I'm not sure why, maybe because nothing else in this episode sounds entertaining, but I LMAO when Marlena calls Stefano a rodent!

have Ian play charming and smooth for a while before he showed his true nature. He's barely been in town for a few hours and he's already revealed himself as a vicious sociopath. The best Days bad guys of the past (such as Lawrence Alamain and Ernesto Toscano) were smarmy and gracious to a fault in public. They only showed their steely side in private or when pushed to an extreme.

I just realized that over all these years, DAYS always cast a FOREIGNER as the "bad guy". American's are always the "good guys". So lame:

Stefano, Victor (1980s Vic), Ernesto, EJ, Andre/Tony (for a while), Lawrence, and now Ian. All were big bad Europeans. They even made poor old Gus a bad guy in the end. SMH
Days is sooo formulaic!!! It's like they can't envision a villian unless he has an accent.

I'd like a villian to be an "nice all-American guy" on the outside, but a real bastard underneath. Ted Bundy style. That would shake things up on this show!

I still chuckle when I think about JAWN'S reaction in 2008, to Sami telling him he slept with Hope! LOVED IT!

^^^Never saw it since I only watched bits and pieces of that storyline, but I would love to see it. Sounds funny!

Friday sounds good. Looking forward to the John/Hope/Bo/Marlena scenes, and I'm excited for the flashbacks. I love when they show flashbacks from a long time ago, and I did really like this storyline so they should be cool to see.

Can't wait until we know for sure what Stefano read in his envelope. I wonder how long it will be until we find out.

Also loved Marlena calling Stefano a rodent. Hilarious!

LOL, if you ever get a chance to YouTube that Jawn/Sami scene please do. Jawn had a smirk on his face as if he was proud of himself for sleeping with Hope on his honeymoon, LOL! It was hilarious!

I LOVED this show! I'm Canadian so I watched it live without Spoilers and was giddy when I saw the sub sex flashback, WOOTY!

Yep, that is the great thing about having both original actors in this storyline with no recasts in their scenes. The show can show any flashbacks for Jope from that time, YAY! I hope they do! I wanna get some nice clear ones in HD on my DVD.

Yep, the Fab Four's scenes were awesome! I can't wait to see it again LIVE!

^^^Thanks, I found it. Those were some pretty great scenes! Someday, I'm gonna have to watch that storyline. I pretty much stopped watching the show when Drake was barely used in 2007 and didn't come back until the reboot. Obviously I missed quite a bit.

You're lucky you're Canadian. I would love to be able to watch the day ahead. But at least reading about it will let me know when a good episode is on. Looking forward to seeing the show later today.

Maybe we can get something interesting out of this storyline if we could get more Stefano/Marlena scenes. Joe and Dee and amazing together.

YAY! I'm glad you found it! Yep, that was a great show! Only two sets of scenes on that day and Drake and Alison were one of them.

It still blows me away when I see Drake's Jawn and how his Jawn and John are as different as night and day. He did an amazing job with that storyline and Jawn always had me ROTF!

LOL, you sound like me! I stopped watching after John's "funeral" and didn't start watching the show again until January of 2008 when Drake returned to the show! I stopped watching it again after his last show aired on 1/23/09 and didn't return to watching it until 9/26/11, Drake's first day back!

I don't understand a thing about all this John, Hope, Gina, Pawn stuff. I'm lost. It sounds like some sci-fi stuff. Anyone knows where I can read about what happened in the past with this so I can understand what is going on?

Nicole and EJ are perfect together. She has no issues with playing dirty. Morally speaking, they are cut from the same cloth.

The look on Jennifer's face at the end....she's frightened as hell. She is going to need Jack now more than ever.

*sigh*

I just really can't with some people today.

I do need someone to punch Lexie in the face simply because I really can't stand her hypocritical ass. As someone so eloquently said on Twitter, she and Jennifer need to have a seat.

Also, I HATE this show's warped sense of right and wrong. Shooting people in the head and burying them alive and whatnot are all excusable and understandable, but things like cheating on a debate or a spouse (in Chloe's case) is the WORST thing ever and deserves a public stoning in the middle of HTS.

Today's show was directed by Herb Stein & written by Richard Culliton.

Poor Stefano. Yesterday he was being an ass but today I felt sad for him. EJ not being his bio son could only get that reaction out of him. I can't wait to see EJ's reaction. Oh the drama.

Love it that Marlene and Darrell showed the flashback with John saying it was GINA on the sub. John and Hope are themselves this time. Their friendship is coming through loud and clear!

Jack will always help Jen. She's the mother of his children and deep down he will always love her. However, that doesn't mean that he will still want her on an emotional level.

Ian beating down Brady with his cane was one of the funniest things I've seen on this show in a while. I realize that it probably wasn't intended to be funny but it cracked me the hell up! Go Ian (and his cane)!
