I wish I could be in those ABC Daytime meetings each and every week more proof is brought in that this show is such a complete failure. |

Another updated ratings week for The View, The Talk, THe Chew and The Revolution. The Revolution really needs to go... Updated Results in Network Daytime Talk by marcberman on March 15, 2012 in Highlights with 19 Comments THE CHEW IS LIVABLE; THE REVOLUTION IS A DISASTER First things first: veteran The View on ABC remains in a class of its own with 3.60 million viewers for the week of March 5, according to Nielsen. But all is not well on the alphabet network in daytime talk, with week eight of The Revolution dipping to a series-low 1.40 million viewers – 40 percent below year-ago occupant One Life to Live. Erosion in the three key female demos from the beloved soap ranged from 44 to 50 percent. The Chew, meanwhile, finished close to year-ago levels compared to All My Children, which is now the traditional pattern. Take a look at The Chew and The Revolution versus All My Children and One Life to Live: All My Children – Week of 3/07/11 Viewers: 2.32 million, Women 25-54: 1.0 rating/ 6 share, Women 18-49: 0.7/ 4, Women 18-34: 0.4/ 3 The Chew – Week of 3/05/12 Viewers: 2.23 million, Women 25-54: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-49: 0.7/ 4, Women 18-34: 0.5/ 3 Percent Change – The Chew vs. All My Children Viewers: – 4, Women 25-54: -10, Women 18-49: no change, Women 18-34: +25 —– One Life to Live – Week of 3/07/11 Viewers: 2.35 million, Women 25-54: 1.1/ 7, Women 18-49: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-34: 0.6/ 4 The Revolution – Week of 3/05/12 Viewers: 1.40 million, Women 25-54: 0.6/ 4, Women 18-49: 0.5/ 3, Women 18-34: 0.3/ 2 Percent Change – The Revolution vs. One Life to Live Viewers: – 40, Women 25-54: -45, Women 18-49: -44, Women 18-34: -50 Over at CBS, The Talk, which was recently picked up for a third season, finished third among the four network daytime talkers with 2.15 million viewers. Results among women 25-54 (1.0/ 6), women 18-49 (0.8/ 5) and women 18-34 (0.4/ 3) were similar to The Chew. http://www.tvmediainsights.com/2012/03/updated-results-in-network-daytime-talk-4/ |

^With these ratings, if they cancel GH instead of "The Revolution" I'll seriously stop watching any ABC show, I don't care. (And I don't even watch GH!) That would be eff'd up. |

Another update-- this show is tanking!! THE REVOLUTION ON ABC DROPS TO ANOTHER SERIES LOW As a disclaimer, Daylight Savings Time kicked-in this week (which is never beneficial to the ratings) and The Talk on CBS was only a three-day (Monday to Wednesday) average due to pre-emptions on Thursday and Friday for the ongoing NCAA Basketball Tournament. Excluding The View (which averaged 3.43 million viewers),, ABC’s troubles worsened in daytime talk with The Revolution sinking to another series low and The Chew off by noticeable percentages from year-ago occupant All My Children. Based on the Live Plus Same Day ratings from Nielsen for the week of March 12, ailing The Revolution is now down to 1.33 million viewers (off 45 percent from One Live to Live one year earlier), with key female erosion as high as 50 percent among women 25-54. The Chew also lost steam, with 2.14 million viewers down 10 percent from All My Children. Female demo losses for The Chew were as high as 25 percent among women 18-49. Here is The Chew and The Revolution versus All My Children and One Life to Live: All My Children – Week of 3/14/11 Viewers: 2.38 million, Women 25-54: 1.1 rating/ 7 share, Women 18-49: 0.8/ 6, Women 18-34: 0.5/ 3 The Chew – Week of 3/12/12 Viewers: 2.14 million, Women 25-54: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-49: 0.6/ 4, Women 18-34: 0.4/ 3 Percent Change – The Chew vs. All My Children Viewers: -10, Women 25-54: -18, Women 18-49: -25, Women 18-34: -20 —– One Life to Live – Week of 3/14/11 Viewers: 2.43 million, Women 25-54: 1.2/ 8, Women 18-49: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-34: 0.5/ 4 The Revolution – Week of 3/12/12 Viewers: 1.33 million, Women 25-54: 0.6/ 4, Women 18-49: 0.5/ 3, Women 18-34: 0.3/ 2 Percent Change – The Revolution vs. One Life to Live Viewers: -45, Women 25-54: -50, Women 18-49: -44, Women 18-34: -40 On CBS, sophomore The Talk was below average with 1.90 million viewers (- 4 percent from one year earlier), a 0.8/ 6 in women 25-54 (-11 percent), a 0.6/ 4 in women 18-49 (-25) and a 0.3/ 2 in women 18-34 (-50). http://www.tvmediainsights.com/2012/03/updated-results-in-network-daytime-talk-5/ Edited by talbab1994, Mar 22 2012, 05:34 PM.

HOLY SHIT! These numbers reference with the 2011 vs 2012 are just WOW I will NEVER be over the fact I lost my BELOVED All My Children to this heap of garbage I mean NEVER! Saddens me to this day. :( However I do reverence in COMPLETE JOY that The Spit & The Revulsion have continued to fall in ratings and seeing them compared to our AMC & OLTL cancel soaps whom were purposely put on chopping blocks makes it that much sweeter. Way to-go SoapOperaFans Telling Frons & Fuck Company to Kiss Our ASS! :moon: |
