I'm so happy for the show. So underrated. The ratings IMO really are well deserved! I hope they get an even bigger increase for this weeks classically written and stunningly produced episodes!

very happy about the ratings drop for DAYS and GH, they deserve to lose viewers. As for B&B and Y&R, they have been both been doing pretty good lately so they deserve these gains.

GET EM STEPH!!

Days is lucky it didn't lose more with the US Open preemptions it had. They usually do terrible when they have scattered preemptions. To me, this is a good showing for them all things considered.

ICAM. There have been days I have felt this triangle has been repetitive but overall B&B has been consistantly good classic soap the past 6 to 9 months. And a fresh younger likable cast. The past 2 weeks in Italy has been stunning, Deacons scenes with Hope warm and sad, and Steffy kind of heartbreaking.

Pre-emptions at the end of the week really work in Days' favor.

Pre-emptions at the end of the week really work in Days' favor.
They would work wonders for most shows but especially Days and GH, who strive to get the younger audience. That's one reason why I think if soaps need to slash budget they should think about going to a 4 days a week format because the further you get into the week the less audience there seems to be most weeks. It seems the end of the week episodes are the most DVRed and sometimes people don't even get to watching them. That isn't good, especially when you consider how big the "Friday cliffhanger" once was. It's rare that a show actually gains viewers later in the week nowadays.

I also have to correct what I said in my previous post because I did not notice that Days did not count Thursday and Friday. Good for them. In years past, they counted those days and it hurt their number severely. That was the right move.

Looks like the new writing team isn't helping GH much. I like Todd and McBain - but the pacing and stories feel too much like OLTL. Fast paced camp.
