It's a black glove, y'all. A BLACK GLOVE. Really what is with the black gloves this reminds me of when EJ first came on the scene and he was committing those black glove crimes.
Why is Ian, I know it is him wearing those black gloves? I know he wants to be mysterious but really?

"What's the big deal?" Thank you, John. Sigh. We're going to have watch these morons all get married again. There's just no way around it. I ain't no Celeste a psychic or anything but I see a double wedding coming up, oh yes people another wedding.

I mean...I get their frustration, but a piece of paper doesn't really change their marriage. Or it shouldn't.
I wish there was some kind of historical tie for this story, like if Hope couldn't get her inheritance until she married the man she loved, and the HoJo marriage caused an issue with that. Actually, I wish this story wasn't happening, but since it is, it'd be nice if there was a real reason for everybody to be so upset about this.
SO.MUCH.THIS. I've said it before, I'll say it again: there are no STAKES. Who cares if John and Hope are married if it doesn't actually threaten their current marriages, their lifestyles, exposing their secrets, etc. Good lord, it's not that hard Days, it's really not that hard.
But JOHN and HOPE are MARRIED. It's a disaster of epic proportions. It invalidates everything that every happened in the last 15 years. I mean, both couples have been happily married and together that WHOLE time. They didn't marry other people or think they were married to other people. They were never involved with anybody else in anyway. Oh . . . wait. Yeah, nevermind. Carry on. Well I don't know about you people but I'm pretty sure if I found a piece of paper that said I'm married to a friend of the family rather than my husband of thirty years it would change everything. I mean...what would I call myself? Is there another ring I should know about? What if we disagree on china patterns? We're talking fundamentally life changing paradigm shift, people!

To be fair, Hope might have had a nicer place to live and a non-BillieCarly loving husband...

All that time, money and robo-clones EJ invested in to break up Safe when all he really had to do was buy a plane ticket for Carrie back to Salem . . . Live and learn EJ. Live and learn!

Seriously I am beginning to think Martsolf's Brady is an issue. brady and Nicole has been the only remotely interesting pairing and he and Taylor 1.0 had a little spark. Other that that nothing they have done with him is interesting and Brady like John Black don't work in this corporate kind of circle they have them in. He should be in no offense a more blue collarish role.
And I just don't care about Bope or Jarlena. Both couples are solid so unless someone gets brainwashed I'm not seeing the impact here.

I think they ruined Brady when he went on his bender thus creating Bad/Grey Brady, concurrently whitewashing bad Philip for Melanie. Brady could always use an edge but I feel like this shift in personality has really been to his detriment. He was interesting with Nicole during the miscarriage because he had a vulnerability with her and wanted her to do the right thing. Now he is just a sleazy, FallinInLove Asshat.

I agree, the super white hat was bad too and I really wanted to like him but I feel like he is too emotionless to identify with. He isn't a business bad ass, he barely interacts with any characters and he's been relegated to basically to bang whatever useless new character they bring in.
I thought he finally hit a good place during the baby swap and quickly turned him away.

Priest: Do you, Marlena, take thee John...
Sami: NO, she doesn't! However, I will take Lucas as my husband...
Priest: Wait your turn, young lady!
