I can't believe Sonny is saying it either given how he's behaved like an asexual the whole time he's been on the show. Contrived! |

Thats already hashed and done. We all know it was Lucas who saved Sami from that. That was mostly Kate's doing. Sorry, that does not wash with me and will not ever wash with me. NEXT! |

I've added links showing that Lucas was all too happy to lie and have Sami sent to prison. Yes, it's already been hashed out and I'm not going to argue about it and don't expect anyone to change their mind, but I don't have to sit back and watch history be rewritten either. Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

As are all the other tired arguments/debates about the things characters have done to one another in the past. I agree - it's all hashed and done. Let's focus on where we are now and move forward...with ALL of the characters. |

I just love Ejole no matter how long they keep them apart or how much they try to diminish their chemistry they are magic on screen. I feel the love and passion and the cat and mouse game is just starting I LOVE it. I will actually watch today but of course I have to thank God for the FF button cause most of this is still crap on a cracker. |

Gone, But Not Forgotten!

That is exactly how I saw the epi. I would like to say it seemed like that from an impartial viewpoint. Epi was dull, drama low, lots of strung together discussions. Perhaps they were interesting discussion for some of fans' favorite couples, but so much more could have been made from this stuff. I find it Funny how EJami, Lumi, Ejill Ejole see it from a totally different point of view. Just goes to show you that MARDAR were ineffective at their job and fans are glad to see and get a glimmer of their favs on screen and thrive on crumbs being thrown their way. I hate this writing style, I hate the show not having rooting couples clearly defined just to appease fanbases. Garbage in, garbage out! |

I agree with you both. Though I'm long past caring about Lumi since I think they were dead the last time they were together, I miss the Lumi of old - many people will say they are boring right now because they ARE. But they haven't been in the past. Most of what I loved about Lumi in the 90's was the back and forth chemistry between the two actors which is now lacking. |

It might be over for some but for others, clearly it's not. Everyone "forgives" whatever they want but that doesn't erase it for all viewers. Though I was glad Lucas saved Sami from the lethal injection it was also not just him but the phone call that came in at the same time. But to be honest, I hated him for not coming forward earlier and it was the only time that I wasn't rooting for him at all. He was a cowardly child then and I was glad when he got what was coming to him (by way of Sami refusing to mend fences) because he didn't deserve it. (It was odd to me because I usually side with Lucas). But anyway over and done with and not forgotten by all. Just like what we've "forgiven" between Ejami will not always be forgotten by others. It's the same thing. |

After having seen the scenes with Ejami, I must say that they're definitely back in business. I really experienced bouts of nostalgia and had flashbacks of their scenes back in 2007. It's a shame how DAYS has been treading water these past few years, neglecting this outstanding chemistry and multitude of potential in this couple. Something that MARDAR did well, it's the duo Will and EJ. That was spot on in many areas - the chemistry is fabulous and the dynamics between them never gets boring. When I'm zoning in on the telly, I need that extra that will keep me watching. Will and EJ has this x-factor together just as EJ and Sami has it, too. To sum it all up, it remains to be seen what will happen this fall. |

Well, you know, shipper that I am....I thought Lumi were great pretty much always, in the early 90s, late 90s, in the early 00s, around 2007 (actually one of my fave times for them, minus a certain mr. someone). There were rough patches definitely, some downright nasty moments, and years I don't revisit as much as others. But that is what made them a roller coaster, that is what sort of made them epic for me, and even "complex", a term that is wont to be bandied about. And I think they could be great again - ship hasn't sailed for me. And, you know, Monday's scenes were great, and the scenes when Lucas first came back were wonderful, and various conversations and playful times they have had since have been delightful too. But it definitely feels like Lumi lite. And I would like to see some extra espresso shots thrown in, because when Lumi are good, they can be electric. I still feel the magic, but it is muffled through many layers and filters, so the effect is downplayed fersure. As I have said, the writers did a detriment to Lumi removing that scheming aspect of their dynamic that made them so special, that made them seem so much like two perfect halves of a whole. I still have a wish deep-down inside that this aspect of their relationship might enjoy some kind of renaissance, but I can't hang onto that hope too fiercely, fragile and tenuous as it is. But, anyway, we essentially agree....just wanted to say I think Lumi had sparks thru the 90s and beyond. Just wish they weren't being stifled so much, as I see it, now. Or used to service some other s/line. Sigh. Can't really say too much more without entering into crazy fan territory, if I am still even behind that threshold, so I will stop here. :P Needless to say I am not watching the live episode today. YAY for the awesome Ejami moments today! :cheer: Ali is also looking much better - her hair, makeup, and wardrobe were much more flattering today than they've been of late. I only have seen the last half of the episode, so can't speak to all of the episode, but also enjoyed the Will/EJ interaction. Enjoyed Lucas scenes today, with his protectiveness towards Will & Sami, while also trying to reign the latter in. |

LOVED EJ's apartment today! He must be the only person to have a real TV in his house in Salem. So nice to see him away from that nastified sofa at DiMansion. Maybe Ejami can break in his new couch? Loved the Ejami scenes today as always especially the last bit where Sami dares him to underestimate her and EJ laughing when she walked out. I also really enjoyed the Lucas and Sonny scenes. I like both of their characters and it was nice to see them together. Sweet. So we can't get any slow builds to romances but we can have loooonnnng drawn out divorces (Nicole & EJ, Sami & Rafe, Hope and John)??? What is up with this. Wish the writers would hurry up and resolve them. Ugh, Rafe! Agent Spencer however . . . well, let's just say I'm intrigued. I wonder if he'll keep popping up in the future? It was rather stupid though when he said "maybe they wore gloves" after how many days after Stefano was shot??? No kidding Sherlock!!! As dumb as Agent Spencer looks for only just now thinking about the possibility of the shooter wearing gloves, how dumb does it make super-cop Rafe look that he hadn't even considered that possibility? Will's getting quick with his comebacks to EJ; the "Why did you want some?" retort after EJ asked if he'd stopped by Sami's for some milk and cookies! Classic! Will be interesting to see what happens when the dynamics change when Will gets the upper hand on EJ. |

I really like Agent Spencer. He doesn't come off as a dullard, in fact he seems kind of competent. He's hot, too. I like Andrew, too. They ought to promote the person doing the day player casting. And Wilson. Not perfect, but a nice start. Edited by Honeybees, Jun 26 2012, 01:28 PM.

Just to be clear, I don't expect anyone to forget/forgive anything. Nor do I hold a grudge against Lucas (or anyone else) for what he did. What he did was messed up, but it's a soap and sh*t happens. The twisted history these people have is one of the best parts of the show. Anyway, back on topic, I like Spencer, too. The guy who plays Andrew either needs to be retconned as a legacy kid or brought back in a new role. |

I think Will's response to EJ's question about milk and cookies "do you want some?" was an ad lib, because James had to fight not to burst out laughing. |

I noticed that too (James trying not to laugh) and CM's comment seemed to come off the cuff. Cracked me up. |
