So EJ finally gets confirmation that he is the baby daddy......FINALLY! I wished it happened sooner. I am glad to have this story moving along, now if they can just get Nicole away from Daniel, and revive EJ's badassness, I will be happy.

Changing positions.

Rafe and Spencer realize they can’t directly confront EJ about their suspicions so Rafe simply dares Elvis to take a lie detector test. After the cops leave, William shows up and finds his boss acting frazzled. When EJ leaves him alone, Will discovers the paternity test sticking out of its hiding spot and actually reads it this time. He shoves it in his pocket as EJ returns and reminds him that he’s the top in their relationship. Will wanders off, sticks the evidence in a safe and then returns to Casa DiMera to tell EJ their relationship is about to change. He reveals that he knows he is not Stefano’s legitimate heir and holds all of the proof to out him. He demands that EJ give him back his loft, his car and all of his power. He wants Elvis to teach him everything he knows and make him a man. Just to make things clear, William happily tells him that he’s all his now. At first, EJ refuses to give him an inch. However, by the end of the day, he agrees to Will’s idea that he should take the polygraph test.

Sami bumps into her sister and notices she’s pregnant. Furious that no one told her earlier, she has a tantrum and suggests that Rafe must be the father. Marlena tries to calm the feuding siblings but that only makes things worse. Sami storms off to tear into Rafe. He insists he’s never knocked up anyone. Elvis walks by just in time to hear this. EJ fumes. Rafe tries to talk his way out of it and then advises Sami to keep her son away from Elvis. The cop walks off and runs into Carrie. She just went to an ultrasound with Austin where she vowed that she would be totally committed to their marriage. They resist their passion for each other, but it’s really hard for Rafe and he almost jumps into her arms. He pulls back and promises to keep his distance. She goes home and tries having sex with Austin to get her mind off of the other man. That doesn’t go too well. She runs into the cop again and tells him she’s having a hard time being with Austin, who just happens to walk in on their conversation.

Nicole is surprised to find that Daniel slept beside her all night. They have brunch and try getting to know each other better. That mostly consists of her quizzing him about his habit of sleeping with his patients. They don’t know what to call what they have. The doctor hides in her room when Rafe drops by to check on her. Once she’s alone with Daniel again, he tells her he won’t be anyone’s back-up plan. This leads to more lusty staring.

Trapped in captivity, Mel discovers that she has a not-so-secret admirer. Andrew has become smitten with his yapping captive. She chucks tea in his face and tries to run so he knocks her out. Chad’s still clueless about where she is. Gabi calls Andrew to hurry up and do another stalker routine to keep Chad clinging to her. Andrew slips up and tells Gabi that he’s holding her rival captive. He calms her down and warns her that she’s implicated in the whole mess. She agrees to take advantage of the situation.

Brady comes down off his latest high and tries to convince Madison that Ian has been doping him up. She leaves for a meeting and he sneaks out to score some drugs. When he gets them, he manages to resist temptation. When he tells Madi this later, she doesn’t believe him. Meanwhile, Kate is still skeptical of Ian’s insistence that he hasn’t been drugging Brady. And Abby and Cam go for a picnic with Kayla, Abe and the kids. Abby hears Kayla talking about breaking up with Steve. The women confide in each other. Abby tells Kay about her feelings for Cameron as Cam tells Abe about his feelings for Abigail.

On the fence with more Super-cop Rafe bullshit and with the Ej/Will stuff. There's moments, but I've been increasingly bored these last several weeks. I am glad that Will will be holding the cards for now, though. that changes it up a LITTLE bit.

Sami... :yawnz: :eyeroll:

Carrie/Rafe.... :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:

Nicole...I just can't. I have been enjoying her and Taniel's banter but I just cannot overlook her pregnancy. And the fact that she is "showing" and all makes me want to vomit.

And OF COURSE andrew becomes "smitten" with Melanie. God...this fucking show. Bitch is leaving and all men in her age group besides Ugly Frankleno have to be bewitched by her. Never mind the fact that Abby & Gabi are both a million times more attractive than she is.

Brady/Ian...I wish I cared.

And lastly why the FUCK are Abe & Kayla being used to pimp Abby & FrankenUgly????? I suppose that since Abe and Leno have known each other for ten minutes it's like they are brothers now. GMAFB. I honestly still don't see why the Hell Kayla is even in town at all.

Please write 4 Bryan Dattilo, Give him a love interest.

So it looks like Daniel is being used and he knows it by the end of the week. Rafe spills the beans that he never fathered any one. Rafe is so right, Will needs to be kept away from the Dimera's and so does Sami.
I high;ly doubt Will will rule by the Dimera's side for any length of time. Psst, Will. Tell Ej he can not ever go near your mother!

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

Hmmm...up to now MarDar were really good about acknowledging the holidays so I'm surprised there doesn't appear to be any mention of the 4th of July.

I hate it when they play EJ as such a dumbass in the Nicole/Rafe lie. He's going to flat out hear Rafe say he isn't the father...and I'm willing to bet we're still left with months of Nicole denying that EJ is her baby daddy and insisting Rafe is. It's like the never ending ferris wheel of suck. Meanwhile, Nicole is getting down and dirty w/Dr. Dan at an increasingly frequent pace it seems.

The Melanie stuff...I wish they'd just shoot me now. Or better yet...shoot her.

Come on Ron, We are counting on YOU !!

Does anyone else get the feeling that something catastrophic is going to happen to Will as a result of his association with EJ? Like maybe he almost dies or something? Coma? I don't know, but there are far too many people saying that Will should stay away from Ej-- Sonny, Lucas, Sami, Rafe...it's like the entire town is trying to tell anyone that would listen that Will is going to be hurt somehow by working for Ej.

I am hoping something catastrophic happens to someone he cares about, say Sonny maybe.

I know I have said in the past (like yesterday) that I have not liked seeing Will act like a bit of quivering, hurt puppy around EJ, who has had his bully moments IMO. And while I don't think those opinions were wrong necessarily, and while I wanted to see Will turn the tables on EJ and am thus glad to see it happening now, these spoilers leaves me rather....meh.... Maybe this is my monkey's paw.

I am starting to change my mind, and I sort of wouldn't mind seeing Will kicked around some more. As I said in another thread, I want something to happen to burst this bubble of his slightly, maybe leave him feeling some regret or remorse or whathaveyou for being a bit of a self-satisfied prick (junior prick).

Maybe my heart has hardened against him a little after seeing today's scenes, but I am not such a big fan at the moment. I dunno.

So, anyway, I am all for some kind of catastrophe befalling Will. Maybe it'll be whatever happens before the Olympic break.

What strange spoilers. I could see EJ giving Will legal advice, but the other way around? Apparently they really needed to drive it home that the tables were turned. Good for him honing his blackmailing skills, though.

Rafe really sucks. Why did he get entangled in Nicole's drama if he wasn't in it for the long haul? And EJ had better be soundproofing a room to put Nicole in until she gives birth.

Looking forward to the danicole stuff. Did I miss it, or do we not know why she's in the hospital?

There's no way that Brady shouldn't realize he's on drugs.

I have one thing to say. Gabi, it isn't an impossible decision just have Andrews fine behind kill Melanie and throw her annoying ass in whatever body of water Salem happens to have that week. As for the rest so far all I can say is BORED *in Penny's voice from Big Bang Theory.*
Assuming Gabi's decision is whether to come clean about hiring Andrew to stalk her because he's kidnapped Melanie or to keep quiet, that is not an impossible situation. I'm not even sure if Gabi has committed a crime. All she's done is hire someone to facilitate her lies to her friends and family. She's gone out of her way not to report the falsehoods to the police. She's done wrong, but nothing illegal.

If she finds out Andrew had committed the serious crime of kidnapping Melanie, she's not on the hook for anything but being stupid if and only if she reports Andrew right away. Maybe minor fraud if I've missed something, but I don't think so. But if she keeps quiet, she's an accessory.

There's no moral dilemma here, and not a whit of precedence to suggest Gabi is THAT big of a psycho or even a coward to let Andrew carry on.
I think the decision IS to come clean or stay quiet but I don't think Gabi is worried about the legal side of things as much as the emotional ramifications. Everyone will be angry, disappointed and worried about her sanity. But since she is so in love I'm sure she is most worried about losing Chad which is pretty much a given if this comes out. None of this however changes my original opinion however. I still think they should kill melanie and save Salem from her bouncing annoying ass.

Either Will or Sami....I can see something happening to Sami too.

Oh and Ej hears Rafe say he didn't father 'ANY' children but he still believes that Nicole's kid is Rafe's? The guy is a moron.

What a lameass week. It doesn't look like anything is happening at all. I'm interested to see how the "turning the tables" dynamic plays out with Ejill and to see if Danicole stay hot or if they get lame now that they are "growing closer." Other than that, big giant yawn.

This really surprises me that they didn't have the 4th of July BBQ. MarDar seem to be very good with celebrating holidays/important dates. I totally expected them to have something for the day. Perhaps this is where thing start to bunch up. Maybe at this point, they knew their writing duties would be over soon, and were unable to squeeze in anything holiday related.

I liked that MarDar recognized Holidays, so hopefully TomSell will have that continue.
I would like to see a Brady/Horton 4th of July celebration and am bummed we're not going to this year.
It's nice to see moments when the drama is set aside and families get together for celebrations! Plus it's a good way to remind viewer of the relations.
