GH Rumors: An Oldtime Villain + Other Vets May Return

An oldtime villain, maybe more than one, may rear their head.
Word is that Anders Hove (Cesar Faison) is currently in negotiations with GH.

Hearing that Ethan's involvement in storylines is still going on for at least the next few months, whether this means that Nathan Parsons is sticking around or not remains to be seen.

Gossip has it to expect more GH Vets to make returns, some who recently left, some who have not been seen for quite some time. Some other names being bandied about include, Lucky, Alan, Bobbie, Audrey, Emily, and Jeff Webber. (Regarding Jeff Webber, he may or may NOT be played by Richard Dean Anderson...heard he was asked some time ago if he would consider a return and at that time he turned GH down...one name being tossed about as a possible substitute is that of Jerry ver Dorn, who most recently played Clint Buchanan on OLTL.) As always in Rumorville...believe it...or not!

If RDA won't come back as Jeff Webber, then I would absolutely LOVE Jerry verDorn. I miss him already and he's a fantastic actor. Then people couldn't complain about an OLTL takeover because its a major GH character that HAS to be recast. I actually would rather him do it than have RDA come back.

I wish there'd be a plausible way to retcon the deaths of Georgie, Emily, Alan and AJ. Losing all of them put a huge hole in the canvas. Bobbie coming back has been a long time coming and I'm sure, if well, Rachel Ames would come out of retirement to return as Audrey in a heartbeat.

I'm very happy that Nathan Parsons stays on canvas!
Ge0s one of the new addictions of these last years that I like and the storyline with Cassadines could be good ... much more now that Cassandra will go

Like Emma Samms it will be in a day or two guest spot for the next sweeps? GMAB GH is using the old scam to try to bring back viewers naming those people want to see. Trouble is they'll have to look fast before they are gone. (I tuned back in when Tristan first returned and they ruined his character's reputation.) He only had a few good scenes and before long he was dumped again. So how long will the returnees like Tristan, Finola etc. be on this time?

Anyway, Thanks Android!

Robert and Anna are back for the foreseeable future so I think they'll be on the canvas until GH wraps. The others like Emma Samms and Rick Springfield...I have to say I'm fine with them being short-term. Especially Rick Springfield. He isn't needed, but it will be nice to see him drop in and interact with Patrick and finally interact on-screen with Matt. Holly, I wouldn't mind seeing her stick around for a little while longer, but she's not necessary for a long-term role...especially with Nathan Parsons leaving. I like Emma Samms and it will be awesome to see her back on the show, but I'm fine with a short visit. A week or two is fine. I would prefer a month because I know I'm going to miss her when she's gone, but I think they are just reintroducing these characters for newer audience members. When the show ends they will all probably come back for one last appearance and they probably want everyone to know who they are.

Out of all the returns Robert and Anna are the ones that SHOULD be on canvas as stars of the show so I'm thrilled they are sticking around. Tristan and Finola are fantastic actors and I love their characters. I will say that I do hope they bring in Jeff Webber, played by whoever. He would be fun to see. I can't wait for Robin Mattson to come in as Heather Webber. She's awesome, but her runs stay short because she's such a whacko. Its hard to excuse keeping someone like that in town for a long run. I'm hoping they can pull it off because I really enjoy her. I'm also hoping for Kin Shriner. There is so much dead weight on the cast that they can get away with having all of these returns at once. I'm sure Heather comes in right after Holly is gone, so it may be a revolving door of vets but its a hell of a lot better than having to watch Maggie, Cassandra, Delores and whatever other random newbies they have eating up air time.
