Thanks for posting. Still dismal ratings, but at least a positive movement. |

I guess I owe someone an apology. They've been saying for weeks wait until Spring Break is over and it looks like they were right.

Soaps skew old now. 21%-24% is not great. GH has the edge now over the others.

GH barely gained and is down significantly from last year, so I don't know if it's enough of an edge. The show has been hyped as fantastic for months now yet the ratings struggle. |

Look at that. Funny when things start getting interesting on Days again- they rebound. This show is looking to be must see for Sweeps with Lexie's illness and the safehouse drama.

I agree. They may not have had the best ratings at first, but at least give them a year+ to show what they can do. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the ratings start to increase as we get into May sweeps. It sounds like good stuff. |

Never blame MarDar for the Ratings. They are trying so hard to revive the ratings. Which head writers are responsible for HUGE Days Decline: Dena Higley (2003), Hogan Sheffer (2006-2008), Dena Higley (2008-2011, except 2009 and beginning of 2010.)

YEAH! Love the ratings for when John and Marlena and Bo and Hope reunited on Friday! Usually Friday is the lowest day of the week. So nice to see! Ditto for the cute Lumi camping scenes!

A one week uptic doesn't mean much. Plus days is still down in their key demo. And if this is a case for keeping the writers I could use that same argument for Y&R and that writing team had needed to go for ages. Gh is dreadful. All soaps rise and they get nothing. Of course when there were big drops last week, GH was just stagnant but again their demos are awful. B&B is the best show, structure wise and direction wise. Who would have ever said that a year ago. |

Very solid Friday for DAYS. I haven't watched the show in weeks, but I do need to catch up. I hear things are actually picking up for once and the usual boring SOD articles actually sounded intriguing. Huge rise in the ratings for DAYS and I can't believe they are up from last year. The ratings sucked last year, but B&B has been the only positive soap for a while now. Good to see DAYS surging even if it doesn't last. Makes the firings seem even more stupid. They don't know what's working and what isn't when they're taping so far ahead. I guess the writers would already be fired from weeks of sinking ratings, but I think their stories might finally be kicking into overdrive. Sad. Corday just cannot make the right moves! |

Maybe this has something to do with SoapNet going out? I assumed we might see a bump for some of these shows...
