^ My face watching DAYS

Wow - that is amazing...I wonder if it had anything to do with Whitney Houston's death the night before...it probably did...everyone wanted to watch to see how The Grammy's would deal with it.

After all... tomorrow is another day!

This is 100 percent because of Whitney Houston. Between this and the stuff about Sony jacking up the price of her music this week, it kind of makes me sick how many people are still making money off her while not really doing anything to address the wreckage of a life she left behind with her poor daughter.

I confess... I probably would not have bothered to watch the Grammys had I not been wanting to see how they'd react to Whitney, despite not really giving Whitney any thought at all in at least 5 years. It makes me feel a little bit like a rubbernecker though.

I watched to see about Whitney and Amy Winehouse (who got nothing but a photo, far as I can recall). But I also watched to see Adele perform and I think there were a lot of people like me. It was a good idea, nominating and rewarding someone who sold a crapload of albums and dominated radio for the past year.

Still, I'm amazed at the audience size.
