To hell with the others, I'm finding Nicole to be a badass! When homegirl wants something, she can manipulate and threaten to get it. Aside from caving to EJ's hot sex because she fell in love (can't blame a woman for that!), I thought Nicole has been relatively bad ass opposite Kate, EJ, the mayors race, Jen, Abe, Lexie, Marlena, Will, Brady, etc. If she would go beat the shit out of Sami, I'll be full on fan! :) Edited by Alligato, Feb 16 2012, 01:45 PM.

LoL @ Joe Mascolo's flubbed line. "This was EJ's one chance to prove he's a man who can run this town rather than being a lap dog to the uh, the Bradys and the uh, the uh... uh... the other bunch, whatever their name is." What's this we always hear about the rushed shooting schedule elevating the performances and forcing everyone to bring their 'A' game? Yeah -- bullshit. |

So do I. I don't see Nicole as a wimp at all. I don't see Kate as one either. Stefano and EJ wouldn't be either if they had them be more active. I'm not sure it was a flubbed line, to be honest. To me, it seemed the line was written that way. I notice the show has lines of dialogue like that all the time and I hate it. It's juvenile. It reminds me of the kind of dialogue OLTL use to have at times and it was the weakest link of the show. Even the Culliton's are doing that now and I think it's all part of MarDar's decree back when they came on board to make the dialogue more realistic and contemporary, meaning they want the characters to talk and behave like real people would. |

I actually LOVED Joe Mascolo's flubbed line because it was SO old-school soap opera to me where they did EVERYTHING in one take because it was too expensive to edit video tape together and they only did retakes for a catastrophic failure like an utter breakdown in actors/dialog or part of the set falling in. That's one reason classic soaps so often used experienced talent with theater backgrounds because they were so used to having to act on the fly in such situations. Notice how easily Lauren Koslow stepped in, picked up the line, and carried on without even blinking? Those are 2 PROFESSIONAL actors. You throw a couple of pretty hair/fitness models in there and they go blank on a line and it's all "can we start over? I forgot my line and I look foolish." Personally, I wish all soaps were live again just for those moments of adreneline. As far as the rest of the episode goes, when one of the major highlights is Patrick Muldoon playing Austin's panicked guilt and anxious reactions to Abby's story over Carrie's shoulder, there are issues. IMO, Muldoon NAILED it today and did some major acting while having very little dialog. As far as this silly mayoral election story goes, there was not ONE SINGLE PART of this Salem election day that was either believeable or realistic. Clearly, no one in charge of this show has ever actually voted or watched any sort of election coverage on the news. And Lexie really needs to come down off of her judgmental cross. Next time she slams Abe for stealing debate questions, he should go "I have 4 words for you, woman -- Woman. Of. The. Year. Now sit the fuck down." IMO, any time a woman conspires to have an implanted brain chip switched on to turn her bestfriend into her evil alternate personality, she looses any and all future right to critcize anyone's bad behavior. And what the hell was Jennifer wearing? A gray dress with DARK hose and tan shoes? Really? And I thought Kate looked fine until I saw those gawdawful patterned stockings she was wearing with her suit. We won't even mention Nicole's hair which made it look like she auditioning for the role of Sandy in an upcoming road company of "Grease." Jack: "She's talking to Carrie" Jennifer: "Carrie? Carrie who? Carrie Reed?" Me: "No, bitch. Carrie Nation. How many fucking Carries do you really know on a first name basis?" Someone wake me when Salem has a new mayor who's NOT a regular character and we can put this stupid storyline to rest. Today's episode was directed by Karen Wilkins and written by Carolyn Culliton (who can only do so much with what she's given to work with). |

LOL - I thought that was a flubbed line too...haha..you could almost tell from his facial expression he wanted to burst out laughing. Pretty pathetic they didn't reshoot that scene...that was a huge flubbed line. |

I really, truly prefer Nicole's hair straight. But that color looks good on her. And this scene is boring so I'm searching for my fave AZ look so I can reminisce. |

Jennifer must really miss Daniel, and as a testament to that she's taken up tanning. |

You know...you forget that Kate and Nicole live in the same house. I need them to make that not forgettable. See...why can't Kate and Nicole both do this scene with martini in hand? LOL @ the end of that scene, though. Posted Image This is the closest I can find to how I preferred her look. But think longer, lighter hair. Idk why AZ doesn't run any hair changes by me. Probably because she's seen my hair. |

Does Lexie have set times that she calls to check on Theo. Meanwhile, I think they write Lexie and Abe as parents better than all the other parents of young children. They check in on him often enough, that it really doesn't matter that we never see him. Lexie needs louder shoes... |

Um...WHO DRESSED JENNIFER IN THAT MESS? Your shoes do NOT have to match your hair, but they should coordinate with the rest of you! |

I bet the people of Salem would appreciate it if all of the mayoral candidates and family wouldn't talk about them like this in the middle of the square. |

I like that Jennifer's upset that Abby didn't talk to her, and I really hope there's follow up to that. But I hope Jennifer has changed clothes by then. |

I couldn't get past the fact that the candidates and their employees were milling about as people were voting. Where I live (perhaps this is federal law too, I don't know), if someone working for a candidate comes within 100 feet of the polling area, the candidate can be disqualified. As for Joe M, I'm kind of sad he's been messing up his lines. I wish the show would either do cue cards for him or have him do a retake. |

LMAO @ Austin's face. But I really don't buy Carrie's shock over it all. The performance isn't the problem. It's just weird. |

I have multiple problems with everyone's reactions to the results. I'd think Abe should be upset that it was that close, lol. Seriously. Almost half of Salem voted for a known kidnapper, attempted murderer, and person cloner over him. He should be offended. And I don't understand why the DiMeras are so shocked. They know EJ didn't poll well after the debate. I can understand Nicole being shocked, but not the rest of them. |
