If you haven't heard by now and I am sure many of you have, Katie Couric has reportedly stated she would love for GH to be the lead-in for her new show this fall. But that could be because she doesn’t want to face a backlash from daytime fans if GH is cancelled. It’s well-known that this backlash is the reason “The Chew” and “The Revolution” are fairing so poorly in the ratings. But will ABC’s Paul Lee listen? It’s possible. Lee has publicly stated no decision has been made yet regarding GH’s future, but with Couric’s support of GH, things look more promising that GH may be given a reprieve. Here's hoping!!

Check out this article and quotes from various people about the show and it's changes.

Now that Patrick has decide to do surgery on Jason look for changes in Mr. Morgan you didn't see coming. This is where the Q's will become prominent in a big way. Think Susan Moore murder. There may be some loopholes that will allow the writers to make some interesting changes and take advantage of this and tie into the current storyline. This may also include Scotty Baldwin if Shriner returns and Heather who may also be involved in this story to some extend as she also has story with Stephen and I am also hearing with Alexis........Robert will be around for 6 episodes but he leaves with much more story left to tell. Robert is more "in the know" than you, and a few characters, might think. Keep that in mind........RC will finish out current stories while building new ones. Exits are coming, from newer people, and established players and all this remains a stalemate until GH's future is established.....For those of you who are wondering when John McBain arrives it is on Tuesday, March 13th. McBain is now back in the FBI, not working for the PCPD, and expect conflict between he and Dante.......I understand the impatience Laura fans feel for her return. You will hear more and more about Laura. There is alot work to do ahead of time for her possible return. Nearly every single thing you've heard about Laura over the last several years will change. It might even seem jarring to newer viewers who have become accustomed to the memory of Laura. All I have been told is that "something" is on the books, my source sounds unwavering despite how it looks......The road to tying the Spencers, Cassadines, Scorpios, Qs and Corinthos families together starts with the Ice Princess as discussed between Cole and Starr when they were going to Port Charles before the car accident. RC loves digging up old details and connections long forgotten.....What if Scott Baldwin was Jason's real father and this is the secret that has been hidden all these years?..... What if Helena was behind Robin's "death"/disappearance, and also has others as well?..... What if Anthony Geary really really is calling it quits?...What if Sam gave birth and someone stole the baby?....One small piece of information....Keep Alan on your minds in the coming months.
