FIVE TIE FOR LEAD: For the first time since March 2006, there was a 5-way tie for the monthly episode leader. Also, all 5 actors are making their first appearance as leaders in 2012. Kristian Alfonso (Hope) leads for the first time since September 2011; Galen Gering (Rafe) leads for the first time since December 2011; Drake Hogestyn (John) leads for the first time since June 2008; Lauren Koslow (Kate) leads for the first time since February 2005; and Alison Sweeney (Sami) leads for the first time since August 2010.
LAUREN'S ONCE-A-DECADE APPEARANCE: Lauren Koslow (Kate) was the monthly episode leader for just the third time in her 16-year "Days" career. She has topped the list just once a decade during her time on "Days": September 1998, February 2005 and March 2012.

||Thanks Jason--always interesting.|

||I'm really surprised Koslow hasn't led more months than that, especially in early 2001 when she got alot of airtime in the first few months of that year and 2005 (aside from the one month listed) when she was featured alot the first half of that year.|

||Not a fan of the top two but an average of 13 episodes a month just isn't very much.|

1-4 and 7-10 are the very reasons I refuse to watch this nightmare show everyday! too much of the same boring characters everyday.

Great statistics Jason. I did some calculation on my own using your numbers and I wonder if they will be even able to use all Missy´s guaranteed episodes. This is how much she was on so far:
2010 - 11 episodes from 36 total
2011 - 134 episodes from 254 total
2012 - 22 episodes from 63 so far
Accepting your quess and she has 3eps per week contract she is now +47 episodes (167 episodes used vs. 210 guaranted) and I think she will add atleast another 20 till July based on how little she tapes. That means as for now she has approx. 60+60 (5 months left on her contract * 12 guaranted episodes per month) episodes to burn till her contract finishes.
I did Matt too, but he is relatively in norm. As for now he is on 52 episodes from 132 total. With the quessed 2eps per week guarantee he is even as he has used the exact 52 episodes from 52 guaranted.

||Cool. Glad great characters like John and Rafe are being featured well.|

||Not happy that Deidre Hall has dropped out of the top 10. Really don't need to see that much of Abby or Madison!|

Drake Hogestyn fan FOREVER and for ALWAYS!
I agree, I'd say the show is more balanced since the reset, than it has been in a LONG time.
|DrewHamilton||Mar 30 2012, 11:56 AM Post #13|
||Both lists are pretty decent. I'm surprised Hall isn't featured in the top 10 for either list. It seems like she's on more than she is, apparently.|
|lysie||Mar 30 2012, 12:20 PM Post #14|
She was on a good bit this week but I think she was on maybe once a week the rest of the month.
|Jason47||Mar 30 2012, 01:55 PM Post #15|
Missy's yearly contract cycles run from airdates of November 12-November 11 though, so based on those numbers, she appeared in 139 episodes her first year, a little under 3 per week.
Since November 12, 2011 (her first contract cycle since the "reboot" in September), she's been in 38 episodes.
38 episodes in 20 weeks, so her guarantee now seems to be 2 episodes per week.
So, with 2 per week, that means she can appear in around 66 more episodes from April through mid-November.

Killing myself slowly
Hall, Reckell, Ashford, Reeves not in the Top 10, and Hogestyn is barely holding on to #10...I think we have Lisa Hesser to blame for this...ever since that cunt showed up the Vets have got the shaft screen-wise and Galen Gering (her little star on PASSIONS) is EVERYWHERE!
