After all... tomorrow is another day!

Did Nicole send Will on an errand to tamper with the ballots for EJ's favor but Will set it up so Abe got more votes? That would be kind of funny.

I would love for Abe and Jennifer to get caught out and lose the election because of it. If they had remained true to their "lofty" convictions and moral superiority, I would be sad to see EJ steal victory from them. But they got down in the mud with EJ who never claimed to good or nice. They deserve to lose. Besides, where's the fun if dull, old Abe wins. Anyone remember one thing he did as mayor until HTS opened? Well I don't. EJ is sure to get up to fun stuff.

I'm sure down the road EJ will be ousted and humiliated but for now I will love seeing him as mayor, even by default.

Gone, But Not Forgotten!

IMO, the SL is finally getting interesting. I want Jennifer to be set-up for ballot stuffing and then watch her beg and plead her innocence, while Abe admits to the SPD, that it came up in conversation and that he specifically told Jennifer not to do it. Honest Abe is going to tell the truth of what he knows, trying to regain his own conscience. After Jennifer falls for her 'wrong doing' even through she didn't really do it, would be so good to watch. After a couple of months, when the wheels start to fall off Ejill and Ejole, we later find out that Nicole had Will do the ballot stuffing and for whose side ABE or EJ?? But... OMG...to watch Will crumble at letting Jennifer take the fall, thinking he did something to cause it, all b/c of his blackmailing problems...would be awesome...just hoping this is where TPTB are going with this. A Horton inadvertantly screwing over a Horton, at the hands of a Dimera...could it be possible?

Which would be hilarious, because even if Abe legitimately have the greatest number of votes, Will's action would cause him to forfeit the win. LOL!

EJ will win. The ballot stuffing frame job will cost him the campaign.

I like this because there's a scandal here that could come out down the road. It's another secret to add to the pile. There needed to be something to be exposed later which would get EJ ousted as Mayor and this will be part of it.
Yay! We finally have some SCANDAL...and maybe even some CONSEQUENCE!

I think this sounds pretty good!

That would be classic! I don't think anyone of our favorite characters will truly take the fall.
I'm thinking that whoever Jennifer asks to help skew the poll results, probably does it anyway.. without her okay. It will be this unimportant character that really is responsible and will end up facing charges, but not before, those involved are frantically trying to prove their innocence.
1) Jen to Abe & family that she thought about it, but didn't go ahead with her plan. Her word against this two-timing poll skewer, she hooked up with.
2) Abe to Lexie & family that he knew Jen suggested it, but told her he was not interested in winning that way.
2) Will to Nicole and EJ, pleading that he did ballot stuffing for EJ, not for Abe... but it still wasn't enough to win the election (this is really inconsequential, but causes problems for TEAM EJ) EJ might win on default..... good enough for me. Bad Ass Mayor for Salem!!

That's how I feel too. If Abe and Jennifer had run a smart campaign, focusing on Abe's positive accomplishments in office and EJ's lack of experience and his criminal connections, they would be much more rootable. Instead, they resorted to the same dirty tactics as the opposition, while still claiming moral superiority. No one likes a hypocrite. And the more virtuous someone appears, the greater the backlash when they become corrupted. ( "For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds, / Lilies that fester smell far worse than weeds" --Shakespeare.)

And dramatically, EJ becoming mayor does make for the more exciting story. Especially if the good guys band together to bring him down.

Yeah, that's what I assumed happen. That Nicole had Will stuff the box with pro-Abe votes, so that even if he would have legitimately won, it doesn't matter. If EJ had stuffed the box, they would have found out, and Abe would have won. This way it makes Abe look horrible and he can't be mayor...which leaves the door open for EJ to walk right in.

I find this annoying. Once again, someone has to pay and it's not EJ. Maybe they're building up to a big fall for him, but it certainly doesn't feel like it. I'd prefer everyone have to face consequences and we see all the beats of that play out, but watching EJ get away with stupid thing after stupid thing was old three head writers ago.

I hope this ends with a Lexie/Abe divorce. That would make it all worth it.

I sort of agree but I think they are building up for a huge payday for Ej. I just think that everything is going to come together at once (the deadbabysex, the John framing, the election tampering).....

I think we are starting to see Will go a bit on his own here.....I'm sure Nicole sends him to stuff the ballots in favor of Ej, that is why Ej and Nicole are confident he will come out on top. Does Nicole tell EJ what she's having Will do? It would be interesting if she kept that to herself knowing that Ej lied to her the day of the debate.....now if Will goes and stuffs the ballots for Abe then I can see where he would THINK that would benefit Abe, but in essence it's perfect how the entire plan failed if he did that. Because in the end, before he gets it right, Will is going to stumble here and there, but I'm so freaking glad that Will isn't just playing along and doing everything Ej/Nicole want him to do....that is, if he does that on his own, which I think is a real possibility.

After six years, it's just hard to believe it's ever going to happen, and even if it does I have serious doubts it will be worth the wait.

Taking something boring like Abe giving EJ the wrong debate questions and making a big issue out of it because they aren't imaginative enough to come up with anything more interesting -- typical MarDar.

Who cares if Abe rigged the election? I certainly don't. And I don't see why Lexie would. Since when is she the moral police?

LOL @ Jennifer asking Abe to let her cook the ballots in his favour....Jennifer would never do something like that...ridiculous.

Glad this stupid story is going to be over...

I wouldn't be surprised if the 3 month saga of John's framing by EJ is never heard of again. But let's bring up Will shooting EJ that happened years ago and resolve that. Again.

It's not that Lexie has room to judge (she doesn't after all the crap she's done). I think, however, Lexie would be stunned that "honest Abe" would do such a thing. That's why she could question his integrity and even her marriage. If someone shocks you enough, and completely throws you a curveball to the point of where it seems like Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde, that could have a lasting impact.
