The recap show on Tuesday had every dance over two weeks that was shown in four hours of television...in an hour. That shows how much time DWTS wastes on anything, but dancing, yikes.
I know...I couldn't believe that. Lately I've get frustrated with the length of these shows, but so far this season it's been going by faster because I enjoy watching more than one or two dancers.

Tonight should be interesting,I hear Jaleel White had a total diva breakdown during weekend rehearsal,he stepped on Kim's feet and yelled at producers for putting him with "stupid partner" and other dancers/contestants had to come into their studio to get him to cool it,yelled at another dancer and said he was acting like a nosy neighbor who cannot mind their own business, like the kind he played on "Family Matters", well if this is true,he's lost my vote.

Jaleel admitted after the show that there was an incident, but the media made it out to be more dramatic than it really was.

No matter what you think, I DO love you.

I thought it would be Gavin but I'm okay with Jack leaving. He seemed genuinely surprised he was booted though.

Anyone catch what the new rule was? Something about a last dance battle faceoff for the bottom 2?

I read where the show had gotten loads of complaints about the voting system in that people who were good at dancing were getting booted off while those that aren't as good are staying on-- the whole popularity contest thing. So, for the next few weeks, the audience can still vote but the judges will have final say. The bottom two will dance for the judges and they will decide who goes. This may be interesting.

Thanks. I think that's so stupid. Why bother having people call in and vote if at the end of the day the judges decide who gets to leave and who gets to stay? The way things are judged at the final 3, the judges pretty much pick the winner anyway or at least severely handicap the contestant they want to lose.

I must have missed when they said they were going to do that. It isn't the first time though, I remember them doing that in other seasons.

Something about Jack bothered me, so I am not bothered that he left. I love Tristan, but I hope Gladys goes soon.

Sherri mentioned it on the view this morning, for whoever is in the bottom 2 they dance for the judges and the they decide who leaves.

I swear those judges have it out for Maksim. I'm not a ballroom expert but pretty sure Melissa/Maks quickstep was better than Gladys/Tristans (and I love me some Gladys and don't want her booted early) but how exactly did they score the same points or how did Gavin's awkward dance get him a higher score than Maks and Melissa?

I hate that Mark's partner is so good because that means I'll have to suffer week after week of Mark :(
Carrie Ann as a hate on for Maks. They are always sparring. He speaks up to all the judges. I like Maks, he does have an ego but I think they have to . See how long Len is in a good mood for...can't possibly last.
PS
Get rid of Brooke Burke, she's terrible!!!!

I'm with you on getting rid of Brooke Burke. She brings nothing to the show. Maks might be an ass but I like when he calls out the judges for their favoritism...because the judges do have them and they don't even try to hide it.

Brooke is too wooden, they need someone snappy who can match Tom.

Brooke has had enough time to warm up...and she hasn't lol. I don't think it's a good fit for her--she can't go with the flow, everything's too rehearsed.

Brooke makes me miss Samantha terribly. At times I think she asks questions that are very insensitive. It's like this. Hey *******, the judges just told you that you stink. How does that make you feel? Yes some of the stars are not good dancers but I don't think underscoring their embarrassment is entertaining.

In regards to the judging, I have felt in past seasons that some under par dancers have hung on while better dancers were ushered out too early. I understand popularity but the quality of dance should come first. Last season I felt that Ralph Macchio was a good dancer but the judges seemed to underscore him consistently while praising the uninspired efforts of a couple of others. It's frustrating to see some do well and not get the scores while lesser dancers are coddled and saved by votes. Generally the cream does rise to the top but I do feel some years the judges "annoint" a star to promote to the end.
