The Austin and Abigail scenes played very nicely. Kudos to Mansi and Muldoon for pulling it off well. I don't think Abigail is psychotic at all. Mansi could have played it that way and the writing could've gone that way, but it didn't. I have to give it to the writers for adding that scene where Abigail debated telling Austin the truth. It shows that Abigail isn't psychotic and there is a conscience in that head of hers after all. However, she's so smitten by Austin that she's taking the drunken attention he showed her the night before as a sign that he really wants her, so why tell him? LOL at the line about nodody wanting to date crazy ladies. Great line there!

I liked Carrie's heavy apology not letting Austin get his own confession out. Classic soap opera right there! He tried to tell her what happened, but never got the chance. That will come back to bite him in the ass later. I wish Austin would have suggested going to Green Mountain Lodge instead of Hawaii. GML is their spot!

Loved the ending with the Big 4. Very dramatic.

I seriously do not want anymore J&M or Bope weddings, they have already had like a dozen between the two couples! And for some reason... if the two couples do get remarried... I totally see them having a double wedding! :shame:
:teehee:

Start watching at the 1:25 mark.

That has to be 1 of my top 5 favorite scenes :)

I agree that Abigail (I wish they would just call her Abby...it made me smile when Austin did a few times) didn't come off crazy here. Aside from the scene where she thought of telling him the truth, you had the scene where Austin was trying to let her down easy and explain to her that he has no feelings for her. You could tell Abigail realized what he was about to say and that is when she said she had to go to class and left while she kept acting like everything was ok and Austin would want to make plans for later. She knew what was coming but didn't want her dream come true to end. She wanted to keep living her fantasy. I loved the writing here. Abigail is coming off sympathetic and that is a good thing because she is in for a hard fall. Good job by KM and PM.

I also liked the Rafe/Carrie and Carrie/Austin scenes. I like the classic soapy way in which Carrie's apology stopped Austin from saying anything.

I even thought the Bo/Hope/John/Marlena stuff was handled well today. Marlena had some awesome lines, especially the "bastard" and "I'll kill him" lines. I also liked the way she said "what?" at the beginning when she realized John was serious about being married to Hope. I would like some of the blanks filled in here with this story but I thought the fallout from the reveal played well.

Today was the best written episode of the week so the good news is every episode this week has been an improvement from the day before. Still not on par with last week but today was solid. The fallout from the action of the past two episodes is definitely being handled better. I only wish the pacing and execution on Monday and Tuesday had been better but oh well.

Yeah, Abby is a Horton, she's Jack's daughter. But that doesn't mean she has to be written as a goody two shoes. Benson's Abby was written like that and that was BORING!!!!! I really enjoyed the Abby/Austin scenes.

I have an Abigail/Abby and we use both names interchangably. The only person I really have a problem with calling her Abigail is Austin. Forgive me but it something about the way PM says it. I'd love to say it's Austin's way of saying she's Abby, not Abigail, but the name just doesn't seem to roll off his tongue easily.

I saw a hint of Marlena's killer look today. Me likey! Also, Marlena is cute when she's all sassafrass about Stefano.

I also love John and Marlena's just looking at each other while Hope freaks out about the news from Bo's contact.

Watching now... why would Hope keep the marriage certificate by her bedside? Don't you do that with a picture of a crush or something close to your heart? I'm not suggesting she wants this marriage, but why in the world would she keep that thing on her nightstand? Because what's on your nightstand is what's on your heart or what you dream about. Does she want nightmares? I think the typical person would have kept the marriage certificate on an office desk or somewhere where business takes place.

Oh, snap! Watching the Austigail scenes right now! This is juicy...A professor and his student! His AIDE, even! It's all about chemistry, and these two seem to have it at 04:33 on the NBC site.

Love the "It's not a dream... it's very real" line. This shows the viewers who've been faked out several times, with Abby's fantasies, that this in fact is the real thing. Like it or loathe it, it's happening! (What a payoff!)

OK... this is really hot. But then, with Kate Mansi, how could it not be? I don't think she's playing psycho here. But then, she takes off her top and all he can do is pass out? It's quite an insult -- and I can't blame her for letting him think they slept together.
