I guess we are not watching the same clip. The one I watched had absolutely nothing to do with the Dimera's! Not sure where there is any indication of any of these things? |

Awesome. Days is in desperate need of a new bad-ass character. Let's hope he sticks around longer than just a year ! |

Guess I was wrong before and Kate does fear Ian like Madison does but Kate's fear is a different kind of fear she does not want him to get too close because she is afraid of where it will lead and what impact it will have on her marriage to Stefano. |

This reminds me of the time everybody was sure Stefano was going to die back in September. Even if EJ is Ian's son, if Stefano's written correctly, it won't change how he feels, and it's not like there aren't other Dimeras on and off canvas to bring in. Edited by six, Feb 9 2012, 12:02 PM.

I felt that way due to Ian Buchanan's striking resemblance to James Scott. From there, I just connected the dots. It's fun to speculate. I may be wrong as to how it turns out, but if EJ is un-DiMera'd, wouldn't it indicate the show runners have some ulterior agenda behind that? My guess would be phasing out the DiMeras. Why else would you un-DiMera EJ when the show has had its fair share (and then some) of Who's Your Daddy? storylines. |

Ian's a woman basher. As a woman I find his character insulting to women and unwatchable. Are Days promoting that it's okay to bash women? |

Really? I don't think so. He is not that popular as an actor. He did nothing for B&B. His character is a turn off and has no ties to Salem except for boring Madison. |

He's evil -- and in case you didn't see, lol, beat Brady up with just a CANE. lol. That's the sign of a badass. Stefano is neutered. So is Victor. "Days" gets ratings increases when badasses -- true badasses -- like this guy fuck with people's lives. I see big things for the show thanks to Ian's debut. And it's not because of IB's celebrity. It's actually because he is a masterful actor. (My God, look at all his facial contortions and expressions... you know what the character's thinking and how devious he is just by a wrinkle on his face!) And also because he is a PIMP with that cane! He's like nothing this show has seen in years! He's a phenomenon. Granted, it's a little early to say that, but just as a lot of people saw that promo and said they were instantly drawn into the Bradison story, that's the power of IB. |

It's a fictional show, so yes, it's OK to bash women on TV. Not everything can be politically correct. Drama would suck if it were. |
