ABC released a press release on this and said they look forward to GH celebrating its historic 50th anniversary on ABC next year. So I guess it is safe throughout the 2012-2013 season. |

If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time a soap opera has officially changed network timeslots since B&B premiered in 1987 (when ATWT shifted from 1:30pm to 2pm to allow B&B to follow Y&R instead of after ATWT as Capitol had).
