I'm wondering if JC just went off script and started to ramble, because the look on JM face was like, WTF?
None of what she said made sense, and normally, they pronounce you man and wife BEFORE they say to kiss the bride.

I wondered about kissing the bride too before pronouncing them man and wife. JC was really rambling today and I don't think alll of that was in the script although they go over the scenes before wrapping them up.

Person almost wonders if JC is well. The old girl has had health issues and maybe they just let her ad-lib her lines all she wants.
IMO she doesn't look real well...

I agree with you, she hasn't looked well in quite some time, she looks very frail. I think she just forgot her lines and was just rambling.
I really don't look for her to be with the show much longer. :shame:

I don't know if they are still bringing her to the set in a wheelchair but right after she supposidly got over her health issues and came back to the show they were bringing her to the set in a wheelchair and she still looks bad to me. She is very thin and looks like she has a hard times with her lines when just a year or so ago she seemed sharp as a tack.

I wonder they won't start an Alzheimer's storyline. Can't remember (lol, unintentional) if they've had one or not. Poor Murph. I'm sure when she dies he won't have any troubles finding a nice young lady to hang on his arm. One that will bounce from one senior citizen to another...

I didn't know she was in a wheel chair, although, I did notice she wobbled a little and was standing up against something as if to steady herself.
That's so sad.

I read that her son brings her everyday when she has scenes to do in the wheelchair. I know she has osteoprosis very bad. Her back seems to be huntching up more everyday which is a sign of osteoprosis. I feel sorry for her because it can be very painful and weak bones are so easy to break. she could break a bone with one wrong move if it is as bad as I think it is.
I really think she needs to retire but she made a statement in a interview that she would work as long as she is walking. She needs to enjoy life until the last. She isn't getting any younger. Although work is a enjoyment for some.

You gotta give her credit, I've got arthritis in my hip and no cartilege in one knee, it's very painful, I can't even imagine working at anything. She's a trouper, that's for sure.
Show won't be the same if she retires, although Michael learned did a great job filling in for her, imo.

I have extreme osteoprosis and if I even hit my hand on something just the wrong way or a little too hard I could break my hand. I broke my hip in 5 places from a fall on the floor that wasn't all that bad a fall. It was caused from osteoprosis and this was at the age of 54. I had 4 surgeries to repair that hip and it still hurts 15 years later. I get bad pains in my arms and legs, feet and hips from osteoprosis so I know what it feels like.
If JC is has a bad enough case of osteoprosis which I think she does then it must be painful for her to do her scenes without holding onto something and taking breaks during the during the day because some of the scenes take a long time to shoot.

God, the last good Alzheimer's storyline I can recall happened on As the World Turns many many years ago. It struck Nancy's husband and I believe he eventually succumbed to it. My step-dad is experiencing this and it brings back so many memories of how he was mean to Nancy, etc.

As for Jeanne Cooper. I have noticed this, too. I wonder if TPTB would be brave enough to write a death storyline (for real this time) like One Life to Live did with Phil Carey's Asa character in 2007? Carey passed away two or three years after his character did.

Perhaps watching a character she played for 38 years, pass on, might be a bit much for Cooper.

I want her on the show too but not if she is sick or it is pulling her down. she does need to retire if her health is failing. Pushing herself could be the worse thing for her. If it comes time for her to retire it would be nice if they just left saying she and Murphy were going to some nice quiet retirement area and leave the show together.

agreed, but I don't want to watch her disintergrate right before our eyes, or one bright day see on the news that she died, like a couple of other soap stars have.
