to that and targeting the epicenter- Tony and Adam's love affair. I do also wonder if she gets annoyed with how Tony describes his career, how he says he opted out of a lifestyle that she worked hard to develop. Mostly though, I'm starting to think that set is just not a great place to be. BUT, it's time for me to move on. I have no desire to convince people really. I don't think she's faultless- can't imagine she's easy to work with. This just really got under my skin for some reason I can't figure out. Rooting for Juliet! |

Well I am very surprised at the final results. I really thought it would come down to Tony and Juliet. But honestly I do think the other three are going to be fine. Someone does need to tell Christina she isn't a size 0 and should remember to put her pants on. |

Jermaine won? Interesting. Last I checked iTunes he had the lowest sales. Good for him! He took the prize kinda quietly. I hope Juliet also gets an album out of this. |
