But it's the advertisers that established the coveted demos for daytime dramas. The PTB of the Soaps just acquiesced and started aiming for those demos.

GH had Robin's funeral today and it was all kinds of sad, and I'm usually not a Jason fan, but the gutted look on his face when Carly told him of Robin's death was heartbreaking.

I've watched it for 2 weeks now and am enjoying it, hopefully they can have a steady increase in ratings over the next couple of months. Would suck to lose another soap I'm actually enjoying.

This isn't even in my top twenty favorite times in Days history. But I think the last two weeks have been better. They were definitely better than the main sweeps weeks.

Days lost viewers from sweeps and from last year. Seems to be a pattern for them. They get a couple of promising storylines going and then they just don't carry them through or they are dropped for weeks and fans lose interest. It doesn't help either that some characters aren't featured very often and their storylines get lost in the shuffle.
