True Blood- looking forward to Chris Meloni next season 9. Game of Thrones- another show I'm excited for to start again 10. Shameless- just discovered this show a few months ago 11. I'm kind of off tv shows that have plots right now, I think. 1. Vampire Diaries 2. Happy Endings- the best frickin' comedy in the history of time...that's my opinion right now, anyway. 3. Modern Family 4. Archer 5. RuPaul's Drag Race/Untucked 6. Face Off 7. Game of Thrones- marathon'd the last season in 2 days, it's awesome. 8. The Walking Dead- hanging on, two great episodes and a badass-to-OK finale can't overwhelm the season for me. 9. The Killing 10. The River 11. Hoarders 12. Tabatha Takes Over 13. Various crap on Bravo or HGTV- great background noise, all kind of the same thing. 14. American Horror Story 15. Secret Circle (not my choice) 16. Grimm (also not my choice) 17. ANTM, 'til the bitter end. I wanted to check out: Awake Homeland Once Upon a Time GCB Edited by px780, Mar 19 2012, 06:19 PM.

This is the can't miss list for me. Numbering means nothing - I can't order them, they are all so close... 1. Homeland 2. American Horror Story 3. Game of Thrones 4. The Borgias 5. Community 6. Falling Skies 7. Happy Endings 8. Enlightened 9. The Killing 10. Shameless 11. Boss 12. House of Lies 13. Workaholics 14. Breaking In 15. Smash The OK 1. 30 Rock 2. Nurse Jackie 3. The Big C 4. Episodes 5. Revenge - Started great, not sure now. 6. The Office - I half agree it should have ended when Steve Carrel left. The last few episodes of the last season were the funniest in years. It was creepy James Spader and the focus on Andy that killed the show. The Office is an ensemble show, with a strong developed ensemble and that was forgotten. Time to kill it, but 8 seasons down I'll watch to the end lol. 7. Damages - One season left and then it's done. Last season was awful, Patty seemed impotent and all the characters felt one dimensional. Such a shame it came to this. Holding out this new season will be better. 8. GCB - Giving it a shot, not 100% sold but its ok Dropped 1. Modern Family - same script every week 2. Californication - see above 3. Dexter - uggh, see the Dexter thread lol Looking Forward 1. VEEP 2. Girls 3. Downton Abbey 4. Suburgatory - I saw 6 episodes, still want to come back to it. Gonna take a look at, but not overly excited: 1. Bent 2. Apartment 23 3. Touch Its amazing how much more TV one can watch when you stop watching soaps religiously. |

Has anyone else watched BBC's Sherlock? It's sooooo good! When I originally read the premise - having Holmes and Watson in the 21st century - I was skeptical. Being a huge fan of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories, I felt that this chronological decision was a huge deviation, one that turned me off originally. But I'm pleasantly surprised, they've pulled it really well, not to mention this show's casting consists probably of my all-time favorite on-screen adaptation of the Holmes/Watson duo! These actors make Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law look like horrible casting choices now, and I was a fan of Guy Ritchie's films. If you haven't watched this, you should really check it out - it's my favorite show at the moment. There's not a lot of episodes to watch either - however each episode is 2 hours (1.5 without commercials), so I suppose that kind of compensates. |

Okay, so I finally checked out Game of Thrones, and I am SOOOOO addicted! I had a hard time believing the show would be as good as people went on about... but it's even better if that's even possible! I'm only at the end of season 1 right now, but so far it has not disappointed. I really want to check out the books now, too! |

I actually don't watch much TV any more, so my list is pretty puny: 1. Mad Men (such a smart show, one of few where I actually believe that series decay won't happen) 2. The Good Wife 3. Breaking Bad ... ... ........ 4. Game Of Thrones (to totally swim against the tide here, this show really disappoints me despite it's excellent production values; but maybe that's because I read the books first). .... ........ ............................. ................................................ 5. Once Upon a Time (I watch it because it's on in my house basically; it's fun cheese, and I like Robert Carlyle. When it's on I also watch Downton Abbey but not sure I'll continue after S2. To watch: Dexter Homeland |
