In honor of Valentine's Day, some of the cast of DAYS share their favorite romantic moments. Find out when your favorite actors were swept off their feet in this stroll down memory lane!

DAYS Insider: What is the most romantic thing you believe your character has ever done?

Kate Mansi: Abby fights for Chad's acceptance into her family because they judge him unfairly because he is a DiMera. Fighting for what you love/believe in is romantic!

Molly Burnett: I loved when Mel was a candy striper and she completely opened herself up to Nathan in the park and asked him for a second chance.

Christie Clark: Set Austin free, so my DAD wouldn't arrest him.

Sarah Brown: Agreeing to stay with her husband to protect someone she loves.

Matt Ashford: When he sang "Wonderful Wonderful" to Jennifer. Neither liked to sing nor cared to sing but he sang all the way to the end for her and didn't wimp out.

Patrick Muldoon: Boxing match from the '90s (Carrie).

DAYS Insider: Who do you think takes the cake as the most romantic on-screen DAYS couple?

Kate Mansi: Maggie and Victor.

Molly Burnett: Alice and Tom. Hands down. Don't think I haven't done my research and watched their scenes.

Christie Clark: Strawberries and Cream - Marlena and John.

Sarah Brown: Brady and Madison for sure! We're all romance all the time.

Matt Ashford: Doug and Julie. They got nothing else to do unfortunately. Romance is really in the eye of the beholder. I thought Jack and Jennifer were pretty romantic when they were working side by side at the Spectator.

Patrick Muldoon: I would love to say Austin and Carrie, but unfortunately, things have been pretty rough, so I'm gonna go with the Strawberries and Cream, aka John and Marlena.

DAYS Insider: Describe your most romantic date.

Kate Mansi: Weekend in the wine country!

Molly Burnett: For me, romance doesn't come with wine and strawberries... It comes when you're at your most vulnerable and the guy you're with notices and puts his arm around you.

Christie Clark: Wine, live music and pizza.

Matt Ashford: Meeting at the top of the Empire State Building.

Patrick Muldoon: I don't date. I just somehow wake up one day and I'm in the middle of yet another long-term relationship. I'm not sure how it happens... It just... happens!

DAYS Insider: Describe your most memorable Valentine's Day.

Kate Mansi: My dad took my sister and me on a daddy/daughter date and we got to skip school!

Molly Burnett: Casey and I snuck away to Vegas at the last second.

Christie Clark: Pizza at home. (Do you see a trend?)

Matt Ashford: First one with Emma and Grace. There was candy and strawberries everywhere.

Patrick Muldoon: Valentine's Day is more of a thing you better not mess up as a guy... It's not romantic for us. It's a job... a performance you better not screw up... They all kind of blend together... You know? Stress, flowers, reservations, chocolate, champagne, stress. Lol.

DAYS Insider: What is your favorite romantic movie?

Kate Mansi: "Notting Hill" and "Harold and Maude"

Molly Burnett: "The Notebook." So cliche, but who's more epic than Allie and Noah?!

Christie Clark: "The Notebook"

Sarah Brown: "Love Story"

Matt Ashford: "To Kill a Mocking Bird" is the most romantic movie. My favorite scene is when he misses his wife hearing his kids talking about their mother.

Patrick Muldoon: "The Notebook." In fact, characters in that movie are a lot like Austin and Carrie.

DAYS Insider: What is your favorite romantic song?

Kate Mansi: Paolo Nutini, "Loving You"

Molly Burnett: "We Will Meet Again" by Pierce Pettis

Christie Clark: "I Only Have Eyes for You" by the Flamingos

Sarah Brown: "I'll Stand By You"

Matt Ashford: "Black Bird" - The Beatles

Patrick Muldoon: "I Only Have Eyes for You" - The Flamingos, or "My Girl" - The Temptations

DAYS Insider: What is your idea of the "perfect date"?

Kate Mansi: Hiking with my dogs and my date.

Molly Burnett: Take me to a sports game, or a Drake concert. I'm yours.

Sarah Brown: I think the perfect date is when you are completely focused on the other person. The world could explode around you, and you wouldn't look away from your lover's eyes.

Matt Ashford: One with the beginning, middle and end. One with a great story to it!

Patrick Muldoon: Hmmm... I don't care where we are or what happens... I like to laugh... Enjoy the moment... whatever the night brings... Perfect date is all about who you are with not where you are... Someone who can dig that. Feel me?

Yeah, I was remembering the one where she sounded like a complete basket case and Nathan looked like he would like to run away and get as far from the crazy, needy person as he could.

Okay, if Kate Mansi thinks Victor and Maggie are the most romantic Days couple, she should go back and watch Abby's parents' romance or any of Days' great couples. My respect for Kate Mansi goes down a little there, but she hasn't been with the show long and doesn't know much about the past I'd guess, and my respect for her does go up with the Harold and Maude answer.

MA's answers are pretty good, though I wouldn't have gone with the "Wonderful, Wonderful" thing.

I though SB was a bit much pushing Bradison but I'm sure I would feel different if I agreed with her. PM sounded a bit jaded on relationships, or maybe he's being a realist. Valentine's Day is a lot of stress and money
I think SB spilled a tiny something when she said

KM thinks Maggie/Victor are the MOST romantic couple? Seriously? She needs to watch more Days clips on you-tube or something. Obviously she hasn't caught up on her own character's parents. Of course they are my favorite...but I think there are still quite a few others that I would put up above Maggie and Victor. Jack's "Wonderful, Wonderful" moment kind of made me cringe, but if you think about it...Jack really didn't have too many sweeping, romantic gestures so I guess this would be the biggest, just not my favorite. Patrick Muldoon...wow. Don't think I'd want to be his girlfriend, seems very jaded, but then I guess I lot of guys think that way and just don't say it out loud. Oh, and Sarah Brown? Brady/Madison are not all romance all the time. More like cheesy and pornographic. I didn't see much romance.

Bring back Jack!

Interesting selection of answers.

As a J&J fan I do disagree with Matt's choice for Jack - rooftop proposal for me. But I understand why he named Wonderful Wonderful - because it was so un-Jack and he did it because he thought Jennifer would love it. Willing to humiliate yourself in the name of love could be considered very romantic  .

I think some of the newer cast should look at some old clips because Maggie/Victor and Bradison as the most romantic couples?

Molly Burnett: Take me to a sports game
A "sports game?" I have never ever heard anyone refer to a football game or a basketball game as a "sports game." "The" game or "a" game, yes, no need to qualify it with "sports." She reminds me of the Family Guy cutaway foreign dudes who think their English is more convincingly authentic than it is but get certain phrases wrong.

I'd say the rooftop proposal is way better than the Wonderful Wonderful scene as far as romance goes. The only problem with it is that Jack is so nervous and Jennifer doesn't say "yes". :frownie: But I would have to say that the proposal itself is very romantic. I also like that MA throws in there that Jack and Jen were romantic while working at The Spectator. As work romances go...you can't beat them. Bradison work romance? Blech. :puke:

Muldoon and Clark referring to John and Marlena as Strawberries and Cream.

LOL at Burnett's little dig to those doubting she knows the show's history. Someone needs to direct those accusations towards Brown, especially if she thinks Brady and Madison are the most romantic couple in the show's history.
